The interior had gorgeous furniture and red curtains. We did the Submerged room. The look and feel of it being a submarine was awesome. The puzzles were challenging and fun to solve. I recently came to The One 2 Escape Room with a friend. We both love escape rooms. Really to reinforce how smart we aren't. the Escape room itself was really great. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and you can tell they love working there. The place is decorated with lots of fun paintings and signs and is really set up to reinforce the good time they want you to have. Before entering any room you must sign a waiver if it's your first time and watch an intro video. From there, you'll be taken to your room. We did, "Submerge" a submarine escape room. Since it was a slow day there, we chatted with the employee before playing the game. He is also one of the folks who created the room so I was hoping he'd give us some scoop- he did not. One thing he did mention is that he tries to create the game thinking that not all people coming here will be thinking the same way as he might be (more on that later). Without giving away the clues or game. We had a great time. We finished a little longer than what we wanted to, but for two people, we were proud of ourselves. There were a few times we needed to ask for a clue. Once we were given the clue we realized we would have never have gathered that without their help- harking back to the employee who said he wanted to make games everyone could understand. While the overall game was amazing, I did find one or two things kind of a stretch to figure out without help. No refunds on your schedule but they do allow you to change the date and time if you aren't able to make your originally scheduled plan. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would try another room. I probably won't escape on time when I do it next time, but oh well! read more

What a fun thing to do. But first! If you're a vet, call in advance for a discount. I didn't so meh, no discount. Speaking of which, it's a veteran owned business so if you had two side by side, I'd pick the vet owned since we've got to look out for each other! However, this wasn't why I went. I didn't even know it was vet owned. Nonetheless, with our torrential rain lately, Father's Day was a wash. My daughters and I tried to figure things out to do but just couldn't manage until I ran across 12Escape. It's relatively close and in Davie so it's not going to be too crazy. But be on the lookout...you'll miss it if you blink. We reserved online and the price seems comparable to what others are and maybe mildly higher than high traffic tourist places like Orlando. Chose the Outbreak room because zombies are pretty much the trend for a decade now. We arrived and there's plenty of parking and inside it's really nice. Plus...they sold Dippin Dots! We got our little video brief and then off to the room. It would maybe be easier with all adults. There's 4 of us, two adults and my daughters. Well, oldest is 18, but still! Ones scared, the other one is thinking of Snapchat. Nonetheless, we made it to the next room with 10 mins left and then got stuck. There's a handful of things to figure out and such so it took us maybe a smidge longer than normal folks! The staff was kind enough to walk us through and you kick yourself knowing x meant something and y would've done this or that. But it was definitely a good time. read more

I didn't know there was an escape room so close to me. I have been to an escape room only once, but not in the US. When I saw this one near me, I read the theme of the rooms and really wanted to try it out! The place is pretty small on the inside, and it is located on a small road and it is easy to miss the turn when trying to find the place. The place requires a reservation, so my friends and I made a reservation the night before. My friends and I decided to do the Quarantine room. The set up and level of difficulty of the room really put our minds to the test. We all had a lot of fun trying to find all the clues. The only thing about the room was that there were only two rooms to break out of. We were expecting about 3 or 4 rooms. Because of it being only two rooms, there were so many clues and about 5 or so different locks in one room, which made it a bit overwhelming for one room. Nonetheless, my friends had a great time and we made it out with about 15 minutes to spare. We may come back and try the Kidnapped theme room next! read more

My friends and I randomly decided to do an escape room and was scavenging the internet for one that wasn't already fully booked and also wasn't too expensive. We came across this location so decided to book it and try it out. We got a reservation for 839 and headed over. There was one guy working there who was nice but you can tell it had been a long day. He had us pay and asked us if we wanted to be scared during the experience and we said yes. He walked us in and explained the rules and then left. The experience itself was lackluster. It was 2 rooms and honestly 95% of the puzzles were locks. I had never seen so many locks. I have done other escape rooms were there were other types of puzzles to do but this one was just code after code. There was no intro to the room, we only knew the "plot" because we read it on the website but others I've been to explained the story or showed a video. The tv in our room was broken so there was no timer, he told us to use our phones for a timer. One of the switches on one of the puzzles were broken as well. We made it out and I jokingly told him it wasn't scary and he said he forgot to scare us.. we had wound up going to this specific one because we wanted to be scared so that was a bit of a letdown. I can't see us coming to this one again unfortunately. read more

I went to a different escape room and they didn't have space so I called here and spoke to one of the girls. She said sure come on over. When I got there the game master was super nice maybe her name was kiki. Idk I am bad with names sorry. We got in paid which Id like to say a fair price most games rooms are over priced! This one was under 28.00 and it was so much fun! Plus it was clean! Its not in a busy area which is nice! No paying for parking or parking on the street its right off the turnpike I will be back! The escape room was great! The puzzles were very complex. However, there were a few things that i felt could be improved on. there was no timer in the room telling us how much we had left, it was completely silent. No intro video, no sound effects, no music no nothing. Also, the employee helping us didn't seem like she even wanted to be there- no enthusiasm, didn't scare us even though it was a labeled a "scare room"- it just wasn't FUN. Again, the escape room was well thought out, but i believe with better employees and better effects it would've been better. read more

