I think it's fair to start with the positives! We loved our room, rock walls, beautiful fireplace, several decks, and our bed was unbelievably comfortable. We really enjoyed the room. I think what was difficult to reconcile is that it's advertised as "luxury bed and breakfast". It's definitely not luxury, in any respect. I'd call it well appointed rustic , but not luxury. The shower was fine but lots of rust stains, a found an ant trap on the floor in the bathroom. There was a juice cleanse retreat happening there at the time and we appeared to be the only guests not in the juice cleanse. Which just made things feel a bit awkward. I hate to say this because everyone was so nice and sweet but, the food is not good. We only had one breakfast during which our waitstaff was children (around 10 years old) and we only had one option: spinach omelette and cinnamon raisin toast. It was okay, but it's something I could make at home easily. The next morning we came back for breakfast and sat around for 20 minutes until someone came out and asked if we were there for breakfast. We told her we were and she said she didn't know but she could "whip something up". We took it as a sign to just go grab something local. Unfortunately I'm kind of bummed by our stay. For the price we could have stayed at L'Auberge and had true luxury and five start food. Keep in mind this is perfect as a wellness retreat or quiet and quaint for meditation. But I would not stay here for luxury by any means. read more

First of all, it's during the plandemic so I understand all the precautions however... Not one employee including the chef was wearing a mask. There are signs everywhere stating mask are required. Room. We stayed in the Red Rock Suite, visually unappealing based on the exploding palette of colors; nothing matched. Bed. 4" foam topper made it way to soft to sleep and the head board banged the wall every time you'd roll over. Imagine what happened during romantic times. Floor. Painted tile so it easily comes off and stuck to your feet and then of course gets in the bed. Rugs were very dated and stained. Location. The rooms location is right next to the office so every time you open your door, the employees are sitting or standing right there. Every window including the four in the bathroom, are facing a common area. Hot tub. The description leads you to believe the hot tub is private. There is zero privacy and it's approximately 20' out of the bathroom door in a common area. It is a wellness retreat and not at all a "romantic getaway"! read more

Stayed here on a Saturday night, having made the reservation through American Express Travel. Overall, it's a quant place to stay that's a bit removed from the typical hustle and bustle of Sedona during tourist seasons. The rooms were simple, but nice and clean. All the amenities needed are included. While it's a BnB, we did not choose to eat breakfast here, so I can't speak to the quality of the food. The staff did a great job of satisfying a request for some additional items in the room upon our arrival. read more

This place was interesting little place. The pictures are deceiving as this place looks luxurious on yelp and it is more like staying at your Grandmothers old cricketie home. Just know you can find some R & R here just in more of an awkward atmosphere. The check in was weird as they acted as if I was not there for 10 minutes while they continued their conversation. Then a younger kid gave us a weird tour and showed us our room. Then said do you want me to grab your bags.... The Upside the breakfast was amazing!! This place threw us off as everything is just a bit different. For the price we paid I just believed this place to be more then it appears in the pictures. It is out dated, and deceiving. read more

This place is unethical. They take your money almost charging you $700/night. No directions, no access to anything. no Support. No daily meditation or yoga as they said on the phone. They offer cooking classes when people are water fasting! Really?? What good does that do? They are not even eating. Like I said Zero follow-ups from the Dr. We just stay in our room & drink water on our own. No one checked upon us. My husband was just throwing up in the room for 3 days & WE WERE NEGLECTED after promising medical supervision. So, my question what are you charging me $700/ night for? It's not a 7 or even 5-star facility. There is NO medical supervision or at least we didn't get it until the 4th day we asked to leave & asked for a refund. Staff is rude & insulting as evidenced by both the manager Ryan & his sidekick LAUGHING while were frustrated & felt cheated. I am not even exaggerating. And, heard similar complaints from other attendees that staff is not even nice here & they looting others money. Please please keep your money because they have a NO refund policy plus you're on your own. We learned this hard lesson after spending very hard-earned money for which they had no remorse took ZERO responsibility for their NEGLECT. Please take your business & money somewhere else where you will taken care of & they deserve your business. Feel free to contact me for full experience before you think of investing with them. Absolutely my FAVORITE FAVORITE Labyrinth spot in Sedona. It's big, easy to get to, free parking, also has a yert and medicine wheel. They have a retreat center I have not stayed in yet or used, but I really love it and want to try them out on my 2020 #IgniteYourLIfe retreat, perhaps?? That said, it's great to stop by, walk the Laby, maybe hangout in the Medicine Wheel, etc. I highly recommend coming here. read more

