I would like to state that i contracted Precision Garage Door of Reno to provide with a brand new garage door, to replace the door placed in by Local Garage Doors. That door was placed in just 14 months to it breaking down. Precision Garage door charge is 2200. compared to the 2700 that Local Garage door charged. So in total I will be paying almost 5000 for the one door, that should have been installed correct the first time. So you suck Local Garage Doors and I recommend not to use them. read more

I do appreciate the professionalism and the quick response they gave me. I got the service at my Northwest Reno NV. home. I did get same day service. That being said. I looked into cost of material. A Lift Master Garage door with two remotes, a spring to replace broken spring double garage door. The service person was here for less than two hours. The materials at max should have been around $200 to $350. The total bill for service and materials was just under $1500.00. The emergency room doctor that saw me at Renown ER charged me about the same. So I guess I shouldn't complain. I do understand that the prices may change when coming out and seeing the job. This job was pretty straight forward. The service provider was here before and did great work in fixing the door before. He was here for the same time and I was charged half that amount. Four weeks ago my garage door and Truckee buckled and got stuck. I called these folks and they responded from Reno almost immediately. They didn't charge me but help me to get the garage door closed, but the whole thing was in shambles. Read the contract fine prints before signing. I placed an order for garage door replacement in July 2 ND week and after multiple attempts they have not installed the garage door till date. They promised install within 4-6 weeks and they did give me a call in August for installation, but canceled it a day before. They gave me multiple dates first in August and in October and November, but every time they canceled the install the day before. I asked them multiple times to give me a firm date or refund the deposit, they say that they will not do the refund and I need to wait for 16 to 32 weeks and while I am waiting they are not doing anything and sitting on my order with no install date. I have written them emails, spoken to their managers and have full chat history. I am going to wait until 32 weeks and then do not let them install the door even if they receive the door. Read for yourself the reply from the owner It is 6 months now and instead of refunding or gving a firm date, they will hold you to the 32 weeks contract. They gave 3 install dates and canceled day before the install date. Initially I was promised 4-6 weeks, but they have fine prints so do not repeat my mistake as they will hold you for 32 weeks. read more

Then the company charged me an extra $20 for paying by check instead of cash. I've never had that experience before. Usually a non cash surcharge only applies when paying by credit card. DO NOT hire this company. The garage door this company offers has major manufacturing issues. They know this and yet they continue to sell it. My new garage door does not close evenly across the panels. After LG technicians replaced each panel and came out six times to "adjust", they finally decided it was my problem and there was nothing they could do. Each time the installing technician came out, he said it was the manufacturer and there was nothing wrong with my foundation. Exceptional service in responding to my original call. I have mice coming in under the weathstriping which was old. Scheduler told me I should use the "rodent stripping" which I said sure. The employee came out the next day. Changed the weather stripping and oiled old parts. So far so good. Then he tried to upsell me on a new motor which I understand. I said no thank you. Got a bill for $750 which seems high for 3 hours of work but I paid it. Next day I email to see if he put on the "rodent stripping". No reply. One week later I respond to "rate out service" survey and "give us great ratings" and I email again and was told I would get a response. Guess what? No response.
