Additionally, they offered to let me come try a different item, and it was SCRUMPTIOUS. It was still on the pricy end, but it's just as indulgent as the price suggests. I visited on a Sunday morning hoping that we would be seated for brunch, but unfortunately they were all booked up and the wait time would be too long, so we did takeout instead. My boyfriend and I wanted to take a chance on their Chef's Choice platter because our friend told us what they got as their Chef's Choice and we were intrigued. Unfortunately our Chef's Choice was kinda disappointing..it was a sausage patty with fried egg on top of a bagel with balsamic glaze drizzled on top and a bunch of microgreens on the side. The taste was decent, but I wish the bagel was toasted and personally didn't feel like it was worth the price of $26. The Cali Bites were pretty good and full of flavor. There was a lot in one order too. My favorite was the Tots and Sausage Sandwich. The brioche bun was soft, the sausage was yummy and my favorite part, the tot patty, had cheese and bacon mixed into the potatoes. The side potatoes were great too but some were undercooked. Had to try their Waffle Cone Latte and it was sweet but still had strong espresso. Make sure you don't pay for the parking lot next to the restaurant! It's free when you go to Locals Only. There's multiple signs saying that, so don't worry about forgetting. Locals Only is a decent spot, but it's also so expensive for what it is. read more

We wanted to love this local restaurant but from our first experience not so much. The ambiance isn't great given the loud music and poor acoustics. It is hard to have a conversation at your table. The menu is varied and our mistake was probably opting for lunch rather than breakfast. We went with the MVO bowl which sounded great on the menu though it lacked flavor. The turkey sandwich got a rave review from our waiter and it was just okay. The side of macaroni salad which also sounded good was cold and mushy. Speaking of wait staff - our waiter was fantastic! Courteous and welcoming with just the right amount of attention. Will we try again? Maybe.... Breakfast looked good at other tables so perhaps.... Enjoy! read more

The place was not clean, including the bathroom. The food was hit and miss. They have a large array of breakfast sandwiches, so I ordered one, and it was definitely above average. The home fries were good, crispy and well seasoned, except the thicker ones which were raw on the inside. My wife got a veggie dish, and that was unpleasant. The vegetables all tasted like they had been frozen or canned, and the grains were overcooked and just mush. I got a latte, it was nice. I think we're just not the target demo. Maybe if you come here to order breakfast and get buzzed on mimosas, then it's your spot. If you're just coming for a booze-free lunch date, maybe not. read more

There are some tables when you walk in and also seating at the bar and upstairs. I was a party of 6 and we would've had to wait longer if we didn't split up so we ended up splitting our party. The staff was very friendly but the food did take quite some time to come since I noticed that there was only one chef cooking everything and another helping with plating and the fryer. A unique option on their menu is the Chef's Choice. It was basically putting the fate of your breakfast in the Chef's hands. I was skeptical cause I read some reviews where people really liked what they got and others on the opposite spectrum. However, I guess we lucked out cause it was perfectly executed. The Chef's Choice that we got came with a huge burrito stuffed with bacon, brisket, red onions, spinach, sundried tomatoes, and topped with 2 eggs covered in some delicious sauce. It also had a side of potatoes which were nice and crispy. It was a great option and I'm glad it turned out so well. I also got the morning glory which came with your choice of 3 eggs, crispy potatoes, and a huge piece of brisket. It looked delicious to the eyes but the brisket was on the dry side and I didn't particularly like the au jus (sauce) that it came with. It didn't pair well with the eggs and potatoes and actually made the otherwise crispy potatoes, soggy instead. I opted for scrambled eggs which were fluffy and tasty. It's a huge portion at $23 but it just wasn't entirely to my taste. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their food, not so much the wait for the food. The biggie fries is also a great option. The fries were very crispy and topped with brisket, bacon, scallions, eggs, and a cheese sauce. I also saw several people get the breakfast burrito which looked tasty. I came in for lunch, the directions are easy to follow for the parking pass. You check in and they give you a parking pass to put in your car and you come back. I grabbed a seat at the bar, ordered a beer and an appetizer before getting back on the road. One thing I noticed is they are progressive and it's in your face, lots of gay flags and their bathrooms say, "whatever". I didn't mind. But I figure I would let it be known. I took a chance on the chef's choice, which is a complete mystery until you get it. It ended up being a sort-of eggs benedict served on mini waffles with blueberry cream. It was pretty good, but actually way too much food (which I guess was to justify the high price). Their coffee is really good, and I liked some of their fun takes on a latte. My partner ordered the tots and sausage sandwich, which she said was just okay, as it felt like it was missing something more to make it less dry and dense. If I could, I'd give Locals Only a 3.5. It's probably one of the better brunch options in the Rochester area, but still just okay. I think I'd only come back if the menu changed and to try some of their bar/cocktail offerings. read more

And who has brunch and doesn't have a mimosa right? They have a few flavors I went for the Guava, grapefruit, peach and Blueberry lavender. Jim's on Main was closed and I found this place. Very nice atmosphere (especially when compared to Jim's:) Menu is small but I found the breakfast burrito to be very good. I stopped in again today for food and got the Bravo Avocado and the Milk and Cookies latte (hot). The Bravo Avocado was so delicious! It was filling without being heavy and the flavors melded perfectly. The tomatoes were sweet and the balsamic vinaigrette added a nice touch. The best part was the crispy toasted sourdough bread on the bottom. The Milk and Cookies latte as even better hot than when I had it iced in the summer.
