Every so often you come across a businessperson who not only exhibits honesty and integrity but kindness as well. I met such a person today. His name is Logan and he is the proprietor of logan's mobile auto care located in Daybreak. Our car's check engine light came on and I reached out to Logan to arrange a time for him to repair whatever was causing the CEL to trigger. He came to our home (house visits? What??) and spent about 30 minutes diagnosing the issue. He determined that it may be a false positive, so he reset the code and did not charge me for the visit. He said that he did not do anything ... but to the contrary, he did do something. He made a customer happy and want to sing his praises. Even though he stayed late, he still insisted we drive the RV around to make sure everything was fixed. Texted the next day to make sure it was still running smooth. Whoever was driving a white van pulling a trailer with this company's logo on it got right behind me, put their brights on trying to get me to speed up even though I was already going 5mph over the speed limit. He followed me for about 5 miles doing this. They could have easily passed me but instead they waited until the interstate branched, got in the opposite exit lane then sped up and cut me off while making obscene gestures. read more

I'm so happy I saw everyone's post about Logan's Mobile Auto Care! He really is the best mechanic out there! I took my car to Grease Monkey in Nov for an oil change, they were having a special on a transmission flush and convinced me that my car needed it. 2 weeks ago my transmission went out. I called Logan Dill to come look at my car. He said I've been driving around with no transmission fluid and my transmission was done for. He called Grease Monkey for me and their manager drove to my house to look at my car. Of course they tried denying any fault but Logan was right there telling him exactly what they did wrong. I'm still going back and forth with Grease Monkey. They've agreed to pay for half of my transmission repair but Logan is still trying to get the to pay for the full repair. I know for a fact that without Logan's help Grease Monkey wouldn't even have offered to pay for any of the repairs. And since Logan hasn't done any repairs on my car he has done all this and hasn't asked me for a dime. Thank you Logan!! read more

Hired his company to do all the brakes on my car and heard nothing but good things from everyone about him. Well a week after his worker did the brakes on my SUV the whole caliper fell off the passenger side front wheel. Logan himself came and supposedly checked all the other brakes and did the repair on the one that fell off. Well 3 days later the caliper on the drivers side front wheel falls off. Both times we were on the freeway with our two little kids in the car. Both times the tires locked up on us. Luckily we were exiting the freeway both times when this happened. The second time I had it towed straight to Big O tires and had them fix what he supposedly already fixed. After this whole ordeal I tried several times to get a hold of Logan to see how he was planning on making this right. I was told he was having phone troubles from his receptionist. I sent them a copy of the bill and the tow. A week later he still doesn't stand behind his work or even has the courage to contact me to discuss what middle ground there is to put all this behind us. I wasn't going to post anything or any reviews about this if he made it right, because that would at least show that he does feel bad and cares about the reputation of his company and name. After a week it's pretty apparent that he doesn't care about the customers he services. This could have been way worse than what it was. My family and I are very very lucky that none of us got hurt or worse killed over his negligence on his part and the negligence of his worker. To whoever uses this individual to do work on there vehicle, I would advise against it or if he has done work already take it into a reputable shop to make sure your vehicle is safe to drive. read more

If I could I would give no stars. Logan is dishonest. Here's what happened at our home. My husband went with Logan to purchase a new sensor. They came back to our home and Logan told us he installed the new sensor. That day (we have an invoice from O'Reilly with proof of the date and showing the money was returned to his credit card) he went back to the store and returned the sensor we purchased. Because our car still had the check engine light on, we took it to another mechanic, they told us the sensors were bad and pulled them out and gave them to us. We took the sensors to O'reilly's and they confirmed (with product codes written on the sensors) they were not the same sensor we purchased. They then showed us the sensor we purchased to confirm the difference in look etc. We invited Logan to our home for 13 days after this happened to explain what happened, why didn't he install the sensor like he told us he did? He would not respond until we told him we would be filing a police report. He refunded our money and asked "can we consider this situation resolved?" We told him we would like an apology and explanation. Yes, we are happy we got our money back, but we are not happy that he took something from our home that belonged to us. We are not happy with all the time it took us to manage this situation including visits to mechanics, O'Reilly's and phone calls with the police. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else in the future. We were told by another customer, we were not the first people that have had trouble with him and missing parts. read more

My daughter drove from Mesa, AZ to visit us in South Jordan, for the holidays. Her VW van was running cold and the thermostat needed to be replaced. She arrived late at night and we all needed to leave the next day to head to a mountain cabin. We scheduled him for the next morning, he arrived on time, fixed it without a problem, and charged her a very fair price and had her up and running again. Amazing!
