The quality of the food was good; however, the service was poor. After waiting an hour after we first ordered, they brought out our appetizers at the same time as our entrées, not just for our table but also for the table next to us as well. Despite the waitress writing down each of our orders, she still managed to forget to place one of our entree orders. The owners who were made aware of this did nothing to make it right. Really amazing food! Awesome place. Perfect dinner from start to end. The venue itself is a warm and cozy, and feels like a wine bar. It's not too cold and the music isn't too loud. The service was spot on - our server was eager to please and very knowledgeable. I felt like she understood what everyone at our table wanted before we even had a chance to tell her. She made great recommendations. We always had full glasses and bread on the table. There were no mistakes, despite some semi-complicated orders. The steaks were cooked to temperature perfectly, the filets were great quality meat. The peppercorn sauce was awesome and not overpowering - wouldn't change a thing. The grilled veggie sides (we had sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, asparagus, broccoli rabe and zucchini between the four of us) were all perfect, too, and went well with the meats on our plates. Tiny little place on Biscayne Blvd. but very cute and cozy inside. Went there on a Saturday night with 3 other people and shared the veggie appetizer plate, which was great but I also saw the chorizo and meats platter at another table and that looked and smelled delicious too. We ordered the parrillada for 2 and shared it with 3 people and it was more than enough. Unfortunately they had run of out chorizo for the night (that other table got the last of it) and that was kind of sucky, but the server was very nice and switched the chorizo for steak on the parrilla so that was great. The meat was very good and the other person in my group had a salad with feta cheese that was also very tasty. The place has a great wine selection and their house wine was super cheap and great quality too. Very affordable prices for the quality of the food. read more

The sangria was nice and ice cold. So was the rest of the food. Cold yet tasty. Upon us mentioning this to the manager he said they never heat the plates and do the best to bring it out ASAP. But with me when it comes to "kitchen sink", I would tell you "AWESOME" and please can I have more..... GRILLED SWEET BREADS, SAUSAGE, CHINCHULINES, and BLOOD SAUSAGE....YESSSS. My wife and I ordered the cheese and chorizo platter as an appetizer and we shared the mixed grill also known as the "Parillada" which included grilled sausages, steaks, ribs, sweetbreads, and tripes. It was absolutely delicious and well worth the price. One more thing, it is a very small place, nice, and intimate especially an ideal place for couples. In addition, this place has limited parking spaces available for its customers; therefore, plan to walk a little when the place is full with people. read more

Forks missing, and got myself. had to ask for bread, as never received. arrogant and stressed staff, poured house wine into my nice redwine bottle we had ordered, to compensate. When I mentioned this was a different wine she just walked away, and came back with a 30% discount on our bill. I was just here on a Wednesday night by myself. There were only a few other tables there. There were two servers working (a man and a woman). They were both really nice and attentive. They checked on me enough but not too much. I ordered the Lomo a la Parrilla but I asked to substitute the broccoli rabe for the bok choy. I ordered the steak medium and it came medium. The food was really good and the little puffs of bread they give you while you're waiting are yummy. All in all I would say it was a very good experience and I would definitely go back and go back with friends or family. Go and try it for sure! read more

Service was almost too good, we wanted time to talk and look over the menu, but the server kept coming back every 2 minutes to see if we were ready to order. We ordered the shrimp appetizer. The shrimp were extremely over cooked and rubbery. We asked them to remake them but kindly not over cook them. Second time was much better. I ordered the pork chop thinking it would be of substantial thickness. It was more like a pork cutlet. It was the thinnest piece of meat I've ever seen! Needless to say, it too, was overcooked. It was as tough as leather! I had asked for medium, thinking it would still be slightly pink in the center, but with this cut, there is virtually no way to get anything but well done. I again let the server know my food was over cooked. She offered to remake it, but I knew that would take too long. I inquired about the salmon, thinking that wouldn't take nearly as long. I ordered it and asked for med rare. I got a piece of fish that had been put on the grill long enough to get grill marks on each side, but still be cold and raw in the center. At this point, the service had totally slipped. Now, nobody, including the owner/manager(?) would even stop by our table. Waters went un filled, tried to get another drink...that took forever! I have worked in the hospitality industry for a number of years, I'm also a culinary school graduate. That is no way to treat guests patronizing your establishment. Ignoring a guest with a legitimate complaint only makes a situation worse! On the flip side, my husband enjoyed his steak. The only complaint about his would be: if the specials are posted on a board, put the price with it. I think the food could have been good had it not been over cooked, I read all the other reviews, which were almost all outstanding, maybe it was an off night for the grill cook? read more

Completely overpriced and meat was just average. The empanadas were just ok. La estancia Argentina is much better. The provoleta was cold and under seasoned and not how it's supposed to be. The gnocchi were very good though. The bread were mini dough balls, unimpressed. It's different and were good with the aioli to start of but should not replace the regular French bread normally served at any argentine restaurant with a meal. Well, this place was a delightful surprise blessing that saved our lives. After my boyfriend and I exiled ourselves from Organic Bites (see review) after a bizarre foodless situation, we beelined across the street when my South American boyfriend saw, like a beacon of hope, "Argentinian Grill." I was skeptical, because it's about the size of a thumb and I normally don't go to restaurants blindly, but the place ended up being our salvation. It was delightful. Clearly family owned, intimate, and cozy. The service was fabulous and the food even better: real Argentinian fare (I asked my boyfriend), millions of little balls of pillowy bread, a polenta tower to die for, juicy steak (duh, Argentina) and to top it off - crepes that came to our table aflame. I love Lo de Lea! It's warm and intimate setting provides the perfect atmosphere for a small group or romantic date. I had the salmon and it was hands-down the best salmon I've had in Miami. I also enjoyed a glass of Malbec (a must-have in an Argentine restaurant). My date had the churrasco steak which he reports was delicious. The prices were very affordable for the quality of the food. We would have easily spent a fortune had we been in South Beach or Brickell. Another major plus is that the restaurant has free parking. read more

Had a great experience at this cozy Argentine restaurant. My wife and I arrived shortly after the restaurant opened and chose to sit outdoors at one of the few tables out front to enjoy the sunset over Biscayne Blvd. Since we were the only ones there, service was prompt and helpful. For some reason, the restaurant didn't have ice ready when we arrived, but cold beer made up for it. We had a delicious sweet bread appetizer followed up with two steak dinners (pictured) and washed down with two beers each. The food was delicious with helpings that we couldn't finish in one sitting. The total bill came out to $100 (including tip). For the doodler, the tables inside come with a few select crayons and a white tablecloth. There is also a small off-street parking lot along the side of the building. Delicious. Their steak is always well made not extremely chewy like many places. I usually get the Entrana meal and always replace the escarole with broccoli. So good! I simply wish they provided larger side portions. For instance a side of mash is about 4 spoonfuls. I was expecting a lot, but unfortunately we did not have a good experience. We had the mixed grill for two ( i forgot the name ) it comes in 2-3 different plates. The sausages were good, sweetbread was awesome but the steak and chicken had so much salt that we couldn't eat them at all. I would let them know about it and ask them to change it i'm sure it was a mistake and it's not like this all the time but we had tickets and had to leave so we just left the majority of the food there and headed out.
