My family and I have been here a couple times, honestly I don't know what so many others are complaining about. Food normally takes time to cook and waiting 20-30 mins for your main meal is not long. Unless these people are just use to "fast food" junk I don't under stand. As far as the peanuts they do have buckets for you to put the shells but there still were many people that toss them on the floor. We never had to wait to be seated. Our server was great she kept checking on us, served our courses appropriately and spread out. She made sure our steaks were cooked correctly. The one problem I had was that staff that were sitting and putting napkins and table wear together just talk a bit load and other staff just kind of don't realize they are at work. We had heard there is usually a long wait, so we went on a week night. It was busy, but not a problem. Loved the buckets of roasted peanuts- enjoyed throwing the shells on the floor. Free soft drink refills are great since we have 3 kids. The steaks were tasty. I was impressed that my rare steak was actually rare- most places over cook it. Unfortunately my mushrooms were way too salty- but everyone else's side dishes were good. The best thing about Logan's is the beer and the peanuts. I probably ate about a pound of peanuts before my food arrived. Not that it was slow service, just that I was chowing down on them like a rabid squirrel. I think I ordered a steak, I forget which cut, but either way it was pretty basic and less than memorable. OK, I admit it. I took my mom here because of the BOGO coupon for Labor Day they offered. When we arrived, we could see that a lot of other people thought the same thing. We checked in, got our pager, and were told the wait was 20-30 minutes. Actually, despite the torrential rain outside where I waited after giving up my lobby seat to some older patrons, the wait didn't seem that long. There were plenty of staff buzzing about, so they were definitely prepared for the large crowd. Both of us ordered steaks, of different sizes and done different ways. I mention this because when they arrived you could tell that one was medium and the other medium well. Should be a given, but how many places do you go to where every steak from medium rare to well done look the same inside once everyone cuts into them? My sides were the sweet potato fries and grilled vegetable skewer (weird combo, I know). Both were tasty and the veggies were done just right, not hard and not mushy. Neither of us ordered appetizers or dessert, so I can't comment on either of those. The service was excellent, as our server returned every few minutes to check on us, and drink refills appeared without our asking, and before the first was totally empty. I wasn't sure if I wanted lemonade or iced tea, so our waitress suggested an Arnold Palmer. Upon request, we even got a bag of peanuts to take out. I also noticed that across the table from ours, there must have been a problem with one of the orders. A new plate was brought out without argument and the customer appeared satisfied. To me, I don't mind that there will be occasional mistakes or problems. It's more important how they're resolved when they occur. Looks like they try to make sure the customer is satisfied. This is definitely a place I'd come back to, even without a coupon. I'd give it 4.5 stars if fractions were allowed. read more