I had always wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast, and this B&B was everything I wanted and more. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The amenities are great. The breakfast was delicious. And the surrounding area was beautiful. I booked the room through their website for the 4th of July weekend. Their rooms are all discounted for Sunday through Thursday nights. So we stayed there on Sunday for $99 in the Sky Dance room. It was the best deal I could find at any bed and breakfast in the area. We were driving down from Las Vegas when we realized that we wouldn't make it in time for the time we said we'd check in. The lady I spoke to was so kind and told me that it was no problem: she would just leave the keys and welcome back at the front door for me. And sure enough when we got there, our keys were waiting with detailed instructions about how to get to our room and information about the lodge. Our room was quaint and simple. I loved the earthy and homey decor. It's unfortunate that we only got to stay there for one night. In the morning we were served breakfast, which was freshly prepared right in the kitchen in front of our eyes. It was so fresh and delicious - better than any hotel breakfast you can get. I would love to stay at the Lodge again. Exploring Sedona was one of the most memorable vacations my boyfriend and I had. I hope we get to visit again! read more

We ordered through PRICELINE - a room w/ a jacuzzi tub, king-size bed. We walked into a room with a bathroom so small that 2 people could not stand in it at the same time. The small old shower was behind the door and you literally had to almost be sitting on the toilet to open the door. No one was there when we checked in (they sent us an email saying that someone would only be there to check us in between 3 pm-5 pm. We showed up at 3:45- no one was there- office was dark, no notes. I tried to call- no answer. As I was about to leave- there was a small note to the right of the door to leave that said that we could pick up our keys on the side table by the door. Got our keys with a letter that said check-out time was now an hour earlier than what Priceline had advertised. Got to our room- and my stomach immediately got a knot. I could not find the bathroom- thought we did not get one; then saw it behind the entrance to the room. Started to unpack when we saw the first hairs on the pillows on the bed. Then more hairs. Several long black hairs (I'm blonde and mu husband shaved his head). We pulled back the covers to reveal even more- There had to be over 60 long black hairs. I was sickened. At the bottom of the bed were red stains- I was so grossed out I just wanted to get out of there. I called the phone number for the front desk- No Answer- pushed button to leave a message- hung up on me. Called again- the same thing. Called 2nd number for emergencies - No Answer- Left a Message. We went to dinner- a few hours later- getting closer to dark- still no answer. Called again. Nothing. We ventured downstairs to look for clean sheets. We found some cabinets with sheets in them. Not the right size sheets and not blankets, but we grabbed what looked to be cleaned to make a makeshift bed. We sanitized the room and bed with Clorox wipes- put the small sheets to cover the bottom and each had a small sheet to cover up with. That's how we spent our 2 nights. When we came down, there was no management there. The only people we saw who "worked there" were 2 young girls probably around 11-13 years old. They brought us breakfast the first morning. I don't think they spoke much English and we did not want to complain to children. So Disappointed in PRICELINE for advertising and promoting a trashy place like this. We called Priceline to share, and they said they reached out to The Lodge people (after several, several attempts) and they told them that we never called or told them anything was wrong. And get this- the trash room we were baited into- when I looked at the Lodge website was $30/night cheaper than what Priceline charged us. read more

We booked our room via Groupon and had hoped for a bed and breakfast type cabin feel in the middle of nowhere out in Sedona. So, that is the only reason I did not rate the Lodge a 5...because it was strange to pull off one of the main roads in Sedona, pull through a church parking lot, and then into the gravel road/lot for the Lodge. That threw us off a bit. It was nice and quiet though and once we were in our room we felt like we were away from everyone else at least. But once you walk in through the entrance to the lobby/office area it feels much more rustic and homey. Our room was off the main dining room area, so that weirded us out a little bit. The room has a very cabin like feel with a fireplace and a big king bed with a quilt. But it looked a little bit more like a hotel room than a sort of bed and breakfast type room. We were pleasantly surprised by breakfast though! The chef makes gourmet meals each morning that differ from the day before. On our one and only morning stay we woke up to scrambled eggs with pesto, super super delicious breakfast potatoes with peppers, and then a blackberry bread pudding. I don't think we will stay again, but that's only because we are looking for more of a out away from the main road type spot. read more

