We first worked with Rick 6+ years ago when we moved into our home. He installed shutters in our bedrooms and office, and they've held up beautifully. I remembered how professional and on top of everything he was, so I reached out again when we needed blinds for our bedroom. Jeremy and Parker came out for measurements and made the whole process incredibly easy. They walked us through options, gave thoughtful suggestions, and provided an estimate. All in about 10-15 minutes. About two weeks later, they returned for installation and were done in under 5 minutes. Everything was seamless. The best part is how it turned out. It's exactly what we envisioned, if not better. We now have automated blinds in our bay window that give us privacy while still letting in light, and they look so clean in person. They even upgraded us to a system without a visible battery pack, which made a big difference aesthetically. Truly some of the best in the industry. Friendly, efficient, and trustworthy. Call me when you can. Later is ok. My manufacturer has to remake the kitchen shutter. They made it wrong. I apologize for that. The other issue I can take a look at or my installer can stop by. How do they look besides those 2 issues. Thank you, Chris" Two months went by and I got another message about the delay and that they would be ready in a few weeks. I messaged several more times and just never got any replies anymore. Once the company installed, they essentially stopped caring. Won't use or recommend again. Customer service always goes along way and I'm very disappointed. The shutters look nice, but now due an error the kitchen shutter is not able to be opened as I would have liked it to. It's now been 7 months where I never got any response back from Christopher.

After meeting with Adam and several other contractors, I decided to go with Patio Guy not only…read morebecause of his five-star rating, but several other factors that were important to me (and probably you as well): 1) He could deliver and install my new cover within a week vs. the other guys taking months; 2) I wasn't limited to just the AlumaWood product (which wasn't modern enough for me), and (3) his price to install with an upgraded cover (insulated) was far below his competitors constrained by higher overhead and slower delivery times. I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

It worked wonderfully, with the convenience of a remote control for opening and closing the shade without stepping into the tub. After some years, maybe 10 years, the motor stopped working. I contacted Affordable Window Coverings and they sent out a worker to investigate. It was determined the motor was not reparable. I asked if the motor could be replaced as I liked the shade, they answered no and indicated I would need to replace everything, shade and motor. Since I wanted to keep the shade, I contacted another window covering service, Budget Blinds of Corona. They replaced the motor, allowing me to keep the shade, and the motorized window shade is now working beautifully again.
