I would not recommend. At the start, we got a very thorough and detailed list of everything that…read morewould be done with our project and were very pleased by the specs. His sub contractor got through about 2/3 of the project before apparently storming off. I was actually getting angry phone calls from the sub contractor demanding payment for a job not finished. I'm not sure what was going on behind the scenes, but it wasn't looking good. Chuck did sorta finish the job himself, but it was a thrown-together effort with lots of promises to follow up and complete tasks later...but none of that ever happened. To complete the job, he wanted more money. I paid it because I didn't think any more work would be done otherwise. If you have an alternative contractor, I'd say go with them.

When unsure about choices, she said she would write up the estimate broken down so I could consider my options carefully. She gave me ideas I didn't even consider. I was also looking to get the job done before family event so my deadline was tight. Her estimate came in the next day and was very competitive, and compared to the other bids I had received, we were getting fantastic value. We accepted the offer and her team came out early the following week committed to completing the job before my deadline. The team did a fantastic job, exceeding my expectations. I was particularly impressed with the construction of the three gates I called for. Two side gates were especially attractive, and a double 10 foot gate in the back was very well constructed with 8 inch square pressure treated posts and a steel frame supporting the structure. I am planning on using the Red Diamond team for additional projects on my property and would enthusiastically, recommend them to anyone.

Mitigation of a roof leak after rain/wind storm…read more I woke up the day before my flight to visit family for the holidays and found a puddle on my living room floor. It turned out to be a leak that soaked two walls, and I had to find help fast. Oregon Restoration replied to me immediately while other companies took hours to respond. Their friendly office staff calmly walked me through what to expect in the process and sent help that day. Danny arrived right on time and was friendly, professional, and thorough. He let me look at his instruments as he assessed the extent of the damage, shared pictures with me, explained what they would do and helped me understand next steps. After that as I was traveling, he kept in contact with me to make sure I knew what was happening at home. He also worked with my roommates to help them understand what was happening and arrange work visits. Every person on his team was respectful and helpful, and they checked the progress of the drying process regularly. Danny worked with my insurance adjuster to make sure everything went forward smoothly. The staff at the company, from estimation of damage services (Matt) to project managment (Danny and Meghan) was excellent. Each stage was explained, questions answered, options laid out, and actions scheduled. Company representatives negotiated well with my insurance company. And the "back office' staff were most heklpful in setting up payment services. Although (as so often with reconstruction) more problems due to leakage were discovered as the project progressed, leading to a longer project time than expected, I always felt I was in good hands. No detail was too small to be addressed, and "doing the job right" was al ways a high priority. My kitchen has been more than restored: it has been improved, and the results are beautiful. I am very pleased with my eperience with Oreogn Restoration, and would choose them again.