Loved this place! We stayed here the weekend of March 18th for our first anniversary. Getting into town traffic was painfully slow and we worried we would not be able to get to Elote (restaurant) if we stopped to check in at the The Lodge. We called ahead and were assured that our keys would be waiting for us whenever we did actually arrive. The room was super nice! No complaints at all! The breakfast served was great and the staff made accomodations for us to have breakfast in our room as it was our anniversary. We would definately stay here again! read more

Stayed here with my husband for our anniversary. We only stayed one night, but I loved the place! It was more like a hotel than a B&B, which is what I thought we were getting. When we checked it, we got a quick (as in very fast) tour of the breakfast area, game/TV room and our room. Which was fine, I don't need to see the entire building. We stayed in the Whispering Wind room and it was very nice. We had a fireplace, flat screen TV and a pretty large jacuzzi tub. We also had our own private patio with a separate entrance so we could come and go without having to walk through the rest of the place. They had snacks out all afternoon, but we left to go shopping after we checked in, so we didn't get to taste any of them. Breakfast the next morning was good though. There was coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice set up when we went in. Also yogurt and granola. We like the fact that we had from 8-9:30 to eat instead of having a set time to be in the dining room. Our server brought us some kiwi and grapes before bringing out breakfast. That was a souffle of eggs, spinach, mushrooms and goat cheese. Roasted potatoes and bacon served on the side. Good, however I wish you had a option to leave out ingredients if you don't want them. I'm not a fan of mushrooms at all, so I had to pick them out as I went. The only negative besides the breakfast option would have to be the shower. It took absolutely forever for the water to heat up, and while I was in the shower, it kept going from freezing cold to scalding hot. That was the quickest shower I think I've ever taken. I couldn't deal with the constantly changing temperatures! All in all it was a good stay and I would go again. Nice place, nice people, clean rooms and good food. It's also close to the shopping in uptown Sedona and Tlaquepaqe - those are just a short drive away. read more

I'll start with a positive, the breakfast at the Lodge is amazing! My husband was a little worried about the gluten free, vegetarian menu but we both really enjoyed our breakfasts both mornings of our stay. The cons: There was roof construction during the duration of our two night stay and we were staying on the top floor (aka nearest the roof) and there was no mention of this when we booked. When we checked in on our first afternoon, we had driven about eight hours and desperately wanted a nap. It was pretty impossible to nap with roof workers literally right outside of our window banging their hammers. The workers left at sundown basically and started around 9-10am in the morning. The whole point of a b&b is to relax, not get up too early and chill around your room and it felt awkward (and loud) being in our own room during the day with the work going on. Not to mention we basically had to leave our curtains shut all day for privacy, so, no pretty view! Our room was cozy but the bed was pretty bad. It wasn't comfortable at all and anytime we moved an inch, it would creak. We were also placed in a room that was $10 less per night than the room we booked through Expedia. I didn't realize the discrepancy until we were already settled into our room for the evening and thought "oh, no problem I am sure they'll refund us the $20 no problem." When I inquired about the discrepancy at check out, she acted really confused and asked where I had booked. When I let her know I had booked through Expedia, she let me know there was nothing she could do since it wasn't their system. She also let me know that they rooms were completely comparable. Ok? Why advertise a room at a higher rate if it isn't actually worth more money then? Nothing else was said or done to try and make up for it which was disappointing. Overall, it is a lovely property and the food was good but the customer service and tranquility was severely lacking for me for the amount of money we paid. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lodge at Sedona! It is tucked away behind the busy streets of Sedona in a completely secluded and quiet area. The grounds are expansive and incredibly relaxing. The room was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the company of those you are traveling with. Most impressive was the morning breakfast! The chefs at The Lodge are extremely talented. We stayed for two nights and both breakfasts were two of our favorite meals while on our trip. Also, don't let the "vegetarian breakfast" dissuade anyone... My husband is close to carnivorous, but really enjoyed the breakfast too! Also, Leah who works there is WONDERFUL!!!!! She really helped make our stay enjoyable. read more

