we had a horrible experience. we were just in town for the night and i've eaten at Logan's in Texas so i suggested this as a place to go to my family so we settled on it after consider the other steak places or american or menu of food that gave us multiple options if we decided not to do steaks. We got seated right away, 3 people (two adults and a child) at a huge 8 top table which lacked for us to be closer to control our son 8 who was super hungry and tired and his behavior is multiplied due to him having sensory issues. We asked 3x for some rolls as which we know they do make them fresh but 15 min to receive luckily we already placed his food order of chicken tenders after the second request and it was a good thing as they came same time as the rolls but the real issue was we also ordered fried pickles that never came but my fried ribs that i told the waitress I wanted to have as a meal came but not with my husbands meal. i explained to her that i wanted it as my meal not an appetizer at the time i ordered even after she told me it was an appetizer. I said i understood but i still want to have as my meal instead. When it came out she said I can't help it came early but it's an appetizer not a meal. I said okay well what about the fried pickles - she said they should have already came but clearly they were not on the table and at this point i asked if we could just get my husband's meal and CANCEL the pickles. We waited for another 20 min and by this time my son and i are done with our food and my husband is extremely tired of waiting so we asked if it could just get his meal which was the pasta with chicken and sausage. our food and the taste was excellent but the young late who waited on us this last Saturday 7/19 red shirt was either new or clueless/preoccupied and definitely can't consolidate or remember things which she should write things down in this the case. So disappointing and we were just passing through but we stay in the area 2-3x a year, we won't make that mistake twice. The restaurant was not super busy as plenty of staff were gathered in the kitchen area. the food runners were more helpful than our waitress was entire time we were there. Very disappointed haven't had a date night out for 2 years and chose Logans to eat at. We ordered a 16oz Ribeye with loaded baked potatoe, coconut shrimp, and a hamburger plate plain with fries and also a blueberry margarita the place was not busy at all and we waited almost 40 min to get our food. The margarita never came, the burger was loaded down instead of plain , and the coconut shrimp never came and when we asked the waitress twice she said it would be 3-4 min and again never came so we took our meal to go and told her to take off the shrimp and the drink then she says the cooks aren't replying to her so thats why she never brought it. Late night eats. Not many places are open in Flowood until 11pm, so this is our go to after a long day. I got the grilled salmon with grilled shrimp, added two crab cakes, he got the porterhouse topped with garlic butter. As our sides we got green beans, mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, and potato soup. We always ask for a side of honey to add to the butter to eat with our rolls, so good!! Everything came out perfectly!! He was surprised because he always said Logans is meh His steak was perfectly cooked medium rare, nicely seasoned. My salmon was nice and pink inside, shrimp was good. We weren't a fan of the crab cakes, it tasted like imitation crab, but I expected that since it was only $8 for 2. I didn't catch our servers name, but probably gave the best service we've ever had at any Logan's! She was bartending and a server. He ran out of water, but mine was still full, he said that it's okay and he that he'd drink mine, she didn't take no for an answer. With four broken ribs and six spinal fusions, it's very difficult for me to get out, but I'm glad I made the effort. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by a kind lady. After I got seated--feet propped up due to the pain--she came over, introduced herself, and made sure I was comfortable, asking if she could get anything to help. The rice was small enough to a kids fist size, the broccoli was turning brownish black between the stem and florets, and the chicken breast had one small spot that turned purplish brown. I visited today with my granddaughter. The positive was that our server was friendly which was nice. The food was okay, but nothing special. When I go out to eat I expect that everyone gets their food at the same time or at least fairly close. My granddaughter finished her entree before mine arrived, no explanation, no apology. My food came out at least a half hour later. I ordered salmon. A table should be served at the same time. Didn't Make for an enjoyable lunch. We have not been to Logan's since before Covid. We decided what the heck let's try it. Sam was our server he was training a young gentleman named Brian. Service was great. They were on point. Checked on us the perfect amount of times. Food was decent. We ordered the cheese fries. The queso was cold. It did not even melt the shredded cheese. The rolls were hot and delicious! The loaded mashed potatoes came out super heavy on the bacon. We had to scrape it off. Tried the new steak sandwich it was ok. Steak was a little overdone. I just wanted something to bring back to my hotel room so I can enjoy the game. I took a chance on some buffalo wings and I am glad I did! Some facts about them: they are drumettes style wings, they are naked wings. But that sauce, them being fried just right, and those soft yeast rolls that come with it gives Duff's in Buffalo, NY some competition! I couldn't stop eatin' them! Stopped by here to have dinner, I was seated pretty quickly. The waitress was super sweet. I received my drink fairly quick as well. I ordered the 12oz ribeye, loaded mashed potatoes, and a side salad. The steak was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were pretty good. I didn't receive my salad until I was almost halfway done with my meal and I never received rolls (I don't know if that's still a thing but other tables received them). My family and I was out of town, and came to visit a family member, and didn't know where to go to eat at. Logan's came up on (food near me on the Apple map) and this restaurant 2 stars and I knew it couldn't be that bad, our local Logan's in Hattiesburg, need to step their game back up.. This 2 stars is misleading because of a party of 8 was 100% satisfied! The restaurant was clean, friendly, patient, very helpful on the menu, our waiter was top notch! "I told my family, I see why she's training other new waitress" she was, quick, very helpful, proficient and was real helpful with our kids! Give her and the kitchen a raise! She recommended a meal for me and it was amazing! I wish they could've got me a little more food on my plate for that delicious garlic, herb, lemon grill Chicken, over the rice, and side of broccoli was amazing! And the grill chicken was tender... .. I didn't care too much about the toast, since it's a rolls house, I like the roll better with this meal than the toast bread. Went today around 6pm. Honestly sad to see this location falling in quality and service. It wasn't packed so there wasn't much of a reason to have an issue with food coming out. There was a couple sat before us that claimed they waited 45 minutes for two salads when my entree was brought out. There were three of us and we ordered ribs, salmon, and teriyaki salmon. I also ordered a salad as one of my sides and my friend ordered a drink from the bar. The order we received items in was first my ribs and baked potato, then my friends drink from the bar, then the other two entrees, and finally rolls and my salad. We are a chill table and understand that things happen, but the girl serving us said that most of the kitchen staff was new and that was why everything came out funny. While she did apologize, it felt more like an excuse instead of an apology. All of our food was barely warm when brought to the table. Thankfully for the most part my ribs were good but they were a little over cooked in areas and chewed down like sawdust which was disappointing. My friends drink sat at the bar so long the ice had already mostly melted and I believe it was the bartender that brought it to us. When we left after paying, multiple tables were looking for servers who were mostly congregating at the expo window when no food was in the window. I usually love the flowood and pearl locations, but lately it seems like those that own/manage the locations aren't giving enough time for proper training of new staff. I understanding being short handed, I've worked in many restaurants, but when you allow staff to not properly understand their role and help give them training it ends up hurting you. I'm embarrassed that I had never heard of this place but I'm even more embarrassed that I wasted my time. There was a 45 min wait, as we were sitting in the vestibule I was people watching. When we first moved here my husband told me to order a water dispenser for home because Mississippi water ain't it. Well it seems like I got my first lesson in what he meant because as I brought the cup to my mouth all I smelled was sewage. I asked the server where did he get the water from because there was no way a restaurant is serving that to paying customers. We had 10 cups sitting on our table, 3 large plates, 1 medium (appetizer) plate, 3 small plates, 4 side dish plates, and 2 bread containers on the table. The tea was disgusting and we asked for new drinks. I ordered my New York strip medium - that is very clearly raw and a terrible cut of meat, there was a tendon going through the entire length of the steak.
