We ordered pupusas and some side dishes. Everything tasted good. When cutting into the pupusas, the cheese would just slip out. Most pupusas I've tried dont do this. They are tightly packed with cheese. Still good though. Great service and they have a tablet where you can pick songs and sing karaoke for the restaurant. The people who went up to sing looked like they were having a good time and I was enjoying them singing as well.

BUT LET ME TELL YOUUUU this are the best sopes I have tried I bought some last week in a Mexican restaurant and it was not good tbh This ladies in the kitchen made the food with love and dedication. We always come once a week and I'll keep coming.. felicidades a los dueños you guys have a GEM

Started out the day late and was dead set on a steamy bowl of menudo. Everything was closed being New Year's day. So I did plan B. I caught this little dive restaurant out of the corner of my eye driving back home and decided to give it a try. The place serves both Mexican and Salvadoran food. Guess what? They had menudo but the pupusas won me over . I ate two pupusas immediately. Both were made with pork meat and cheese and they were damn good: thick, hot, chewy and jammed with meat and melted cheese and two types of sauces. I'm sitting here now sucking on my teeth after eating both them...lips and tongue still covered in a little sauce. A nice hot, spicy after taste and a happy stomach! The menudo I ordered to go and will eat that later tonight after a bar run. You know what I gotta say next? "It was sho am good!"

Beef soup! Cure you I promise.

Best salvadorian food around! Beef soup! Papusas...can't go wrong! Service is always great... Family! Don't be in a rush or call ahead and order... Made to how you like it.

Frijol con Queso + Revuelta + rice + curtido. Yum!

My mother ordered 6 pupusas (2 squash, 2 spinach, 1 revuelta, and 1 bean & cheese) for delivery, along with sides of beans and rice. I usually try to get pupusas during visits in the LA area, since they aren't quite the same in the Bay. This place did not disappoint. The pupusas, accoutrements, and sides were all delicious. The shop also included two types of salsas: one mild and one that was pretty spicy. My mother who eats serranos and jalapeños raw enjoyed the spicy one, whereas, I enjoyed a few drops along with the mild. The curtido was also very good and seemed recently made. We've been to other places along Lake and in Monrovia, and this one stands up to the competition. My mother said this is her favorite and will plan to return.

From the moment our aguas frescas came out, we knew this place was different. The lemonade was freshly made, and honestly, who does that anymore? They do. Since it was our first visit, I asked our server to surprise me with her favorite dish. She recommended the Casorio, and wow. The presentation was beautiful, and it tasted even better. I can't gatekeep this place anymore. We moved to the area about two years ago and have been searching for a family-friendly restaurant with consistently great food. I think we finally found it. Our girls love pupusas, and they were a huge hit. We also ordered the fried yuca, which was delicious, and they had a new torta-style sandwich that wasn't even on the menu yet. It reminded me of a Salvadoran pan con pavo, and it was incredible. I have a feeling we're going to become regulars. Great food, friendly service, and a place we're excited to come back to. Highly recommend!

They set up in the outdoor area, which was perfect for a small event. The staff even made special menus for the party, which I thought was a really nice touch. I got to try the queso fundido with chorizo, chicken empanada, pupusa revuelta, and the ceviche tostada plate. The queso fundido was cheesy and rich, and the salty chorizo paired perfectly with the chips. The chicken empanada was crispy on the outside with a moist and flavorful filling. The handmade pupusa was one of my favorites it was soft, cheesy, and packed with flavor. You could really taste that it was freshly made. The ceviche tostada plate was super fresh and refreshing, a great balance to all the richer dishes. Everything we had was delicious, and our server Melissa was awesome. She made sure everyone at the party was well taken care of and kept things running smoothly.

The pupusas (savory filled corn cakes) here are expertly shaped (no cracks) and beautiful. The ratio of filling is very cheese heavy which kinda mutes out the other flavors in the filling in my opinion, but they are still very good. Ask for extra curtido (pickled cabbage slaw) and tomato salsa; it cuts out the richness of the pupusas. Pupusas do take time to assemble and cook as they are made to order, so either call ahead like the locals do or be prepared to wait. If you wish to dine-in, there are a few tables inside. The restaurant is small. I usually do takeout and everything is always packaged nicely for the short ride home.

We started with the ensalada, which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. For pupusas, we ordered the revueltas, loroco con queso, and frijol con queso. We tried both corn and rice dough, and honestly, both were delicious. My personal favorite was the frijol con queso with the rice dough- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The yuca frita was exactly how it should be: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicharrón was cooked perfectly as well, and the homemade green salsa that the sweet lady helping us made was the perfect addition. She was so kind, welcoming, and always had a friendly smile, which made the experience even better. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant is. It's spacious, with plenty of seating whether you're coming with a large group, your family, or just stopping by for a meal on your own. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Next time we're bringing my Salvadoran in-laws- I have a feeling this place will get their authenticity approval too! Spanish!
