The big problem is that the place is not very clean. The tables are all sticky, the menus are sticky, and the silverware is dirty. Ordered 2 steaks. Bone-in ribeye and a filet mignon. Both ordered together and medium well. . . When they came out. The filet mignon was medium to medium rare. The ribeye was well done and kind of dry. Then when the filet mignon came back, it was tough and very well done. It tasted awedul. The manager offered to make new ones for us but we were in a hurry so we said no. We still got charged full price. Also the service was sub par and there were flies buzzing around. We often go to Logan's and lately it has been hit or miss, we assumed they were having problems getting help like everyone else unfortunately, I was wrong we went in tonight for the very last time. We both ordered the Grilled Costal Carolina Shrimp. First off the hostess sat us near the bar and we actually had to pull out the Lysol wipes and clean the chairs and table they were very sticky. The meal price has gone up which we expect because of the economy right now but it used to come one top of Rice Pilaf which took forever for them to get a chef that new how to make that. Tonight it came with plain white rice no seasoning and it was cooked like rice from elementary school it was sticky and clumpy. I got the Sweet Potatoe it was fine my husband got the baked Potatoe it was over cooked and hard. The Shrimp was undercooked but not raw. The waitress got my husband another Coke but did not dump the ice out just refilled the glass and if was diluted terribly. We have had problems there before and spoke to the manager who was always around and you knew who they were we saw no one tonight except the wait staff. My husband was so disgusted he paid the bill and we left we will not return again. Possibly the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I ordered a simple NY Strip medium rare, and a garden salad as a side. First, we were seated, and our waitress was just irritating. This was my first time at Logan's. I really had no idea what to expect. I got seated right away. My server was friendly. The good came out fairly quickly. The food was good, but didn't stand out. It was on par with larger chains like TGI Fridays. The thing I will ding them on is the grilled peaches and cream dessert. The peaches are supposed to be wood grilled and the cream is supposed to be house-made sweet cream. The peaches tasted like liquid smoke and the sweet cream was yogurt.