Chain place that misses all checks. Atmosphere is ok. Clean enough. Food is fair at best and very high priced for quality they are serving. Service is young staff that will take care of you when they are done talking to their friends. Management nonexistent. As with other reviews they were out of certain food but had specials on others. Translation: kitchen manager doesn't know what they are doing. This happens occasionally at some restaurants, but not to the extent that happens here. This place probably stays a float because it is in a tourist area, which means one time customers. Unfortunately I am writing this review after eating there and not checking reviews first. My bad! My wife and I came here on a Thursday night with our baby, and we must say, it was really nice. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, and they were fine with us bouncing the baby in the ailes. I had the steak, which was decent for the price, and my wife had the ribs, which were way better than you'd expect. We stopped in here on 04/28/12 at about 6:15pm for dinner. Although I've never been to a Logan's before, it appeared to be just like The Texas Roadhouse, which I do like. We were seated right away since it was very empty in there. The waitress came over, but was talking very low, and not looking at us, so I did not catch her name, or anything else she said except for the fact that they were out of most steaks that night. Ummm how can you be a steak house, and be out of most of your stakes??? I ordered the full rack of ribs with sweet potato fries and coleslaw and a Raspberry Iced tea. My friend ordered the grilled salmon with a sweet potato and slaw and a diet coke. My friend asked that the salmon be cooked well-done, and the waitress told her that she was pretty sure it would be. My friend asked her to please let the chef know, and she rolled her eyes and said she would. I also asked if she could bring us a new bucket of peanuts, since ours was empty. 20 minutes later, and we still did not have our drinks or our peanuts!! Meanwhile, the table next to us came in after us and had drinks, an appetizer an rolls on their table. Our waitress was no where to be found. Finally I asked another waitress what happened to our drinks, and she actually brought them to us. At 6:50pm I finally saw our waitress as she was passing us and I asked her what was going on with our food and if we could have some rolls. She said that she didn't know and that she would check. She never came back. At 7pm we walked out of there. Only our drinks were served, and our waitress was still MIA. with the status of our food. First off, how can you be a Pennsylvania Restaurant only 16 miles from the Yuengling Lager Brewery and not serve that beer? Second, since when does a house salad include bacon on it by default? They should list what comes on it. Third, the prices are too high for the small portions of the food they provide. I did enjoy the 8 oz steak I had but that was about it. Early Father's Day/ Birthday celebration, me, my husband, his brother, cousin, nephew, and brother's grandson met at 2:00. Hadn't seen each other for over a year due to the covid. Been here before so we expected their usual good food. Bowl of chili ordered, arrived with no beans, did not ask for chili with no beans! 2 ordered the French dip sandwiches with mushrooms and onions. They were tasteless, no seasonings, however the dipping au jus was so salty it was sickening. One of us ordered a Father's Day special, Pop's bacon wrapped filet and grilled shrimp, served with mashed potatoes, frizzled onions and steamed broccoli. Bacon was raw, grilled shrimp were either overcooked or grilled 3 hours earlier as they were stuck hard to the skewer. Could not remove them without cutting them off. Dry and tasteless. Filet was only edible part of that meal. The grandson enjoyed his sirloin steak and baked potato. And the drinks were fine. Overall was very disappointing meal. We realize everything is different since covid, but it will be awhile before we try again. read more

Thankfully, I read the reviews after we had our dinner. The reviews may have deterred us. We chose this restaurant because it was close to the highway after an RV show. My husband and I came here two years ago after said RV show and also had a good dinner, that's why we came back. No complaints from us, we enjoyed drinks, appetizer, dinner and desserts. It's a fun environment with peanuts and specialty drinks. It might be a hit or miss bit with us, this was the second hit. We'll be back on our next drive through of this area. read more

I've eaten in and terrific service and food. My picky 8 year old grandson loves it too. I had no problem with time, service or anything. I have had nothing but pleasant service. I even get carry-out from them also and food is terrific!!! Peanuts is the atmosphere and I've seen this other places where they toss on the floor. I have not really seen it that bad there. I have seen much worse other places. We keep it clean when we go but others don't. It is the concept. The waitress only came to take our order and we didn't see her again until we were almost finished with our meal. The ribs were cracked, dry, and barely had any BBQ sauce. My broccoli was almost completely uncooked. The burger I ordered was raw in the middle, and I ordered it medium well done. We went on Sunday night at about 6:45. There were only a few tables occupied. After waiting a few minutes for someone to seat us, someone finally came to the hostess stand, took us to a table and threw two menus down and walked away. We debated leaving then as we had a feeling it was going to be bad, but when our waitress finally arrived she was friendly and pleasant so we thought things would get better. They did not. We got our drinks and appetizer in a reasonable amount of time, but the waitress asked twice if we wanted rolls (we did) which we never got. She came around a third time and looked at our table and said, oh, did I ever bring your rolls? We said no but don't worry about it at this point, since by now it was around 7:35 and we figured our food would be out any moment. Then we kept waiting, and waiting, and nobody walked near our table. We waited until almost 8:00 and finally went to the hostess stand and asked for a manager since it had been over an hour at this point and still no food (and they were not even close to busy). Not crowded at all. The gumbo was a bowl of grease. Now this is a steakhouse, we ordered 2 filet. After waiting an hour we had to find our waitress to ask about our food. Finally came out and she asked us to cut the steaks to make sure they were done correctly. We both ordered medium. We cut our steaks and the were both raw. We're not from the area, so probability of us returning is not high. Regardless, we weren't the happiest with this establishment. We were sat next to a table with 10 people (3 of them young children) and I swear they saw its with our 8 year old and immediately sat us there, as if ours was going to be loud. It took them 15 minutes to come take our drink order, and then an additional 10 to take our food order. We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and I had a spicy chicken sandwich, my husband had the chicken fingers, and our daughter had a corn dog. We were going to order a steak but saw someone else's come out and it didn't look good. The place is very reminiscent of Texas road house with their peanuts and shells, and their butter rolls. But it didn't taste like it at all. Fried pickles were soggy, they were clumped together and thrown in the batter, so when we pulled them apart they weren't covered at all. We didn't get our food until almost an hour after we got there. My sandwich was very small and not plated well. Usually something spicy comes with ranch or blue cheese to counter act the heat. This didn't, and we couldn't find our waitress to bring some. I ended up using my husband's ranch. His chicken fingers platter was over cooked. I had a sneaking feeling that they had been cooked a while ago and just reheated. I never did get my drink refill, because the waitress didn't come back until our bill. Overall we're not happy. While we've been frequenting this Logan's Roadhouse quite a bit (about once a week), today we had an extremely efficient, personable, playful and up-beat waitress (Rebekah) who is so noteworthy that we made sure the manager knew what he had in her, and will look forward to more meals with her as our server... been a while since we had such a delightful experience. read more

