Vinny contacted me to let me know that he would be arriving outside of the estimated window so I new that someone was at least on the way. when Vinny arrived he was very professional and courteous. he apologized again for being late, changed my tire and continued to inspect my car for any other issues that may have occurred. he showed me the issue with my tire and also noticed my other front tire had the same issue. The ETA was 45-80 minutes. 75-78 minutes later the ETA said they'd be arriving soon and then it changed to 20 minutes. Once the 20 minutes were up, it changed to 35 minutes. I called and got no answer. Called again and was told that the ETA kept getting pushed back because of snow plows. Once again the ETA says it is arriving soon, and was then pushed back again. They sent a car out from Connecticut to the Bronx which is a just a little over 1.5 hours. I checked the traffic several times and saw that there were no delays despite them saying that there was traffic due to snow plows. My frustration comes from the 2 times where the ETA time reached a point where the arrival said it is arriving soon but instead the time kept getting pushed back. In total it took about 2.5 hours for the assistance to arrive. It that time would have been clear from the beginning I would have had a chance to call my insurance to schedule with someone else. It looks to me (from my experience and other reviews) like they accept all calls regardless of distance and mislead customers and insurance companies with ETA's to secure business. Absolutely horrible experience and I will be submitting a complaint with my insurance company.

The individual who towed my car was very nice and concerned for my safety. It was actively snowing outside and he ensured I got home safely and didn't stand outside in the cold. When my insurance adjustor called the following day to review the estimate on my car, he informed me that my car was being kept indoors and not outside in the snow. The adjustor had gone to other lots in the same day where he had to unearth vehicles from under the snow. While this was my first (And hopefully, only) experience with Mike's, the adjustor told me that anytime he goes to look at a car in their lot, he is impressed with their kindness, promptness and overall care. I spoke with them today when I had to arrange for my car to be towed to a collision center and then person I spoke with was also very friendly and took care of things quickly. Getting into an accident is an inherently crappy situation but it's nice to know there are people out there who can extend grace and kindness during a difficult time!
