They were phenomenal. Honest, reliable and knowledgeable. I ran into an unscrupulous air conditioning company that attempted to use the scare tactic of "dangerous Carbon Monoxide" levels to get us to replace our entire system to the tune of $45k. Lennie, the owner of LMP came out and tested the levels in our home and assessed the unit and showed me how far below the CO readings were in our home and assured me that we did not need a replacement. Contacted LMP to have my outside air conditioner's capacitor replaced. Spoke with Mrs Paterno whom was very polite and very down to earth. Mrs Paterno advised they were busy, but she would work on getting Mr Paterno out as quickly as possible. Within a day of calling, Mrs Paterno advised Mr Paterno was on his way to replace my capacitor. Once Mr Paterno arrived, he was very professional, helpful/knowledgeable and clearly very honest. Mr Paterno replaced my capacitor and his price for the installation was better than what my previous air conditioning service technician charged. Overall, I am 110% satisfied with the quality and professionalism I received from LMP. I will no longer use my previous air conditioning service, moving forward I will only use LMP. This is my 2nd review of LMP, and I would give 5 stars +++, if possible. This was the year to finally add AC to mom's house and I was ready to hire LMP to do the job in April, however, my mom is "old school practical" and insisted on obtaining 3 quotes from other companies, just to compare. One larger company quoted me a price that was more than double LMPs pricing, kept insisting on an absurdly large AC unit that was MUCH too big for this small-ish home. A 2nd company used a hard-core salesman that actually tried to use scare tactics, mansplaining to me that many of the small HVAC businesses hire ex-cons, and that I need to be careful who I allow in my home (insert eye roll here). After sitting through 3 pretty hard sell presentations, we had a good laugh and then called LMP. Leonard took his time and answered my questions about the different options, the length of time it would take to install, and walked me through the entire time line. He showed up each day on-time, left zero debris behind at the end of each day, and actually finished earlier than expected. We've used the AC all summer and it has run perfect, very efficient, no issues whatsoever! And a bonus update - I reached out to Leonard on a recent Friday evening, seeking advice on a non HVAC issue - the dude showed up at our house the next day, assessed the non-HVAC problem, explained the likely culprit (and offered a great solution to avoid any further issues) - Easy Peasy, problem solved. I still can't believe he came out to fix a non HVAC issue. Here's the bottom line - Leonard will not "Mansplain" anything to you, he treats you with kindness, tells you the facts, gives you his real quote (and won't be changing that quote down the road), he NEVER uses scare tactics or sales tactics - heck he doesn't even try to sell you on anything - just gives you the facts, the price, and when he is available to do the work. Save yourself A LOT of time and energy, just call LMP! Leonard is a good guy with a kind heart and a very strong work ethic. Good people are hard to find, and Leonard is GOOD people! read more

Our heating and air conditioning system went on the blink yesterday. After referring to Yelp; we called LMP HEATING & AIR, INC., since they had good reviews and we're located in our neighborhood. We are so glad we did! Leonard arrived at the scheduled time, was very personable and knowledgeable, and explained what he thought could be wrong with our system. He was able to repair it for us quickly and at a very reasonable price! I was told by another company that my AC was outdated and using R22 refrigerant and should be replaced by a new $15,000 system. I called LMP and within an hour, Leonard arrived and checked the system, found it was not outdated and was using the latest R-410a freon. He recharged it and it's running just fine. He explained all the tests as he did them and was very professional. I would recommend LMP to anyone wanting high-quality personal service. We had a problem with the thermostat on an old wall heater. I called LMP and they came out the same day in between other service calls. Leonard replaced the thermostat with a new one and did some other minor maintenance on the wall unit. He was super friendly, clean & knowledgeable. I will only use LMP in the future.
