Our first experience in the store was great. The store manager Juan was very helpful and made it seemed like having them install our new floor would be the best decision... I was wrong. To complete this rate I have to mentioned that after the person that came to measure my floors came by it took the store for us to call them (next day afternoon) after at our initial meeting I was told we would get a quote the same day or next day. Since the store manager was not at work the following days his associates were suppose to help and boy was I wrong. They waited for us to call them and ask for updates on our finalized quote, and for us to schedule our install. The guy helping us over the phone ended up telling my husband that he wasn't sure if he had messed up our order so he did not want to give us an incorrect quote and that we had to wait for the next day once the store manager was back at the store. How ridiculous is that for a store not to function properly if the store manager had the day off? Next part of this rating is when I picked up my materials at a different location (I'll be leaving the rating at that store as well) I chose to pick up my material because it was cheaper once I finally got my quote for install. Lady seemed like she wanted to do the bare minimum and seemed to drag to get my supplies. I was there for almost an hour and half just to pick up supplies from them. How ridiculous is that? Lastly but not the least was installation day. Workers arrived, started working on my floors right away. My complain with them is mainly the main man in charge of them. Once we discussed how the floors would be placed and I showed him the materials I had they got to work pretty quickly. He went into his truck and laid down while the other workers worked away. I have two small children so I stayed in a room while they worked on my common areas for the installations. Once I was able to move freely around the house I noticed he was putting some of the pieces of the left over floors into his truck. I mentioned to him right then that whatever was left over I still wanted I mean I did pay for it anyways. He's response was that they were useless pieces but if I wanted them he would leave them. Since that made me curious to what else might of been going on without me focusing on them. Once they were done he gave me a time frame of when u could remove the weight barriers that were packed on top of the transfer of where my new floors meet with my other floors (tile, carpet) after we were told it was okay to take off I noticed one of my transfers had been placed incorrectly and glue was coming out. I took pictures and contacted the store right away. A lady that is in charged of the workers for the installation called me to inform me of what time the next day they would be back to redo that area. Unfortunately I was. It able to be accommodated for the same day service and now I'm waiting for them to return and fix the problem. I encourage everyone that purchases their materials form this store to hire professionals from another establishment or by recommendations. When I walk in my floors I can honest tell in areas that needed more leveling and over all I'm very disappointed in all departments they have to help their costumers. read more

I bought 2 different styles of laminate flooring from the Katy store and they have been awesome! One unfortunately didn't meet my needs and they exchanged with no hassle even though the 30 day for returning the flooring had passed. They even allowed me to return the special order molding that matched the floor. Ignore any bad reviews you may read about lumber liquidators when dealing with the Katy store because the staff there is incredibly helpful! read more

We had a great in-store experience when we went to pick out our flooring. The trouble started with getting an installation quote. I called 10 days ago to request a measure for a labor and materials quote. I was told someone would call me either that day (10 am Saturday) or Monday, to schedule. They immediately charged my credit card the $25 measure fee. That's fine, we wanted to get this done asap. By Monday afternoon, still no word, so I called back. They said the installer had our information and would call us soon. Installer called shortly after and set up the measure for last Wednesday. He came out and was very friendly. The problem is, it's now Monday and we still don't have a bid, which they charged us for. I had a competitor give me a price, and I had it back in a day (plus, it was FREE). We did receive a phone call on Saturday from the store, stating they got the info back from the installer and would send the bid out... Still nothing. This is all a bad sign for a customer who was ready to give you thousands of dollars. Now, I just want my $25 back. read more

We bought the Golden Acacicia from Kensington with a pad already attached which saved us a lot of money, because we didn't need to buy anything else. read more

I had a great experience with this LL branch. Ace, the store manager, handled our order and he was so helpful at every stage. Choosing our wood, pickup, and yes, even some returns (we had a large project) could have been a complicated process but it wasn't because of the great employees at this location. Please avoid. First of all, I ordered the vinyl floors on Tuesday, February 24th. Kevin said there was enough in Spring, TX so I can pick it up. I asked if he could ship it to the store on Beltway 8, he said sure. He told me my order would arrive Friday (Feb 27th) or Monday (March 2nd), and that I would get a call. It's Monday, I call the Beltway 8 store and he says my order is coming from the warehouse and isn't supposed to be there for another 2 weeks. I call Kevin back and he tells me that it's not coming in till the 11th. Ugh! It's now the 11th and I call the Beltway 8 store again and of course, it's not there. It won't be here till the 19th. Unfreaking believable. The 19th comes around and no call. My husband decides to stop by and pay them a visit. OH IT'S THERE. They sent me an email, but my email was incorrect. Nope, they didn't try to call my cell. The boxes were wet, luckily it's vinyl, so it's fine. This company is terrible. Per the "60 Minutes" episode you'll probably get cancer from these China made products anyways. Do not bother with them unless you like to wait a month for an order and don't mind wasting your time calling them time and time again. Oh, and they were having a "sale", one of the lowest pricing sales of the year. Uh yeah. It was $0.20 cheaper per square foot when my husband picked up the materials a month later. Luckily, they refunded us the difference. Ugh, I strongly, STRONGLY dislike this company and will not do business with them again. read more