I am struggling here on this review. My husband and I are seasoned travelers both domestically and internationally. We love B&Bs and nice hotels and cherish the unique options in both. First, the grounds are beautiful, clean, and private. It is beautiful. We were so impressed. We checked in and were shown around by the owners seeming 12 year old daughter. I was shocked. She did a fabulous job but my alarm as a teacher for 30 yrs went off. Little did I know she and her much younger sister would be serving us food each morning and our waitresses. No adults. They were inside supervising the children. This is not right. Young children should not be working in substitution of hiring staff. Moving on.... no meat with breakfast, no choices and small portions. Breakfast is 830-930 so if an early riser or need to get out early, there is no Option. Our room (Eagles Nest) was at the far end, no view, no balcony and the smallest hotel room I have ever been in. No closet. No Regrigerstor. No iron. Incredibly small sink area. The room was cleaned daily which was a plus as most hotels are not doing this right now. We could not get the AC to work correctly (shut down at night) and the toilet was incredibly low to the floor. My husband (6'2") kept hitting his head on the sloping ceiling in our very small room and, if you are a smoker, the only place allowed is quite a walk out on edge of property on a swing. And... hypocrisy. My husband and I don't care who is and isn't wearing a mask but we were informed we had to and witnessed most ppl working there without masks. We would not stay again. read more

Sorry to ruin the average here... but maybe it would have been higher if they actually let us in to stay there... we showed up with our baby daughter and were turned away after we drove all the way up there & had reservs bc they don't allow kids. They told us it says so on the website but obviously not prominently enough since we didn't see it when we booked. Later, we want on to check and it does say it in super fine print - easily missable. Didn't help that the old lady at reception referred to my baby -as "it"!!! Blessing in disguise though bc we ended up at L'auberge where you can live, breathe and revel in your offspring freely! The double B (B&B - duh!) usually evokes images of old-fashioned hospitality, pink rooms with quilted bed-covers and flowery wallpaper, a ever chatting host and weird, uncomfortable breakfast around the communal table. The Lodge doesn't fall in that category. Our friends had the wonderful idea of offering us a gift certificate from bedandbreakfast.com for our wedding last year. We waited, and waited and when we decided to take our trip to Arizona, I knew it was the perfect occasion to use it. Sedona sounded like the perfect location for a much belated honeymoon. The Lodge immediately stood out. The propriety is large and stands on more than 2 acres of beautiful gardens dominated by pine trees. The landscaping is just impressive. And the inn itself is built in a very elegant Arts&Craft style - warm and welcoming. Very B&B - but in the best of ways. Our room was detached and had a beautiful private balcony with Adirondack chairs. The Prairie Ranch Suite has all the amenities you can dream about - and a wonderful jet tub.....that I highly recommend after a long day of hiking.... Comfortable bed, nice bath products, a fireplace, free wifi, TV, stereo....you name it. As for breakfast - you are free to enjoy it at your own table. The outside patio is an ideal place for it. Generous portions; the food itself is quite forgettable but it does a good job of charging your batteries to face a Red Rock day. Check out their website for specials, and do make your reservation in advance since they seem to be quite busy. A very nice place to unwind and enjoy life....the only drawback is that Sedona makes it hard to enjoy it to its fullest....when you are there you just don't want to stay in your room but go out and walk, ride and marvel!! read more

I was in Sedona on business and stayed at The Lodge during the week. So where do I even start? The lodge features are reasonably priced the service here are impeccable. The snack bar eating was some of the most healthful, yet delicious, fare around, and by walking outside to my car, I was greeted by staff and asked if I needed anything. They refer me for dinner reservations great Italian 1/2 mile down the street, and generally met any request I had. Though I did not take advantage of it, other services include in-room massages and bodywork. In short, this is the closest I think I will ever come to Heaven on Earth. Whether or not you believe that Sedona is a mystical place (I certainly do), you cannot deny that it has a calming effect, and The Lodge exemplifies this. I highly, highly recommend The Lodge for any type of getaway. Internet/Wi-Fi is available, and the staff is great and alway made eye contact and went out of way to aways welcome you and offer their assistance. read more

