I called in for takeout service because of COVID-19. This staff was so excellent. They met me in the parking lot with my order. When I returned home my order was hot and very delicious and cooked exactly how I like it. I was so impressed. I highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely deserved the 5 star review. read more

Service is ALWAYS great! We ask for the same waitress, every time we eat at Logan's! We work at Patewood, so my co-workers, and I, eat here about 2 times, per week! My experience here was just meh. My boyfriend and I decided to stop in for dinner the other night because I love the rolls and he wanted a steak. We sat at the bar as there was a wait but the bar wasn't busy at all. The bartender was very friendly and recommended a great drink to me which was fantastic. The food was where things got dicey. Our mozzarella sticks were basically pre-frozen ones you could get at the supermarket. I had the grilled chicken with rice and sautéed mushrooms. The chicken was just okay but the mushrooms tasted like dirt, not that I know what that tastes like but if I had to take a guess, that would be it. Where to begin, I'll start with service. The service was excellent. Came here for my Father's 50th bday and was extremely disappointed to say the least. We had a party of 7. 2 of us ordered a Tbone and what we received was a butchered and an ungraded fat bone. This fat was rock hard on my 1/4 inch steak. This is where I really wish I could do a 1/2 star. I'll err to the good for this one, but I really wanted to do a 3.5 rating. First, my steak was cooked right, as was my wife's. Baked potato was hot, fresh and soft inside. My rating down would have been for service. It wasn't bad, just not great. And with all the restaurants around here you would expect more. Waitress really didn't check on us much, and we waited along time between order-salad-entree-bill. Had a yelp coupon, which I produced only to be told it wasn't valid, but they would honor it. While we were in town for a wedding, the wedding party decided to go out to eat. We have 12 of us but were very willing to wait for someone to accommodate a large group . We called the other roadhouse in town only to find out that you absolutely were not going to seat us together we could do six and six, no matter how long we were willing to wait. I then called Logan's and found out they would be happy to seat us AND together! Upon walking in the restaurant they already had our type already as we did call ahead seating. We were greeted by two servers who took our drink orders and brought hot fresh yummy rolls. Each of us had something different from sandwiches to soups to salads to steak and shrimp, they nailed every dish perfectly! I cannot say how wonderful the staff is and how great the food was . The servers even went so far as to wish my niece good luck on her wedding the next day . I'm certainly glad we went to Logan's and we would definitely return . read more

They can't cook a steak. I asked for medium but got it hard and dry. Coffee was served with no creamer or spoon. Booth benches are torn.

This is a typical "roadhouse steakhouse with peanut shells on the floor". I was in a party of four, all adults, just past 1:30 pm on a Wednesday .. It was a third full. We were seated promptly. We had beer and sweet tea which was ok. I had the grilled chicken salad with everything , minus the bacon" and the rest had sirloin steaks... Food was served hot and a short time after the salads. We were happy with our server, she was young and eager to please, but appears to be new.. She stumbled over our order and was not knowledgeable on the beer selection. I am giving it four stars because the bathrooms were messy and with all those empty tables they had us seated with all the full tables!?! read more

Gotta love logans. Anything and everything salad is absolutely yummy. Kids steak tips are always good cuts not just the extras. Beer is cold and drink are usually mixed well. Ordered through Logan's to-go service tonight and really wanted to brag. Had excellent service and food was done on time. We were offered free peanuts and rolls and I was shocked by how much we got.Also felt like it was a great value and plenty of food for only $20. Everytime we go to Logans we are dissapointed. Steaks are fatty and never cooked well. We always go to Texas roadhouse in Anderson.

The waitress was awful. Impolite and slow. I was there for over an hour and only got one refill. The table did not get cleared until the end of the meal. This all would be understandable if it were busy, but there was not that many people. The steak was not cooked to order. It was well done when I ordered a medium rare. They know that their grilled ribs are off the chain. If I'm hungry and not trying to go on an impressive date, I don't care about appearance of a store or friendliness of the staff, although both aspects are great here, but the quality of the food. If I could give this restaurant a negative star review I would. After not being able to go out to a restaurant in over a year it was very disappointing to say the least. We had a birthday party for my sister with 13 guests. The food was barely edible. My niece had a piece of pork bone in her mashed potatoes which she could have chocked on. The steaks were tough and full of fat. Chicken tenders where overcooked and tough/dried out. I should have know it was not going to be a pleasant experience when the orders were all mixed up. Half the table received their food while the other half waited for someone to figure out who ordered what. The manager did not even come over to see what the issue was. I had been to this restaurant once before and I was not impressed and this experience sealed the deal. Do yourself a favor and check out other eating establishments in the area. If this is the only place left, do yourself a favor and eat at home. Hard to believe the good reviews on this place. Our last experience at Logan's was pretty bad, though the manager did kill the cockroaches by our table. Thought it had been over a year, give it another try. Ordered a teriyaki steak medium rare, received a charcoal briquette with a red center. My Patron margarita was all margarita mix and no tequila for $9.50. They could have the best food in town, but their service was horrible! We sat for 20 minutes without even being greeted. Then we finally got our drinks and were told that the fresh baked rolls were not quite done and she would bring them out soon. Our apps were cold, and then we waited around for our food for ever on a not so busy night. And when it came out it was cold and holly did not bring it the waitress that wasn't even ours had to bring us stuff that we asked holly for several times. When I was eating my steak I realized that it wasn't even cooked there was raw meat on the outside of it. I asked loaded potato's and that didn't happen because when the waitress took our order she walked away while I was still ordering my food. My friends and I were very angry. Probably the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. And I've had some bad ones. Wanted to take the lady out for Saturday night, was told 10 minutes on wait time which turned into about 25-30ish. We were on a schedule, not exactly pressed for time but didn't have time to kill either. Took 10 minutes to get bread and have our order taken. After waiting for half an hour with one refill on drinks and no offers of bread or even general checkups to pass the time, we were irritated and ready to go. It should not take over 30 minutes to get out 2 chicken tender plates. Asked for to go boxes due to having to leave and they brought the food in boxes to which we later discovered were completely missing the sides and some toppings we asked for or specifically asked not to have had been added, in addition to under cooked chicken. I love this place. A very down to earth atmosphere with peanut shells and all. We had the ribs which were great and talk about fall off the bone. My buddy had the ribeye done to medium rare perfection with great flavor. Great service and attitude by the staff is greatly appreciated. This unlike other Logan's I have tried in Texas and Louisianna. They don't have the same menu NO GRILLED MEATLOAF. They do not offer the same specials - or any that I know of. Find a real Logan's and you will love it. read more
