The food itself is okay and the price isn't horrible. The lobby bar upstairs I felt had better food options. One thing to note is that this restaurant charges an auto gratuity. Now I know it's my fault for not reviewing the bill before I pay but there was so many random named charges like coffee upgrade $2 x 3 and espresso shot $4 and add on blah blah and gluten free the receipt had a lot going on so I didn't think to look for a HIDDEN service fee. I told the check stand host and she said she would notify her manager but he never came around. I wasn't expecting anything I just wanted to make sure my feelings about setting an expectation of an auto gratuity is already set. That way I can choose to give more or not. I always tip at MINIMUM 22% especially since the employees are next level attentive. I was very disappointed in this situation. INTEGRITY and HONESTY is EVERYTHING in my reviews so that's why I'm giving this hotel restaurant a 2.

I started my day by having breakfast here. I had the three egg omelet with mushrooms, cheddar cheese, and sausage and an orange juice. It was good but plan on dropping $30 for breakfast. The OJ alone was $6. The only complaint I would have is some more attention to visiting the customer. I had to wait a long time for refills and ask the manager for the check. I went back for diner and decided to try the filet, medium rare, with Yukon Mashed Potatoes, broiled Asparagus, peppercorn sauce and chives. The steak was cooked perfectly and mashed potatoes nice and creamy. The asparagus was small and the plate looked rather empty upon presentation. I then noticed they missed the peppercorn sauce and chives. I asked about them and it took them a long time to come back (I was almost done with the meal) and they informed me that they didn't have any more peppercorn sauce. That was disappointing since that's something I wanted when I chose to spend the $45 on the meal. The manager came over and apologized and said the kitchen failed to inform them that they were out. I then asked about the chives. She said she didn't know I didn't have them and would talk to the kitchen. She said she would adjust my bill for the disappointment. The servers were kind and most likely exchange students due to their heavy accents. They apologized and I appreciated that. There were only about 3-5 people in the restaurant when I was there. It was very slow. I was finished with my meal and had to wait for my bill a long time. Long enough for me to write this review and post the pics. I finally asked for my bill. They made a 25% discount. Plan to spend about $50 per person for a meal.

This review is only for breakfast. We had free breakfast at the hotel every morning as part of our Marriott points, so that was a plus. I think my favorite was the granola and yogurt parfait. Or the lox and bagel. There aren't many options on the menu for breakfast but they also have a breakfast buffet for $30 a person. The service was always a little slow each day, but it was always busy during breakfast. Coffee is included with your meal, which is also a plus. If you're staying at the hotel and can get a free breakfast, it's a great alternative since there aren't many affordable options in the area.

Food was awesome and service was great! Recommend the Key Lime Pie, Shrimp Scampi, and Vodka Rigatoni.

Shrimp Scampi seemed expensive for an appetizer but was enough for an entree and very tasty.

This review is for both the restaurant and the room service (which is an identical menu). I would…read moresuggest you use the room service option. If you are going to leave your room for dinner/lunch there are better options. Lunch/dinner: The turkey club is fantastic. The French fries are not. Substitute anything else (including the sweet potato fries which are amazing). The New England clam chowder is better than decent but not amazing. Worth ordering if you are in the mood for soup. The Caesar salad is large and flavorful. The grilled chicken addition was not as pleasant... albeit passable. The chopped salad was great... although I held the blue cheese and had the dressing on the side. Breakfast: The eggs were prepared to order correctly and properly. The turkey sausage was waaaaaaaay too dry... even at the end of the breakfast time span, meals should be prepared fresh and correctly. This definitely appeared to be turkey sausage cooked long ago and set under a heat lamp to shrivel up and desiccate. Very disappointing. Similarly the roasted potatoes were dry and over cooked... see above. The Greek yogurt was not sweeter enough for my taste. Very little honey on top. But they did provide extra honey with the jam and butter for the toast so I could add more. The berries were fresh and delicious! Overall I would recommend lunch/dinner in room service. Avoid breakfast. And if you want to leave the room; leave the resort and try something different!

The Snowmass Kitchen is the restaurant located at the Westin Snowmass. They are located downstairs…read morewith a great view of the slopes. Breakfast was included in our stay. Everything that they make is cooked to order. They have several breakfast packages. We booked one where we could spend up to $60 per day for 2 people. We weren't sure if the daughter's breakfast was included. At $18 for breakfast, and $5 for a cup of coffee, it was easy to reach $60. The daughter and I had our waiter well trained. He sat us down at a window table every morning and gave us coffee and juice while we waited for the wife's take out breakfast. After the wife's breakfast was done, he allowed us to go deliver the breakfast before coming back and ordering our breakfast. It is better than a typical hotel buffet because everything is cooked to order. You do have a lot more variety than a typical hotel buffet. I got their classic breakfast everyday. They cooked my over medium eggs perfectly. Even though I ordered their classic breakfast everyday, I could try different combos like ham, bacon or sausage. Daughter liked their burritos, and lollipop pancakes. Service was good. Everyone one of the employees working here are foreign students working on their hospitality degrees. They all spoke English pretty well. They came by frequently to check on us, and to fill our glasses with coffee or juice. It's a nice place for breakfast, with a great view out their window. It is way better than a hotel breakfast buffet. The daughter's breakfast was included in our stay. They started our day off right.
