While their employee was looking for my son's size, turned out the 2 styles he was interested in, didn't have them in 12 for either. When I told my son to take a picture of the info and shoe so he could look later at the online site, your employee laughed and told us... "Not for another 8yrs." And then proceeded to go on a long rant that thanks to the president, everything's messed up and now with this war. Going on and on. I do not come to a store to be lectured about how much an employee hates the president or what he feels the state our country is in and how nothing's going to be right again till the Republicans are gone. I took as much as I could till I finally mentioned, "This is what I voted for". At which he got pissed & huffed away. But not before he said.... Well I better not get reenlisted in this war, or I might take him out myself". This, because in his rant was talking about the president starting the war. Then he walked away, cussing the entire time. Including catching the word `b!+@%`. Though I do not know if that e for me or 'son of' was added first. I did not catch his name, but he was an older man with dark skin and white hair, with not an actual beard, just white stubble, and about to 6'. This was at 10:20am at the 11550 Lakeridge PARKWAY, Ashland store. So many things were wrong with him and this visit. From his ranting about his political views, the 'war' he feels we're in, that the company won't even be getting in any new shoes due to "Everything being closed down", to saying he would murder the president of the United States, to them cussing at/about me as he walked away, but more than loud enough for us both hear. As a note? I don't wear political items, and I will never bring up politics to a complete stranger. So I most definitely did not start him on his tirade. He walked up to us in the shoe department, and very shortly started in. Very disappointed to see such bad character, and vocalizating about killing our president. Not amused at all. Especially as we had to drive 45miles each way just to visit the shop. Will NEVER visit this store again. Especially when I can go to another huge store just like it down the street.

It's located near the Whole Foods in Short Pump and has a lot of free parking out front. You're able to do curbside pick up if you want too. I usually go inside because I enjoy looking at all their goodies and daydreaming about outdoor trips. In the past, I've gotten climbing gear, camping gear, and apparel here. While things are pricey, I appreciate what great quality their stuff is. And I while I have never used this before, it sounds like they repair the stuff you get from here for you. I just learned on a recent trip that you can use your receipt to get free access to state parks if you're a member which is so awesome. I'm excited to use this for Pocahontas State Park next time I go. The people are always super kind here and willing to help with any questions you may have.

I arrived today and saw some on the bottom of the glass display back in fishing. There was another brand on top of the Moebas so I couldn't see if there were any others besides the, "Mimizu" option. There was one gentleman helping two men with some reels and braided line. After a few minutes he went over and told another staff member that he had another customer that needed help. The other staff member was leaning surf rods up against a shelf to the right of where I was standing. He is a white guy, buzz cut with some thinning on top, he had, "a chew" in which he spit into a soda bottle, green shirt and a mustache. He came up front and I spoke. I asked him if there were any other color Moeba down below. He replied, "This is all we have!" before I was even finished speaking. I was going to say that I couldn't see completely what was on the bottom of the display because there was another brand of similar lures on top. I told him that, and he looked down to see. He was not friendly or pleasant at all like Gary and Justin have been in the last two recent trips. Very short and he seemed annoyed. I asked for two of the Mimizus, and told him I was going to continue shopping. I dealt with similar reactions at the old location, which I why I stopped coming to Green Top for several years. I too know what it's like to be busy at work, but if I was short and rude to my patients before their procedures, I would definitely be in trouble. I stopped into Dick's the other day for a can of Mace. I walk downtown daily and have had a few…read morealmost-altercations with drivers who don't understand they need to stop for pedestrians who are halfway across cross walks with the walk signal, so I wanted to arm myself in case I ever encounter an extra aggressive motorist. I used to have a can on hand when I worked in a fairly dangerous part of North Philly (that I never used), but that stuff expires after a few years, so it was time to refresh! When I walked in with my mom, we were immediately greeted and assisted with finding the Mace. They actually had a large selection of cans, which I thought was pretty random but nice. I chose the pink one without tear gas for $15 and was quickly on my way. The rest of the store seemed clean and well-designed, but I didn't stick around to browse. This location is in the Willow Lawn shopping center surrounded by a bunch of other chains, but parking was easy on Sunday. I'd return for sporting goods or some more Mace if needed in the future. Let's hope I never have to use it!

I visited this establishment over 3 weeks ago and was denied the sale of my firearm. Perfectly fine. I had a shipping label emailed to them the SAME DAY to have said firearm returned. I've called numerous times to check on its status because the seller still hasn't received the returned firearm, just to receive the response "a firearm shipped out, i don't know if it was yours" without being asked my name or anything. I emailed 6 days ago to check the status again, I was told it was just packaged and awaiting pickup... 3 weeks later. I immediately asked to be updated when it's picked up by UPS, tracking info, etc. Still to this second haven't received a response. I spent $800 on a firearm that I was not only denied access to but then held for 3 weeks with no explanation, communication, apology?? The overall handling of this situation was unprofessional and frustrating. It STILL hasn't been resolved and has been ongoing since June 18th. I cannot be refunded until the seller receives the firearm back. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone.
