The art work was fabulous with a lot of history, the articles were great, but Andria took the time to do her own library. The happy place. Binders of her life, so much time and details. This is the only place that I have ever been that has as many books a small library. Even flip books, a special treat for me for sure. It's just like having a house in the Red Rock mountains with a beautiful private patio situated off the bedroom/family room and kitchen. It has a beautiful fireplace positioned in front of the bed on the patio side. The small kitchen has a stocked refrigerator, sink, microwave, Keurig coffee machine and K cups with a beautifully set table done every morning with large coffee mugs. Wine glasses and drinking glasses available. There is a bread machine that the staff uses to come in the villa and made is bread in it every day. The smell when we came home from a hike or exploring Sedona was a slice of home with ready to eat bread. The bathroom was huge, rustic and elegant with an extra large Southwestern tiled shower. It had a sunken bathtub for two with a fireplace on one side to give it an even cozier romantic vibe. A large rustic wood closet that followed the rustic vibe of the whole villa was situated on one wall of the bathroom. The outside of the villas had a pool and hot tub for warmer months and a stocked refrigerator for water and sodas. Help yourself. The main building of the villas had a warm sitting area with a fireplace and Christmas tree for the holidays. The office for the villas was in the building as well Gourmet breakfast was served every morning in this building off a menu with choices that change everyday, included with price of the villa. Very quiet eating area like eating in someone's dining room. In fact everything was included in the price of the villa. The staff was like family. Isobel who coordinated our stay also set up our dinner reservations in advance as well as mapping out where to hike and places not to miss. She made this trip a huge success for us. The property is situated down the road from beautiful Thunder Mountain where we could literally walk to and hike. Lastly they have a massage room to book a professional massage tailored for your needs. My wife and I both did a massage. Remarkable!!! This property and accommodations is perfect getaway and so relaxing. Definitely not a "hotel" atmosphere. Not what we wanted. Slowed me down to regroup before bringing in the new year. We will be back to wind down here again.

This place is expensive so enjoy it. We spent most of our time here. There is little reason to leave. We stayed in a beautiful room with a private entrance. We had a lovely room. It was spotless and just so pretty. We had 2 fireplaces and a comfortable large king bed. We had freshly baked bread and that made the room smell so wonderful. It must be made there. We loved the jetted tub and the bathrobes were so soft. There is a wee kitchen with a frig and microwave. The TV was nice. We did not use it often. They have free WiFi. What we really loved was the charging station for our cars. We were with another couple. Each morning we had a wonderful breakfast. They also have fresh cookies. It is located in beautiful Sedona, one of our favorite places in Arizona. Everything in Sedona is expensive, so we love the few time we are able to go. The staff was very nice and helpful. They have a beautiful pool. We were very happy.

The cedar fire had such a pleasant fragrance, and the sounds of wildlife in the area and the views were unspeakable. Even though if feels like your out in the middle of nowhere, there are so many things nearby. I understand why there is a three day minimum stays, you will want to spend more time there to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. No tv is available and that was wonderful.

Many of the cottages do not have internet service....I LIKE THAT....but for my friend who needed to do work at night we had to switch cabins. My cottage was the Sycamore and it was great: Spacious, with plenty of amenities. Lighting is dark but what the heck. This aint the ritz, four Seasons or whatever fancy pants place...but it is very charming. Ownership is really great...yes that have a pretty staunch point of view and that is the way it is...price for Shangri-La. Nice and simple breakfast. Great coffee and cookies at night. The lobby is a great place to chill and catch up on your web stuff if need be. Lush paradise in the dessert.

We booked a one night stay, just as quick overnight out of town (we live in Phoenix). We came up to hike and then headed to check in. When we arrived, we thought the property was charming. It had a nice relaxed vibe about it. It was also close though to restaurants, bars, shopping, and gyms to just walk to. When we checked in, the front desk woman Katherine said she had been up to our room a little while before we had arrived and it was "pretty warm", so she told us she turned the air on and it should be cooling down soon. Even though Sedona was having a heat wave, it wasn't that hot from what were used to in the valley. We went up to our room and "pretty warm" was an understatement; it was downright toasty! We closed all our curtains and blinds to help the room cool faster (even though it negated the "room with mountain views" selling point), but nothing was happening. After about an hour, the temperature just kept combining up. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone over. The first person came and stared at the panel for a few minutes, then left and said he was looking for batteries. Ok. Then, a second guy came and dismantled the panel and left. The first guy came back and was like "what happened here?" And we told them someone else came and took it apart. Then he pulled the entire unit off the fall and left. This revolving door of maintenance workers took about an hour. We were thinking of just going home because staying in the overheated room was not at appealing. We could sleep in 86 at home for free. Katherine told us to come to the lobby to cool off for a it, offered us a free bottle of wine or champagne, but we don't really drink. We were really tired for hiking all afternoon, but we said we'd go to dinner and come back and hopefully have some sort of option. Finally after a few hours they told us the cooling unit was frozen over from being overworked and we'd need to change rooms (not upgrade; we weren't asking for that). We had asked before and there weren't additional rooms, but something opened up. We were happy to move. There was a credit Katherine said she was going to take care of and not only was it not refunded, we were double charged instead and despite multiple calls after our stay, the issue is not resolved 6 weeks later. Anyway, when we got to our new room, it was much cooler luckily. Our bed was actually very comfortable and we were finally able to relax after a long, hot, and frustrating day. In the morning, my husband went for a hike with the pass he was able to check out from the front desk. When he got back, we went down to breakfast together which was said to be a "really nice, made to order breakfast". Who wouldn't want that? Well, that is definitely not what we got. There was one man working and doing everything by himself for a dining room full of people. We could feel the hangry tension as soon as we walked in. There was no hot water or coffee, no do it yourself toast options, no takeaway items, or anything. I had to go back to my room to use the coffee machine, our mugs and get water. This guy was trying his hardest but we just kept wondering why he was doing it alone, or why he couldn't put the bread and toaster and muffins out for people to just grab while they waited for their breakfast tacos. He didn't have a ticket system either or queue; just write it on scrap of paper. Several people left but we waited it out. Our breakfast tacos and muffins arrived and we looked at each other like you do when you eat at a friend's house and don't want to be rude, but also don't want to eat what's in front of you either. We tried to eat what we could and then took our dishes back to our room, then walked to Bosa across the street. We saw the AC repair truck had arrived too. We really wanted to like our stay at Las Posadas, but maybe we just caught them on an off weekend‍.

