Horrible place but it's the only restaurant in town Incredibly slow service And food is bland They totally messed up our orders

Not good pizza. You call this a sausage pizza?!

Not good pizza. You call this a sausage pizza?! ONE piece of sausage per slice, what a joke! And, the pizza overall doesn't even taste that good. Small town mediocrity at its best because these people have no idea what good pizza is. Their salads are all iceberg lettuce too. Save your money and get a pizza at the Ambassador.

The Best fish in town. I ordered the lake trout, blackened instead of seasoned. It was done to perfection, although I would have liked it Blacker, with more spiciness, my fish came out well cooked with a healthy dose of spice.

I was served a kids sized burger on a normal sized bun. Got charged for a double burger when I ordered a single. Burger was over cooked.

Delivery takes up to 2 hours for a 6-m drive. Food always arrives cold. Never an apology or any type of discount offered.

The staff was fun as they decorated for Halloween. The chili had the perfect spice and the chicken quesadilla was perfect!

Friendly staff- they handled our huge crew with a pile of kids well. Took awhile to bring it out - but always good food!

A widely varying menu w/something for everyone, a server as sweet as honey, and huge portions of food that is well made, a delicious blend of flavors, and served quickly. The Hut - A Gem in the Keweenaw!…read more The Hut is a very unique experience, and we were thrilled to stumble upon it--especially since dining options in the area are a bit limited. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the quirky decor that ties into the Keweenaw's mining history. It's charming, memorable, and adds a special local touch you don't often find. My wife was on the hunt for some Lake Superior whitefish, and The Hut *delivered*. She went with the broiled preparation and couldn't stop raving about it--flaky, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I opted for a patty melt and was equally impressed. The marble rye was perfectly toasted, and the flavors were spot on. Service was decent overall. Our server did forget my tea, which was a minor hiccup, but honestly, it didn't detract much from the experience. The quality of the food and the one-of-a-kind atmosphere more than made up for it. If you're in the Keweenaw and looking for a satisfying meal with some local character, The Hut is definitely worth a stop.

I had hoped for a locally caught Golden fried Whitefish filet unfortunately it was just a standard square fish patty , fries were okay , service was alright , ambiance left a bit to be desired. All in all the experience was a bit of a letdown. I guess I had imagined something a little more Dreamy.

A mix of mostly locals and some campers and boaters (we came by boat and parked at the Dreamland dock). Clean restaurant and bathrooms (always appreciated). We ordered the special: fried chicken with past. My husband loved the combo. The pasta sauce was soooooo goooood. Ordering that as a stand-alone dish would be a winner too. The chicken was fried very nice! The sandwich was one of their famous ones but I don't remember the name. It's the last one on the menu. Our friends love this and always come here for it. I got the whitefish. It was delicate and moist. I was a little bummed that the tartar sauce was not homemade because I bet they'd do a great job at it. Instead it was a premade sauce. Great service. Friendly atmosphere. Nice porch to sit on the rocker after dinner and chill for a bit before heading back to the boat. Did I mention how cool- and unique - a public dock that takes you to a restaurant on the Portage is?! 10 points for that alone!
