She is extremely friendly, personable and pays attention to details. My friends and family all gushed over my hair and make-up and wanted to know where I had gotten it done. Throughout the night as we went to different bars and lounges, I received several compliments. I'm definitely keeping her information for future use. Danielle is a very talented hair stylist and make-up artist that I've been to for over a year now for various services. For hair, I go to her for color (full and partial weaves), keratin treatments, cuts and styling and she does an awesome job every time. For make-up, she did a trial and full makeup and up-do for my bridal shower which I got tons of compliments on :) The salon is very cute. There is coffee, water, and snacks if you have to wait :) Prices are extremely reasonable especially considering the time and effort she puts into her work. My initial goal was to get my dark brown hair to a silver/grey. I came to Danielle a little over 2 months ago with what I was hoping for. During my consultation she let me know what we were going to have to go through in order to achieve the color. I already knew, straight off the bat that she was extremely knowledgable. Long story short, it took 3 sessions to get to the color I wanted. Danielle was able to break through and give me exactly what I was looking for! She was extremely patient, and easy to talk to. By far one of the sweetest, most passionate hair dressers I have ever met. She listens to everything you have to say, and does anything possible to make your vision a reality. She pays attention to detail, and takes so much time to make sure everything is in tact. I especially appreciated that she was extremely careful throughout the bleaching process. Danielle is truly amazing! Not only did she accommodate 2 blowouts at the last minute, but she did it on a Sunday. She was incredibly upbeat and fun and listened to all of our requests. Both myself and the bride-to-be have very fine, silky hair, which makes it difficult to get it to hold any type of curl. Danielle knew exactly what to do and got both of our heads of hair to cooperate (and made it look easy, to boot). The space was very nicely decorated and we were offered snacks and beverages and we felt very comfortable during our appointment. We received endless compliments at the bridal shower we were attending and I recommended Danielle to several people at the shower. I was referred to Danielle by another hair stylist, to do my makeup for my wedding. The trial went ok, I really loved Danielle's personality and wanted her to be there on my wedding day. My makeup turned out perfectly, as well as my mother's and bridesmaids'. She is extremely friendly and talkative and I thought I would come to her for my hair. She updated the blonde ombre/bayalage in my hair and it turned out great. I saw her again recently, wanting to go a little bit darker, toward getting my hair back to its natural color. While she was updating my highlights/roots, she got a little carried away while we were talking, and put a lot more bleach/blonde in my hair than I had originally showed her a photo of. This also made our time together go a lot longer than planned, but my hair turned out amazing in the end. I found Danielle through a Groupon looking for a really specific hairstyle and color. I was looking for an undercut with bangs, basically straight from a photo I presented to her. (She replicated the hairstyle and made it look even better than the photo!) I have never been so content with a hairstyle until I met Danielle. I had a bad prior experience with a hair stylist about a year ago, it scarred me to the point where I avoided salons for a while. I saw Danielle's work online on Yelp and I was pretty impressed with her work. When I went into the salon in person she was even more helpful and accommodating than what I read about her in the reviews. She would frequently ask me during the haircut if I was happy with the length, if I wanted it shorter, if my hair resembled how I envisioned it, etc. She is extremely considerate and best of all, she really and truly loves her work. I don't see that too often at hair salons, since it sometimes feels like the customers are just cash cows.
