    Loroco and Calabaza

This spot is near work and my coworker's took me here. I wouldn't have found this place otherwise. It's part of a car wash site and you'll likely be sniffing car wash detergent while you eat, but it's worth it. Pupusas galore! I ordered loroco and Calabasas. They both had cheese and I honestly couldn't tell the difference which made me question if I got the right plate since my coworker also ordered the same thing. Regardless, topped with the slaw and salsa, it's a perfect lunch. Two was enough for me to be full, plus a jamaica. The ladies working there were friendly and genuinely happy we were there on a cold day. Happy to give them business!

Freshly made pupusas while you get a car wash. Hit the spot and will be back to actually get my car washed while I grub some more. The waitress/cook was very friendly. Bring cash as it's cash only.

Deliciosas Pupusas truly lives up to its name. I stopped by today and tried the Asada and Revuelta pupusas, and I couldn't believe how much food I got for the price. The revuelta ended up being my favorite, and I'll definitely be back for more whenever I'm in the area. The spot is tucked away inside a hand car wash, so it can be a little tricky to find--but trust me, it's worth the effort once you take that first bite.

Cash or Zelle only! Street parking only unless you're there for the car wash as well. I didn't seem to have any trouble finding parking on a weekday during lunch time. Beware of no parking on specific days during a small sliver of time frame for street sweeper on residential streets. They encourage you to call ahead of time to place an order if you plan on taking your food to-go. To place a phone order, it's the same number as their Zelle number 323-347-3300. Pupusas take about 15-20 minutes to be ready, they're all made to order. There a few tables to dine there if you'd like. They have other dishes but I really come here for their pupusas, soo good! Dough for pupusas is soft and fluffy with just the right amount of density. Comes with tons of pickled veggies consisting of onions, carrots, cabbage and jalapenos. Today they had Lime&Cucumber or Horchata for their Aguas Frescas options. Not sure if they have rotating flavors. Horchata was not too sweet, it's definitely house made with soaked/grinded rice and whole cinnamon bark. So good, I need another one. 1. Revelta (Pork, Cheese &Beans Pupusas)- you can ask for no beans if you don't like beans. Pork was so flavorful. I understand why it's their #1 on the menu. 4. Queso Y Espinacas (Cheese & Spinach Pupusas)- great, cheesy! 7. Asada (Beef &Cheese Pupusas)- so big, dinner plate size. Beef was tender and chopped well but wasn't as flavorful as pork was.

    Pupusas, Curtido, salsa, horchata.

Absolutely. Fresh made to order pupusas, not overcooked nor undercooked. There's a variety to choose from. The curtido ingredients are fresh and the salsas are just on point with the heat. The menu includes a variety of traditional Salvadoran food, agua frescas and drinks. This is the best place to eat delicious pupusas. We will definitely return. The service is great too. Parking only on street, don't let this deter you from enjoying the best pupusas.

Food is always good and it's a way to get your car wash out of the way :) Not too busy for a Sunday morning!

We were craving pupusas and found Deliciosas Pupusas on Yelp. It was fascinating to see that this pupusa stand is within the same compound as a car wash. It is literally a hut, but there are a couple of tables and chairs available if you'd like to eat there. It is cash only or you can pay with Zelle. I ordered 4 rebuelta pupusas for my boyfriend and I to share. The pupusas were so big that we only ate 1 each for lunch and ate the other 1 for dinner. I really like the pupusas. It was very cheesy and the pickled cabbage was so good and refreshing. It was served with the red tomato base sauce and a very light salsa verde. Each pupusa was only $4 dollars each. They are also made to order. I called in my order and when I arrived, two women were making them fresh. This is definitely a hidden gem that I'll be frequenting.

I love grabbing pupusas while waiting for my car to be washed. They're usually quick unless it's really busy. The portions are huge, the food is delicious, and it's truly a hidden gem.

Been meaning to post a review since I came here last year to try them out. The pupusas are good. After speaking to them, I found that it's the same family that owns the car wash. Everyone is nice and the pupusas are delicious. We came at a good time with no wait, but after 5 mins, there was a good amount of people lining up. Wanted to try everything. and ended up ordering soo much food. We'd definitely come back if we're craving foe pupusas again.

Prices were fair and the portions were really solid. The revuelto was delicious, & the asada one was even bigger, probably my favorite if it had beans. The pepino agua fresca was bomb if you've got a sweet tooth. I came in from Orange County and it was totally worth the drive.

Food is amazing and fresh. And the staff is super friendly. My wife was craving pupusas and I never say no to them. Decided to try a new place so placed a phone order for takeout. Little did I know that its located inside a car wash. They have limited seating there if you want to dine there. But even my takeout order was fire. My new go to place for pupusas!

Rueveltas, beans and cheese and asada cut in half. The spicy cabbage and the homemade sauces only make them better, if that's even possible.
    John E.

Yes it's in a car wash, but not the kind you're thinking of. It's a hand wash so you don't have to power your way through suds to get to the cool little counter just up the driveway entrance. Check my pic of the amazing food! Had to wait 15 minutes while they made them to order and patted them back-and-forth in their palms to make them fresh. Tried beans and cheese, asada, spinach and cheese, and the classic rueveltas. Came in a shirt and tie and no one blinked an eye. Got a great spot in the shade and watched some dudes work hard washing cars by hand while I mowed through some amazing Pupusas. Definitely coming back.

We came a couple of months ago and had their loaded yucca fries with carne asada as well as some pupusas. The meat on our fries felt really low quality-- the best way I could describe it was it tasting like frozen hamburger meat-- and gave us indigestion for the rest of the night, which was really disappointing to experience. Today we unfortunately experienced some really rude service. My bf ordered a plain water and we were given a fresco ensalada (no big deal, he likes it) We don't eat pork and ordered fried yucca on its own, just yucca frita. We were given a plate of yucca con chicharron :( I told the service we just ordered yucca frita and we were told that we did not specify that for her. I explained that we don't eat pork so we sent it back and were met with a displeasing look. I said we didn't want to yucca anymore since we had a lot of food already and she said "the kitchen already made it." So I said it was fine but just the yucca this time and she came back with the same exact plate just without the chicharron-- no visible plate change. Needless to say for the price, decline in food quality, and rude service, it's not worth coming back. At least not for a while.

We started with the ensalada, which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. For pupusas, we ordered the revueltas, loroco con queso, and frijol con queso. We tried both corn and rice dough, and honestly, both were delicious. My personal favorite was the frijol con queso with the rice dough- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The yuca frita was exactly how it should be: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicharrón was cooked perfectly as well, and the homemade green salsa that the sweet lady helping us made was the perfect addition. She was so kind, welcoming, and always had a friendly smile, which made the experience even better. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant is. It's spacious, with plenty of seating whether you're coming with a large group, your family, or just stopping by for a meal on your own. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Next time we're bringing my Salvadoran in-laws- I have a feeling this place will get their authenticity approval too! Spanish!
