Came here on a Sunday and was able to get a room just for ourselves. Price is around $35 per person which feels a little high but normal for escape rooms. We did the time travel one timeline one and it was pretty fun! Lots of interesting twists and turns and a few cool puzzles. The game master was nice and friendly. They let you ask as many hints as you want but you probably don't need a lot. It is a pretty solid escape room spot! read more

Loved the LockBox escape room! Our Gamemaster was very welcoming and patient throughout the whole escape. We did the Magician one and it was really awesome and creative! I loved all the props and creative tasks needed to complete the puzzles. The Gamemaster was very patient and quick to respond. My only "opinion" is that the Gamemaster would say hints/suggestions without being asked sometimes. I'm a very stubborn escape room person so I like to try/solve as much as I can before being provided additional help, but that is probably me being picky XD Other than that, I had a blast with my group and would love to come back and explore the other rooms that they have!! read more

I definitely recommend Lockbox if you want to do an escape room. They have different scenarios to choose from and a lot of time slots to choose from. It's in a shopping center so there is parking right outside. Staff is friendly and helpful. While you are in the escape room, you can ask for clues if needed, and the game master is watching and will give you a clue if needed. Our game was 60 minutes and it went by really fast. I loved this escape the room It was more fun than it was stressful which I really enjoyed. We did the Magical Emporium and it was so creative and unique! I don't want to say anything to spoil it but the idea that you have to do the magic tricks yourself to escape was so cool! We ended up escaping with 4 minutes to go!! (mind you, we were 2 people) so the more the merrier! I've done escape rooms before and this was the most I've laughed doing one. I cracked up on several occasions while trying to escape because of the tricks and the things inside. It definitely was a lot of fun. Carly (Tosh) was our host and she was lovely. She was funny and friendly The decor was super cute too The only negative comment I would have is that there were several broken pieces and mis aligned things inside the room that got a little in the way. In my opinion this escape room is pricier than most that I've been to (in NYC). I've been to escape rooms that include several rooms. This one was more contained and a little easier in my opinion which in turn did make it more enjoyable. I thought it was a great escape room that ended up being a lot of fun! I am happy we did it! Great for a night out with friends or a fun date night. Their rooms are small but very interactive. Some items did fall off the room - there is a serious need of maintenance and quality control - which slowed down our experience and took some time away from our overall great experience. Located right off 595, this escape room center offers a variety of different style rooms and themes. We have done a few different ones there. Staff is usually helpful and engaging. We most recently did the new Magical Emporium. This was in a different store front a couple doors down. The room seemed a bit smaller than previous ones (we only had four people with us) and the items inside seemed to be a bit worn or mistreated making some of the things you needed to do to escape a bit difficult. Overall I'm sure we will be back but maybe pick a different theme unless you really enjoy magic. read more

Lockbox Escape Room is right off of 595 in Davie. Came with friends and we decided to do the Framed escape room. You have to sign waivers and wait until your whole party is there before you begin. We were in a waiting room but when our group arrived, we had to go out and in through a different door where the escape rooms were. Framed was a pretty easy room and we escaped with about 23 minutes left! Definitely make use of the clues if you get stuck. The staff was super helpful and ready to assist whenever needed. The day of, unfortunately we were unable to count on our people being on time, despite giving them an earlier time slot. The manager was really nice about pushing back our reservation 30 minutes. Finally majority of the people joined by then and we got to it. We did the "Timeline" and our Game Master was Brianna and she was great with giving us clues but not giving too much up. I'm truthfully baffled by the 4.9 this place has as it's a very mediocre at best. The room we played was the magician room and honestly it wasn't great at all. First off yes we did escape so I'm not leaving a bad review because it was hard as it wasn't. It was very poorly designed and felt all over the place. Even some of the room mechanics were broken and the black light we had didn't even work. Just felt really badly maintained as well. Maybe we're just spoiled by going to other escape rooms such as TheEscapeGame, ThinkEscape or Nexus but there's no room progression or anything digital. It felt like I was playing a first rendition of an escape room. There were like 15 locks and like 2 actual puzzles. If you're going to an escape room for your first time please do yourself a favor and try the places I mentioned. They're the same price and are much better in every way. read more

Loves this adventure!! On a whim we decided to do this escape room while on one of my husband's work trip that we extended out for a bit of fun. They are located in a strip shopping plaza and there's plenty of parking. We called ahead and were able to book a room for just a few hours later. They were very accommodating!! When we arrived we were greeted and given a waiver to sign. Then we were taken back to the room for the CIA type mission we chose. The attendant have clear instructions and we were allowed clues. It was just my husband and I so we were a little worried we may not get out. We managed to escape with just a minute and some change left! The clues were fun and imaginative. We did ask for help and were given two clues of the three. You can ask for more but the rule is three for a fair challenge. Wee would definitely do this again if we're in the area next year. Overall: A+ A fun and challenging way to enjoy a chunk of time. It's different and unique! read more

I just want to say Lockbox Escape Room is the best in South Florida! Me and my friends have tried so many but Lockbox is the one we always enjoy the most, we've even completed all the rooms and cannot wait for what else they bring! Tonight we did the Magical Magic Emporium, which was a very cute magical shop and happy to say we graduated the magic academy! This was my 1st escape room experience and I have to admit it was a great time! I was part of a group of 8 and our room difficulty was 7 out of 10. We solved our room in 44 mins. The clues were challenging and the 80's theme was perfect! KJ, our game master, was very friendly, funny, and helpful in explaining the rules and concept. She made the experience even better! Breezy was our Game Master and she kept the game going. I liked this group because you could get as many clues as you wanted. The one escape room that I went to never spoke directly to you and only offered 3 clues on a screen. If it is your first time, I would read up on how to put two and two together or you will get discouraged quickly. Looking forward to going back once the Magical Emporium has found the trick to work. The puzzles are enough that you are on your toes, but not so there is no chance of getting out. We love their new game, the mystical magic emporium! Tosh was a great guide and we graduated apprenticeship! From going back to the 80's, being a CIA agent, breaking your best friend out of prison, being kidnapped by Ted Bundy's best friend or being locked in a magic shop, they have rooms for everyone! The more people you have, the it can get more interesting because every person will find or figure something out. Warning: don't try to unlock anything without a clue.