Since this was our wedding night, we expected a smooth and memorable experience. Unfortunately, our stay was anything but that. We booked the Premium Red Rock Suite a month in advance and reached out ahead of time to confirm our reservation and request an early check-in at 1:00 PM. We specifically explained that we needed the room to get ready for our 2:30 PM wedding ceremony. We were assured that this should not be a problem and that the staff would help make our stay special for such an important day. When we arrived at 1:00 PM, however, the front desk informed us that check-in begins at 4:00 PM and that early check-in would require a $45 fee -- something that was never communicated to us beforehand. Although disappointed, we agreed to pay because we were trying to reduce stress on our wedding day. The situation became even more frustrating when we were then told our room was not ready or cleaned yet. We explained that we had emailed in advance and that there should have been notes on our reservation, but it was clear there was a breakdown in communication between administration and the front desk. We ended up waiting until 2:10 PM before the room was finally ready, leaving us rushing to change and scrambling to make it to our ceremony on time. What should have been a calm, joyful moment became stressful and chaotic. While the front desk staff member was kind and attempted to compensate by giving us a bubble bath bottle and a Red Rock parking pass, the pass was not useful to us since our ceremony was at Bell Rock. Unfortunately, this small gesture did not make up for the inconvenience and stress caused. To make matters worse, a few days later we received a call regarding the parking pass. We had followed the exact instructions given by the front desk (Catherine) to leave it in the room before checkout, which we did -- and even informed the staff. Despite this, we were contacted afterward and faced additional charges, adding even more frustration to an already disappointing experience. Overall, this stay left us feeling let down during one of the most important days of our lives. The main issue was not just the delays, but the lack of internal communication and poor coordination despite our proactive efforts to plan ahead. Instead of being a positive memory tied to our wedding, this unfortunately became a stressful and negative one. We truly wish this had been handled with more care, professionalism, and communication.

I sunk in and couldn't roll out. Bed downstairs leans to the left No shower except for outdoor shower No wifi (athough another reviewer borrowed from the b&b next door - wish I had thought of that!) Jerome apparently doesn't open up until after 10 am and pretty much shuts down by 5 pm. I think if you want to stay in Jerome and you would like an historic cottage, this is a nice place. In February we didn't see any bugs, so that wasn't a problem for us. If you arrive late, stop at grocery store on your way in - I think the Cottonwood Safeway is the closest as there are no grocers in Jerome and the restaurants may be closed.

The cottage was built around 1886 and has been restored beautifully !! I have included pictures for you to see of the bottom floor that we rented. There are 2 rooms to rent ( the top & the bottom). Our room consisted of a desk, sitting area, fireplace, handmade rock wall in the bathroom with old fashioned tub, queen size bed, outdoor shower, hot tub (shared with top unit), small fridge, coffee maker, TV (no cable). They do not have wifi , but the owner suggested contacting a neighboring bed and breakfast and asking to use their code and they were more than happy to give it to us. The Good: The place is decorated perfectly for the era and many of the features are hand made and the room has antiques and collectibles throughout. The hot tub was right outside our door and had a beautiful view of the main road and parts of the verde valley. Loved the bathroom and the handmade rocking chairs in front of the fireplace. The owner was very nice ( only conducted business on the phone, she was not at the property). She let us check in at 11am and check out at 12pm for no extra charge. The room cost $150 per night for the bottom unit. The Bad: There were no wash cloths??? Plenty of towels, but no wash cloths. The outside shower was not usable....there were tons and tons of spider webs, bugs of all shapes and sizes, and the shower was in a small space, so there was no escaping the bugs...I did not want to use it, and the husband was not having any part in it either. Also no breakfast was included, so the price was a little higher than most in the area that do include breakfast. I think this was in part to the owner normally renting for at least a week. And I can not forget about the bug infestation...I was horrifed all day and had trouble sleeping. In our room ( that I know of) we experienced 2 flying roaches, 4 grounded roaches, a huge centipede, flying ants, beetles, and about 10 different spider species. I was killing spiders all night...it was horrible. I may try the place again, but maybe the upstairs because it does include a full kitchen.
