It has more meat than you've probably seen anywhere on any sub. Made fresh and excellent. Many places have tried to copy this place but none have succeeded imho. My dad worked there when he was a teen (grew up in Sharpsville before getting married and moving to Warren, Ohio) and because of this, he is picky when it comes to subs. I was here for lunch today for the first time. All the staff that i spoke to were super friendly. It was a little busy due to being the lunch hour. I ordered the Steak Salad. I liked the salad it was super fresh with lots of fresh veggies and FF and lots of steak. I did not like the flavor of the steak, i thought it was a bit bland, but i loved the salad itself, the portion was enormous. I will try a different one next time I go. My co-worker got a half of sub and the portion was also enormous she thought it was great. Save your appetite because they do not skimp on portions. So if you are really hungry this is the place to go. I also ordered Onion Rings and they were very delicious. I would not count this place of your list and challenge you to try a few things on the menu. There was also a huge selection of baked goods that looked delicious, but i was to full to try. I loved the quick friendly service, i loved that you can sit outside or in, plenty of room for everyone. This place was also very clean inside and out. read more

I love a good sub, so I was all-in on visiting Lock Stock & Barrel. It's a place that has been around for a long time, since my Mom was a kid and living in Sharpsville. I have to admit that I've only eaten here twice, and once was so long ago that I barely remember it. I visited a few days ago and got a full-size turkey and ham sub with all the fixins. It was reasonably priced, HUGE, and so delicious. My Dad recommended asking them to cut it in four pieces, which was a very solid suggestion. A large sub is definitely enough to feed two people. I think this is one of the best local places to get a sub in the Sharon/Hermitage/Sharpsville area. Gotta go back next time I'm in town! read more

I ordered something that's my measuring stick for sub joints, a Philly cheese steak, and it honestly was just Steak-ums on a roll with some Cheez Whiz - not that I have anything against the Whiz on a Philly mind you - but there was just nothing worth mentioning about this sandwich. When I get a sub from a place I have this expectation in my mind that the food I'm ordering should be better than a sandwich I could make at home - this place sure didn't live up to that.
