This small restaurant tucked away in part of a car wash is a special find. This is not fast food, both by how popular they are at lunch time, but also the fact that the Pupusas are hand rolled in the back to order. It took 20+ minutes during lunch rush but it was worth the wait! Bring your dirty car for a $30 hand wash while you wait for your food. For something this authentic, the menu was surprisingly posted also in English and the questions about the menu were answered in English and Spanish. The asada/cheese and spinach/cheese were fresh gooey and crispy on the edges. The cabbage slaw and red & green salsas were a perfect accompanyment to the rich pupusa. The asada tortas are also great choice with chopped asada on press grilled fresh rolls press grilled and slathered in fresh guacamole, black bean and lettuce/tomato. It's part of a car wash site and you'll likely be sniffing car wash detergent while you eat, but it's worth it. Pupusas galore! I ordered loroco and Calabasas. They both had cheese and I honestly couldn't tell the difference which made me question if I got the right plate since my coworker also ordered the same thing. I ordered 4 rebuelta pupusas for my boyfriend and I to share. The pupusas were so big that we only ate 1 each for lunch and ate the other 1 for dinner. I really like the pupusas.
