Luckily got it out Dealerships rip u off to make another key The owner of the store took my destroyed key and was able to give me a new fob and put the necessary parts back together , i also had another key made . Both keys together were priced way below what 1 at the dealership would have cost. The service and honesty were more than 5 stars!!! This is what u get when u use a mom and pop shop. House door latch failed. I called on a Saturday morning and he was able to come at midday. He was efficient and clean. He fixed the latch and noticed that the deadbolt didn't turn easily, so fixed that as well. I had lived with the deadbolt since door install and was used to the tightness. I had a brand new doorknob and deadbolt installed recently for what I considered to be a premium $ cost. Shortly after the install, both started to fail. I paid for 2 extra key copies as well, and neither of them worked. Brought them back to be re-cut, and they still didn't work. When I called the owner, Brian, to see if he could help resolve the issue, he told me "Sorry, I don't guarantee my work past 90 days". Well that's convenient. He was very rude and wanted to charge me $95 minimum to come back and fix his failed install. At the time he sold me on this being a longer term solution than what I currently had, and now he's telling me that I need to spend even more money to completely redo everything. No thanks. Plenty of other locksmiths in the area, do yourself a favor and try somewhere else... read more

First off if you bring a product you bought online and not from the business you brought it to you shouldn't blame the business if it doesn't work or the price. If you buy a egg sandwich and it doesn't taste good do you blame the the farm that produced the egg? Have nothing but low expectations and got the greatest results. They turned the impossible into the possible. Not a lot of places out there can fix old car locks. You goto there once and you'll go there forever. I needed a doorknob for a new door we installed in our home. I called Locks Unlimited because I had heard excellent raves from several friends. It wasn't a rush or emergency, but kismet was on my side, Brian was able to come within an hour. He is an amiable fellow, pleasant and cheerful. He installed the knob. He had to drill the hole for the knob a little lower than where the original catch plate was, leaving the former hole up higher. He puttied the old hole for me, noticed that the doorknob on our bathroom was upside down and fixed that for me too! Now the bathroom door doesn't push open (even when locked) anymore. He chatted as he cleaned up after himself and then gave me a bill that was fair and competitive. We own our own business and I often give recommendations for companies that I come into contact with that do a great job. Locks Unlimited is at the top of the AAA list! read more

Went there to have a car key cut and two house keys made for $38 when the guy was finished he says" next time only cash as those belong to you not my merchandise." WTF?! No you just made $38 dollars for 3 minutes work and 2 twenty cent keys. I wish he'd said it before we paid. You blew any potential future business or referrals because you want to save 50 cents.
