So doing an evening tour of Fells Point's haunted history felt like a no-brainer. And it proved to be a great time from start to finish. The first thing that I grew to appreciate was the professional service that I experienced long before I even started the tour. I had originally scheduled myself for a Wednesday night, but scoring a good deal on a concert ticket had me needing to make a change, and the people that I spoke with on the phone were super accommodating in doing so with ease. Long before the tour started, our guide proved to be super helpful and informative with the details that he texted about the tour. I wish our tour guide's name didn't escape me, because I loved how informative and in character he was, and also how personable and familiar he was with the staff at the places that we visited. Fell's Point is a super historical town that even has the founding family buried on the street that they lived on, and even has the last bar that Edgar Allen Poe visited before his death. It's the perfect location for a ghost tour, and we had the right person giving it. The dad jokes were on point, and I even got to hold an EKG meter outside one of the most haunted buildings in the area. Overall, whether you're a fan or believer of the paranormal, or someone just looking for an outside-the-box tour while traveling, this is a tour that I'd recommend!

This station services the commuters of Baltimore working in Washington DC. It also makes stops at several towns along the route. One way ticket costs $8. The small lobby was clean and well lit at night. Only problem is the limited operating hours. The last train leave Baltimore to DC at 8:05 a.m. The 1st train leaves DC at 4:13 p.m. for commuters going home. There are no services in between those two times. If you plan accordingly, it is a cheap way to travel to DC from Baltimore for sight touring.

So I've been thoroughly sick of the Penn Line here recently - the trains are always breaking down,…read morelate, etc. I decided to attempt getting to work on the Camden line instead; it turns out that it's actually better for me in some ways. The Camden MARC station is right on the back end of the Light Rail - all I have to do is hop off the train in the morning, and there I am, no walking, no inconvenience. There's only two tracks, so the train will come in on one or the other. There's a small waiting room for those who don't want to freeze to death. And the conductors seem to be a lot friendlier on this line as well, so that's a plus. There are a couple of negatives that prevent this from being a 5-star review: - The Camden line itself doesn't run enough trains. There's maybe 4 or 5 in the morning, 3 at night - that's it. I'm surprised, as this line goes through Laurel, which is really heavily populated. - The Camden line runs those awful single-level cars where everyone's squished into their seats. It's rare to get a bi-level car, but when you do, there's nothing better. This line is much quieter than Penn (despite having almost as many passengers) and, in my opinion, better run. If it was convenient to me in the afternoon I'd use it (unfortunately it takes twice as long to get home), but for the morning run it's perfect - I get off at Greenbelt, transfer to the Green line on WMATA, that's it - no more fussing around at Union Station trying to fight the masses on the Red line.... Love me some Camden.

When participants were pinned against rocks or stranded in strong currents, there was no staff to assist. ​Inadequate Instruction & Extreme Strain: Relying solely on arm paddling through boulder gardens offers minimal control and quickly causes physical exhaustion, even for fit individuals. ​Equipment Failures: Some tubes were punctured by sharp rocks, leaving guests stranded in turbulent water with no emergency extraction protocol. Commercial river outfitters have a basic duty of care to provide essential protective gear, clear instruction, and active supervision. I told him I had a confirmation number and had booked in July. He seemed unconcerned and only asked if I had prepaid. He said he checked his schedule and there was no record of my confirmation. Later that day, I emailed him his email he had sent me. Of course no reply. This cost me a lot of extra money as my bridal party had to take cabs. Very unprofessional. Please do not use this service.
