We've tried all 3 rooms here and each one is a ton of fun! Cryptic Cay had actual sand on the floor and there were a few rooms within it. Part of a plane is even one of the props! Escape Your Nightmares was a more interactive game experience which we prefer over rooms with mainly locks! Get ready for some jump scares though! Polly's Problematic Predicament had a lot of locks, but also a number of interactive games so it was a good balance. This is a room for open-minded people. It's full of toys, but not the kind that kids play with All of the rooms are fun, challenging but not impossibly difficult. My family and I had a 5 star experience here at Nexus Escape Room. Vedha was our game host and she was so wonderful. She was really sweet and upbeat and made us feel comfortable and excited for our experience. We did Cryptic Cay and were really impressed! It was challenging but not too challenging where we might get frustrated and give up. Towards the end we did start to run out of time and had to get hints to finish in time, lol. Really fun puzzles. Unique, really well thought-out rooms that were challenging but fun. Everything worked well (sometimes other escape rooms have some mechanisms that don't work quite right and cause confusion). Lots of custom mechanics and great game masters that really keep a close eye on things and keep the game moving. Could really tell that a ton of effort went into both the planning and execution. Love love love this place! I've done Cryptic Cay and Escape Your Nightmares, and both were great. I've done a lot of escape rooms, and these do not disappoint. The puzzles are interesting and a good level of difficulty, and the rooms are set up with care and innovation. Our host Lyn was amazing and made the experience that much better. The Nightmare room was fun, and we completed it with only 2 of us, although the scares definitely add a whole new aspect to the game. You get unlimited hints which is nice for when you get stuck. This place is amazing! First, I want to give so much credit to the owners of the business for taking time to make their props that they use in the rooms. Besides having some really unique locks in the room, all props used are handmade or have you thinking where could you find such a prop like this. My husband, sister and I have done about 14 escape rooms, each having something special about them. And this was definitely the props. The theme of the escape room was fun, challenging and that moment that you're thinking "DUHHHHHHHHHHHHH" and keep going lol. I would recommend this escape room for anyone and everyone. Stumbled upon this GEM in Pembroke Pines today.... owners are husband and wife and have done an AMAZING job with making the room challenging, fun, and beautifully decorated. They currently only have one room due to the fact they just opened yesterday, but what a entertaining room it was - AND we escaped. Hands down one of our favorites coming from a couple who has done 50+ rooms. Great location in Pines. We will DEFINITELY be back. Looking forward to their future rooms! What a great experience! Took my daughter and her 2 friends here for a birthday activity and Nexus didn't disappoint. The husband and wife owners are fantastic, awesome..great!...I can't say enough about them. They answered all.my questions and concerns about thier cleaning policy and about each room. Lauren text me all the information so I could share with the parents of my friends...so that they could understand that they're serious about cleaning and following state guidelines. Once we arrived, her husband greeted us (wearing a mask) and began giving us the rules. I decided to do the Nightmare escape room and it was epic. Lots of interaction within the room and everyone was having fun! The girls were teens so they could handle all the scary stuff happening in the room. Nexus escape rooms is an awesome place. My group originally had 4 people going but 2 had to cancel at the last minute. We called ahead and asked if the rooms could still accommodate 2 people. The staff was friendly and assured us that while difficult, 2 people could still successfully solve all the riddles and make it through the rooms. They will give you more than 3 clues, unlike most other places, and our room host was attentive and always ready with a useful clue when we needed him. We chose to do the "nightmares" room. It was easily the scariest room I have ever done. There were several jump scares which really added to the overall experience. There were also excellent props and the ambiance of the room was great. It's not a room that just has lock puzzles. Great special effects and problem solving is required. We needed 4 clues since we only had 2 people and we made it out with about a minute to go. There was not one puzzle in the entire room that felt broken and we could have solved them all without help, but we made some "dumb" mistakes. Great room, great host, great price, and overall great experience. I highly recommend this place and I've done about 10 different rooms so far. WAY TO GO NEXUS! read more

Such a fun experience! Definitely recommend. It's such a creative little fun place owned by the sweetest couple. It's challenging but doable, very advanced technology wise, and super interactive making you feel more involved in the game. As mentioned before, the owners are very sweet and they explain the rules in detail and help you along the way if it's needed but they give you the option whether you want the help or not. Price is affordable and worth it for the experience plus the videos and pictures (with props!!) the owners kindly include with just the entrance price. The option for a private game with just your friends and family is also available at no extra charge, making them stand out since not many escape room places do this! The staff is friendly and very personable. The rooms are well planned out and the mix of technology with your mental ability is pretty awesome.