Service was slow and relatively unattentive. After waiting to be seated, we waited for some time for our server to take our drink orders. After ordering the meatloaf, we were told that they were out. Our order changed to the ribs, their specialty, and she said that they were out. We asked what else they were out of and she said the porterhouse steaks and something else. We said we would just go somewhere else and she miraculously came up with two racks of ribs. We waited for quite a long while for our food and when it came out, the ribs wete a bit dry, one burger was supposed to be medium well was raw in the middle, and the Brockley was under cooked. When our server asked how everything was, we politely told her, and she turned around and walked away only to come back with our bill. If I could I would give this place a 2 1/2 star rating since I'm torn between a 2 or 3. I have been here a handful of times and every time I hope it will be better, but it isn't. Food is always over cooked, always a wait for a table. Salmon is heavily salted. Staff is friendly and service is timely. My husband and I had dinner here last night. Logan's is part of our annual holiday shopping trip to Cabelas, has been for 3/4 years and every time I'd give it 4 stars. I was sad to see the low scores here... our server was speedy, not over the top fake friendly like some of the chain servers can be, accurate, and on top of his entire section. Our rolls were blazing hot, my peach tea perfectly refreshing, our meals quite good. The serving size of mac & cheese is a little sparse and the toast w/ the pick 2 meat thing was weak (and unnecessary). But the food was hot, the meats were tender, and the apples like apple pie in a bowl. Not healthy but a solid Christmas shopping treat. read more

Even though there was a row of empty tables right there we could have moved together to fit, we were told it would take too long to clean the one dirty table so we could all sit together. "since we had waited so long already." The booths we were sat in had no accomidation for a high chair we needed and they suggested to us to just put the car seat on the booth...really!? By the time we all figured out seating, guess what the other table had been cleaned. and that table would have accomidated a high chair. The food was not good and 4 of our group got sick from it. Takeout order was messed up, when we picked it up servers kept coming out to wait on us but seemed like they were tripping over each other and still took 10+ minutes for them to get our order to the counter. I tried to check order completeness and server pushed my hand away said she already checked it for us... But of course it wasn't complete, they forgot to put the baked potato in the one order, when I called they said they "remembered" putting it in there. What they DID put in was just the "loaded" fixins but NO potato(!) so I paid an extra buck for fixins for a potato that was not there! Spoke to Mgr on phone he made various excuses that it wasn't his store, staff was new etc didn't do much to resolve anything and seemed like he could care less.