Where do I even start? My husband and I got married here, and stayed for our honeymoon. It is our dream to return for a vacation, sans kids, and for maybe a whole week instead of a couple of days. Actually, it's our dream to live here. But I don't think the owners would like it, given we come with a teenager, a baby, and seven cats. :-) The Lodge features a reasonably priced wedding package that includes a wedding officiate, a bouquet for the bride and a boutonniere for the groom, a wedding photographer, a gift certificate for Rene's at Tlaquepaque, a gourmet breakfast, and one night's accomodations. I loved, loved, loved our minister, Margaret Van Damme! We are not a traditional couple, spiritually or otherwise, and we were so happy to find someone who "got" us in just a couple of phone conversations and emails. She wrote the most beautiful, touching vows for us that I tear up just thinking about them. I did tear up during the ceremony, as a matter of fact, and Margaret saved me by reading something that I was supposed to read, while making it look like it was part of the ceremony. She's a seasoned professional for sure. Our flowers were also beautiful, very simple and elegant. The photographer was awesome, and really worked with us to get some great shots that utilized the striking beauty of the red rocks and Arizona sunset. We chose the labyrinth for our wedding rather than the Celebration Terrace, but either location is visually stunning. We had two different rooms as the one we initially wanted was booked for the first night of our stay. The first room, the Meadow Breeze, was very comfortable and featured a private patio. The bed in that room was unbelievably lush and for the first time in months, I woke up without a backache. The jetted tub for two was perfect for a newlywed couple and had space for candles on the sides. The second room we stayed in, the Mission Grande, was larger and a little more luxe than the Meadow Breeze. It had a fireplace, and a private, outdoor hot tub with the most amazing view of the mountains I have ever seen. There is also a private entrance and we got our own parking space. The bathroom is much more spacious in here; the tub, while large enough for just one, is jetted, the vanity has two sinks, and I seem to recall there being a bidet too (all of the bathrooms feature Lodge lotions and soaps, BTW, which are delicious and natural). Both rooms had mini-fridges. Right after we left, The Lodge opened up another suite that took the best of the Mission Grande and Meadow Breeze and put them together; I am still happy with what we had, however, as the view from the new room cannot possibly beat the Mission Grande. Service here is impeccable. Whether we were at the snack bar eating some of the most healthful, yet delicious, fare around, or just walking out to our car, we were greeted by staff and asked if we needed anything. We chose to come here for one night for our first year anniversary this past December. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Our room was cozy (although this is NOT a very handicap friendly location, just so you know). It was a bit chilly, so the mini-stove in our room was welcome. It was a bit small, but had a lovely window seat, and the theme of "Dreamcatcher" made it all the more endearing. The bed was very comfy, and I loved the little journal that guests have written in throughout the years. The snacks and apple cider in the lobby were welcoming, and we really enjoyed getting to walk the labyrinth together. The grounds were beautiful, with lots of lovely little nooks to hang out, cuddle, and connect with nature. My one issue was that both on the phone and upon check in, they asked about special dietary requirments. Both times, I explained that I was a vegetarian who didn't eat eggs or gelatin. However, at breakfast, the choices were meat, eggs, a muffin and/or yogurt (which usually has gelatin). So while my partner loved her breakfast, all I had was a muffin. This wouldn't have bothered me so much except that they'd clearly made such a big deal of asking me my preference that I had expectations that were not met. We had a lovely time and hope to get to come back to visit (but I'll remember to bring granola bars for breakfast this time). read more