What a great way to celebrate a birthday! This was a blast. They had cool and unique escape rooms and the option to be scared by the staff though one of them. It made it very realistic and a lot of fun. The facility was clean and the staff was very helpful and nice. The escape room was a little fun and all but when we asked for a hint they would just repeat how to so the task we just finished. If we needed help with a task, the helper would only explain what it is your looking at which didn't help us. This is the 13th escape room that we have been to and so far the most disappointing one. Our helper would take about 30 seconds to respond and would explain little to nothing about how to solve something. They sometimes even would take a while to remember. Also, when we had only 5 minutes left, our helper said that she had to wait 10 minutes for advice. The worst part is that when the timer ended, we asked our helper what we could do to solve the room and they didn't even know what we were supposed to do. In every escape room I have been to, you feel either happy or angry that you didn't escape but it was still fun. This was just disappointing. read more

This review is coming from someone who has done 20+ escape rooms all around Florida: I booked this place about an hour before the scheduled available time and it was accommodated, which is rare because escape rooms tend to require advanced booking, so we were extra pumped to be accommodated for. My siblings and I did the Kidnapped room, and as a lover of true crime but absolute hater of scary movies, this room did scare the crud out of me but it was very mentally stimulating and I'm guessing the adrenaline rush helped all of us to escape in a record time! This room was very well thought out and we all enjoyed playing it, definitely one of the better escape rooms I've played. Can't wait to try this place out again! read more

I've done an escape room once before and we were a group of 8. Some of us have never done it before but this experience was awesome. I don't normally write reviews but the experience from customer service to the escape room was fun. We're from ATL and being able to have a private experience in an escape room and having fun with family has been one of the greatest times we've had in awhile (because of COVID). Came here to celebrate my boyfriend's graduation from college. Had the best time ESCAPING from being KIDNAPPED! We made it out of the escape room with time to spare thanks to the amazing staff working on Saturday night. Best Escape Room experience. Surprised husband for his 30th Birthday! We had 5 couples so a total of 10 people. I rented the party room which is awesome if you wanna have some drinks or food before you begin the escape. I brought my own decorations for the party room which looked great! And also brought our own drinks including a drinking game. We decided to split the teams women v. men. The girls did the Heist room and the guys did Quarantine (same level of difficulty). Of course the women won, with 13 min left on the clock! The guys finished with about 6 min on the clock. These rooms really put your brain to work! I could not believe how much fun we all had! All I can say is THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX!! The staff and owner are very accommodating and friendly! Highly recommended. We will be coming back to experience the other rooms. read more

This was my first experience with an escape room and it was fun! We did the Heist. It was me, my husband and two kids. We were able to escape the room with 10 minutes left. We went on a Tuesday and it was empty. We had the room to ourselves which was nice. I think it would be too crowded if there were 8 people. I will definitely be back to try one if the other rooms. read more

The staff here is wonderful, very kind an attentive. But the rooms are pretty mediocre. The quality of the rooms aren't the best. And the story line that we tried (the kidnapped one) was very boring. I have been to escape rooms that keep you hooked from start to finish, but this was definitely not it. The room was also just not scary at all like we expected it to be. We've been in scary rooms before and this was not it. The puzzles were either super easy, or completely didn't make sense at all. The puzzles mostly just didn't have any guidance or meaning, like there was literally no point in them. Also the door in the second room was broken. So when we spent 10 minutes on the last puzzle trying to figure out why it wasn't working, we asked for a hint. Turns out we had the answer correct, the door just didn't buzz open because it was open the whole time. Another thing is, there is hardly no AC in there. By the end of the game I was just so frustrated and hot that I couldn't wait to just finish to get out. Which has to be the WORST thing that can happen in an escape room because you paid to be in there for an hour. It's happened before, and honestly it's the worst. Honestly I wouldn't come back here. I do wish the owners the best because they are a small business, but they just need to go to other escape rooms to learn and figure out how to make these rooms better and more entertaining. For that price, i felt it was ridiculously overpriced for the game we played. I've played $35 escape rooms with 3-4 doors that open and more interesting puzzles. Here, we got 1 door (2 rooms) and a very dull game, not to mention no ac. read more

Keep looking there's better escapes rooms out there. I wish I could give this place 5 stars but I can't. Almost every puzzle in the room was broken! Everything that was magnetic was broken and the front desk guy had to keep coming in to help us. Then one of the locks were broken too. When we walkie the guy he told us it' is messed up and we have to squeeze it and mess with it to open it. Even though we had the correct code. When we complained at the end, he said there was nothing he could do. My advice is spend your money on a better place with better quality stuff and better customer service. read more

Worst escape room I've ever been too. Out of the 30+ escape rooms I've done this is the only one that I haven't been pleased with. We had to wait 25 mins to get a hint as our walkie talkie wasn't working & when the girl fixed it she was basically blaming us. Not to mention 4 out of the 6 people had to come out and ask for help before anyone came. The customer service was terrible, when we escaped no one was there. She didn't offer to take us a pic or anything as they normally do after escape rooms. I will definitely not be returning here or recommending it to anyone. read more

I was skeptical, especially pulling into the parking lot, but man this was a blast. We were a group of 5, 3 generations and did 2 rooms (60 min). This place sucked! Our tv didn't work the whole time which meant we couldn't even see the introduction of our mystery. The walkie talkies we had to communicate with the staff didn't work either. We had no idea how much time we had left or how many clues we needed to figure out. We had to walk out of the room to get help because we were given a code incorrectly TWICE!!! We did an escape room a few weeks ago (lockbox escape) and they were amazing! We thought this place would be cool too. WRONG!!!! Never again. read more
