They called the day before and canceled my appointment for a simple cleaning because there hygienist quit. Put me on a wait list for a cancellation. And scheduled another appointment for cleaning months out. Today my wife had an appointment for a cleaning and called to see if I could take her place, they said no I could come in and get X-rays and schedule an appointment then. Even know I was on a waitlist for a service they sold me that I paid for already they refused to let me take her place for a simple cleaning because it was over a year since my last cleaning. If you need thousands of dollars in work done they will see you, if you need your 2 teeth cleaning a year they won't get you in. I do not recommend there scam in house insurance. You pay and they don't do what they say. Don't waste your money or time. Maybe your hygienist wouldn't walk out and quit if you treated simple cleaning that have been paid for like a priority.

I was making monthly payments but I misunderstood that is not good enough, and my account was sent to a collection agency without notifying me first. I had no idea that I was at risk of going into collections until I received a letter from the agency demanding cooperation. Wouldn't it be a better practice to ask people on their first visit something like, "will you be able to pay several hundred dollars in one payment, a few payments, or within one year? I am basically a wage earner trying to get my debts taken care of and I have dental insurance. As much hard work that it takes to get my credit score back up to a good standing something like this will ruin it just in one transaction. I went to talk to him about it and he agreed to remove my account from collections but now it was at the cost tat I will never go back. He made $1000 on my first dental procedure and I requested another appointment before I realized the balance has to be paid in full before any more work. Be sure you know what you are getting into before getting your teeth worked on.

I've visited my fair share of dental offices. Dr. Phuoc Tran's West Chester Family Dentistry office…read moreblow everyone else out of the water. Firstly, the building is owned by Dr. Tran himself. Thus, the entire area is kept clean and pristine. The waiting room has a giant aquarium which takes up about half of the wall. It's a salt water tank with many fishes that'll remind you of Finding Nemo! (His kids had a hand in picking these out). Also, there's plenty of refreshments available to you on arrival. My personal favorite is to monopolize the keurig machine and snag a mocha flavored k-cup. The receptionists here are warm and happy. Always energetic, they seem genuinely interested in engaging in conversation. The dental hygienists are equally as fun, making a dreaded visit to the dentist not so bad. The chairs and TV themselves are new and up-to-date. I could easily fall asleep in one of those things while staring at the tv directly above me. Quite pleasant. Dr. Tran is amazing. He's very approachable and amiable. He's always engaged in his patients and is getting life updates. Note: if you want to get him riled up, challenge him to a table tennis match!