My husband and I spent my birthday at this place last year and there were several problems. First, I let them know in advance that I had food allergies and they reported that they would be accommodating. However, once we showed up I guess the kitchen didn't get the memo. There were NO substitutions, if you could not eat the cheesy potatoes (as an example) then you just didn't eat any potatoes. Second, each morning we were awakened by screaming, loud, children! No, not very romantic, as they claim. Third, check-out time is 11 am. If the place is truly a "luxury B & B" then it should be 12 noon. Staff wasn't particularly friendly or helpful, and there were no birthday wishes, no nothing. It felt like because we used a Groupon, we were basically treated like second-class citizens. I flew into Sedona for my Solar Return birthday and decided to stay here. I had the StarGazer room. It was so cute! It had a huge jacuzzi tub that I liberally used. It also had an outdoor shower, but it was a little too cold at night for me to use it. Maybe next time :) All the innkeepers and the chefs were really nice and friendly. Of course since this is a bed and breakfast, you get breakfast in the morning. The first morning I was served a scrambled egg with chives, 1/2 pumpernickel bagel with this fantastic sun-dried tomato spread and a 1/2 dollar-size salmon patty. Okay, there is all the tea, coffee,granola & yogurt you can eat, but I need more than 1egg, 1/2 bagel and a 1/2 dollar-size salmon patty. I heard some woman behind me saying, "Oh wow, I can't possibly eat all of this!" Really?? I asked for another plate. The waitress/innkeeper was really nice and said it was no problem, but they were portioning the salmon and had to give me sausage instead. Fine. I think I would have been fine with just 1 whole bagel, 2 eggs and 2 of those 1/2 dollar-size salmon patties. But, service was great and the chef apologized for not having enough. The second morning I was served an english muffin, split and topped with two poached eggs, chorizo crumbles and hollandaise. It was delicious but why not a side of sweet potato hash or something? I guess my Texas-sized appetite is not something they usually get here. My room had fantastic views of the mountains. All in all, it was exactly what I wanted - some peace & quiet me time to reflect on my new year. I would definitely recommend this place. But, if you have more than a "spa" appetite, expect to go get a brunch on 89A after you have breakfast here. :) read more

Had a short weekend getaway at the Lodge at Sedona to escape from the Phoenix heat. This is hands-down my new favorite Bed & Breakfast in Sedona! All of the staff was very kind and welcoming. I took my dog and he was spoiled too! They gave him a goodie bag when we arrived, he had a bed and towels in the room as well. When we went to breakfast in the morning they gave him special dog-friendly scrambled eggs and a treat that the chef brought out herself. For those of you who are not dog owners, not to worry, they put those of us with furry friends on the opposite side of the property so you won't hear or see them. It really was an amazing time from start to finish. The room was very cute and had nice views. You also felt like you were set back out of the way a bit, yet it was very convenient to restaurants, store, and so on. The staff was awesome the whole time, breakfast was awesome, the ambiance was perfect. I have stayed in Sedona well over a dozen times and I would recommend this B&B over any others I've ever been to. :) read more

This is my second stay for health and wellness reasons at the Lodge at Sedona. I spent a month here in 2018 and have returned for a 10 day recharge. We just stayed here from Friday to Sunday. This place is the reason why we will always save to stay at a bread n breakfast vs a hotel/motel. The breakfast comesvwith the stay was prepared by a chef. It was from all the parts of the food pyramid and melted in your mouth. I felt like I was at the best place in town that was rustic pleasant quiet and relaxing. I learned a lot know to relax again. I am very very easy-going person, and generally do not give bad reviews if it seems like a place is at least trying to be nice. My husband booked us for a one-night stay based on the rave reviews... we had the Moonflower, which was a cute little room off the edge of the main lodge. The place is run-down, at least the grounds are. I understand that in November, you cannot expect lush vegetation and lots of flowers, but the grounds were unkempt, weedy, with lots of dead brush tossed over the hillside. The bench outside our room had a gorgeous view of the rocks, but it was covered with cobwebs and when you looked down you got a not-so-gorgeous view of a bunch of dead tree branches piled up and the back of a mobile-home looking structure and AC unit. Our room was cute, I will give it that. But there was a bowl of fruit left for us (nice, I thought) with a shriveled pear and a wrinkled apple. Ugh. The bed was saggy on my side, i felt like I was going to roll off. The pillows were ok, but a bit flat. The AC/heating unit clicked + whirred all night, keeping us both up. The next morning was very chilly so we thought we would grab some coffee from the main room and sit in our room by the cute little gas fireplace. The coffee was good, very good, but the gas fireplace was broken and wouldn't turn on. When we were given a tour of the place when we first arrived the young lady took us to a table and told us it was "off limits" and was only for the people that were there for the juice cleanse. Seemed kinda strange. I had read about the rock labyrinth and was excited about seeing it, but another disappointment there, it was weedy and looked unkempt, as was the rest of the backyard area. The fire pit had water standing in it and some cigarette butts floating in the water. The people running the place seemed so very nice, and I hate giving bad reviews for a place that seemed to have a lot of potential, but this "romantic" weekend wasn't so much of that with the price we paid for the room, we should have had a better experience. read more

This was my first experience staying at a B&B. The Lodge at Sedona is actually much more than that. It is also a healing retreat. I was happy to find out that daily breakfast was included with our stay. The best part is that it was very healthy. The property was in the middle of the but it was secluded and quiet. The grounds were beautifully kept and there was no shortage of seating areas to meditate and enjoy nature. The room we stayed was quaint and it had a really peaceful vibe. There wasn't a television in our room and I really enjoyed that. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. On our last day the manager asked if we would be joining them for breakfast and we told them we were packing and didn't think we would make it downstairs in time. He told us he would bring it up to our room on a tray, and he sure did. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. I would stay here again and if would definitely recommend it to anyone who truly wants to get away from the noise of the city. read more

Very disappointed. Compared to Castle in the Country in Allegan, MI, this B and B falls short of its Select Registry status. My wife and I found this place on Select Registry's website. Due to our stay at the excellent B and B Castle in the Country (a Select Registry B and B), we had high expectations for the Lodge at Sedona. Loved this place. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Every morning, we walked downstairs and were treated to an amazing gourmet breakfast (example: chorizo eggs benedict with poached pears on the side). Then, around 5, hor dourves are set out. After dinner, hubby and I would return to the Lodge and play board games they provide downstairs. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Everyday, someone would ask us where we went, what we did, etc. One night, while I was waiting for hubby to come downstairs, the manager asked if I needed the fireplace lit to keep me warm. They even have a basket with actual menus from nearby restaurants. When we returned from a pizza joint with one of the menus to add to the mix, the manager explained that a menu from that restaurant had not been included because they only carried menus from restaurants from which they get "consistent" good reviews. In other words, they weren't about to clutter the basket with menus from random places - they wouldn't want their guests to be disappointed. How thoughtful is that??? Yes, L'Auberge may be more luxurious, and Enchantment might be swankier. However, you can't beat the price at The Lodge or the warm hospitality. read more

Secluded, private and gorgeous. Conveniently hidden behind Natural Groceries (a fabulous privately owned grocery store), there is no need to buy anything for breakfast because the complimentary meal you'll receive every morning is just out of this world. Fresh, organic, nutritious and delicious. This morning we feasted on a gluten free blueberry pudding and eggs made with basil butter. Prepared each morning by Devon, an amazing and imaginative Chef. I walked the Labyrinth each morning and then enjoyed a view of the mountains and the chirp of birds from my patio. The rooms are clean and rustic and the bed is so comfy with really nice sheets and down pillows. I didn't see or hear another soul until breakfast where you can meet your fellow travelers. So much more than I expected as the price is so darn reasonable. read more

This review is a little delayed but better late than never. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate his birthday in August 2010. Before then, we had little experience with B&B's and weren't quite sure what to expect. Upon our arrival, the owner was warm, welcoming and kind. There was even a birthday card and treat in our room after we checked in. Our room was cozy, comfortable and wonderful. We were disappointed it was too warm outside to take advantage of the fireplace! Our private patio was perfect for star gazing. Breakfast was delicious. No continental, donuts and cereal meal here. Homemade, unique and a great way to start a busy day in Sedona. We will absolutely stay at The Lodge again when we return to Sedona. read more

I'm currently a "local" so I've never stayed here, BUT if you enjoy walking labyrinths, and I do, The Lodge at Sedona is home to the nicest one in Sedona. There is a little parking area at the back of the property right beside the labyrinth, so access is easy. The labyrinth is well maintained and has a nice energy about it. The only drawback is that a newer residential area is close by and I've been there on afternoons that house construction noises have made the experience less than peaceful. The rooms are not as big as they appear on the website. Bathroom was very tight where the toilet is located it is not made for a person of large size. The bed was hard and in room heater has a light that's bright and stays on all the time. Annoying. The grounds are beautiful and you are right in the heart of west Sedona so easy to get around. The lodge itself is very nice arts and crafts design. Staff is very helpful and friendly. read more
