Wasn't planning on giving a 5-star review as I try to save them for really good occasions but my wife and I stopped at this Logan's last night (a Friday night at 6pm). Thinking we'd have to wait, but we didn't. The restaurant was full but they had a booth for us and we got seated right away. Our waitress was fantastic. Polite, attentive and didn't rush us through our meal like some places/people do. We went with a complimentary entree card that was given to us after a crappy experience at the Allentown location, before our meal came, the manager (Dan) came over to us to ask about our last experience. He assured us we would have a better meal here and we did. He even came back after we had our food to make sure everything was good. He seemed like a manager who really cared about his patrons, and employees as we saw him on several occasions carrying dirty dishes to the back helping out the rest of his staff. We'll gladly go back to this location again. read more

I have given Logans here in hamburg one to many chances, this Logans sucks. The cooks do not know how to even steam broccoli, I'm sorry but it's not supposed have the texture of mashed potatoes. They cook steak wrong, they barely give you any grave on country fried steak or chicken etc... I will not return to this location. read more

Noisy, messy with peanut shells, and always busy. But, peanuts to snack on and amazing buttery rolls almost the second you sit down. Every single time we ate here, the waitress has been attentive, and the food has been good. Steaks are tender and delicious, and they ask your approval of steak doneness before leaving the steak with you! One time there was something we did not like, and we mentioned it to the waitress - not to make a stink, just for them to know. Waitress promptly told the manager, and he came out and thanked us for bringing it to his attention and took one of the dinners off the bill. That is superior service. Thank you Logan's. My husband and I were in town to go to cabelas and decided to go to dinner nearby . We are big fans of Texas Roadhouse so we thought this would be a great place for a meal . Our appetizers were ok but what we were really looking forward to was the steaks we ordered . I ordered a 12 oz ribeye cooked medium with grilled onions with the Mac and cheese . The steak was rare , like extra rare and very fatty, the onions looked and tasted like they were taken out of French onion soup , and the Mac and cheese was cold and nothing to write home about for an extra charge . I'm a waitress and have been for the past 10 years , so I'm not a complainer because I understand things happen however our server while she was very friendly and personable dropped our food off and never came back to check on us . In fact she was at a table a few tables away from us with her back to us and didn't acknowledge us for the rest of the meal. Had she come back I would have asked her to upcook my steak a little more . Being that she didn't I picked it apart and barley ate it or any of my meal . My husband got a need York strip steak which was good however his loaded fries came out with the cheese hard and not warm so he did not even touch them . As a waitress had I seen things not touched I would have asked if we didn't like them and tAken them off the check or discounted the check . I tipped 20% because it's the right thing to do but it wasn't deserved and the meal was one of the worst I've ever had . If you have another routine at this stop, keep it. Don't know how this place would have looked better when it first opened. I get that it's a "roadhouse", but they could do themselves a favor by scraping the tables down and getting the grease of the cement floor. Peanuts! Bathrooms could use a scrubbing . Personally, I had high hopes for this place.When we walked inside the food smelled amazing... I wish it would've followed suit to its smell. I don't usually go out to eat, we stopped here for dinner after exploring a bit. Lets start with the inside: Had everything been as nice as the inside, I would've probably given this a higher rating. It was very clean, very nicely themed, nothing clashed. it was home-y. Everything did feel a little cramped though, it was very small and they didn't have the room they needed, once the dinner rush came in, I didn't want to sit in there any longer. It got loud with all the families and began to feel small. Now lets move onto the service: We were seated right away, no waiting, right when we walked in we were asked how many and seated. Our server was nice, forgot her name, but she was nice, bit of a ditz though. She seemed to get distracted easily. Here we go, this is the biggest factor for me that ruined it all. The food: The menus made this place seem like they'd serve really nice food, for the price we had to pay, i thought it would BE nice food. I ordered the All American Cheeseburger (well done) with American Cheese on it. The burger itself tasted burnt, not well done, and there was more lettuce than meat. The buns didnt look all that fresh, just like they'd been glazed over with butter a few times and called a day. Let me make note now, they offered us fried pickles at the beginning when we got there to star the night, which we declined, but when i got this burger it only had two pickles on it? This considerably heafty burger (that was mostly just lettuce and bread) had TWO pickles on it... you can offer me whole pickles that have been fried but not put at least maybe enough pickles on the sandwhich for even a small part o one in every bite? The cheese tasted almost like melted plastic, had the same general appearance too. (We got home with leftovers and it basically solidified to look and feel like plastic... that was just in the two hours it took to get home) The fries I was hoping would be the savior but they had WAYYY too much pepper on them, it really wasnt that busy it wasnt like they were trying to rush orders out either, it was just over seasoned (possibly trying to fit the image of their restaurant, that's what it felt like to me) On their menu it says they have all these name brand soft drinks available. I ordered the Doctor Pepper, it came and tasted like someone had mixed 1/4 doctor pepper into 3/4 coke. I couldnt finish it, and my grandfather agrees that it tastes basically like someone took a fake syrup (like those you'd put on shaved ice or something) and mixed it with water. We had to wait almost 40 minutes for our food, to which our server came to our table and said she had accidentally dropped when someone spilled a drink because it "scared her" So they had to remake it all. The buns tasted like someone dipped pretzels into melted plastic and the butter was way too salty and melted, it got everywhere. When we received our silverware, there were two forks, a giant knife and no spoon. I ended up going outside and waiting for the rest of my family, the food made my stomach upset because it really didn't taste good at all and was seasoned beyond belief, and it just felt too crowded. And just a warning, they will not tell you there are peanuts on the table. There is a full bucket of shelled "salted" peanuts on the table. They did not warn us before hand, if you didnt know already that they did that, youd be in for a surprise. Thankfully nobody in our family is allergic to them. The peanuts were very stale and tasted disgusting. Thankfully we didnt drive out here just to eat here, wish we'd had gone to Red Robin instead (prices wouldve been lower and it wouldve actually been an enjoyable meal) (seriously, none of the entrees are under $10, not worth it tbh.) Food good. Came out as ordered except see below! Service slow! It was mid afternoon and place was over half empty. Slow to get the drinks we ordered, slow to get the food we ordered, slow to come back to check if everything was OK. My husband and I asked for coffee with regular milk on the side. The waitress returned a few minutes later with 2 cups of coffee and a cup of milk. We both put a little bit of milk in our coffee and took a drink. We looked at each other and my husband said his coffee is cold and I replied and it taste horrible. When she returned a while later I told her both and to make sure she took the cost of the coffee off our bill. She replied and I quote " oh it's not on the bill because I wasn't sure if the coffee was from this morning and if it would even be good" and walked away. It was 315 in the afternoon. So this waitress chose to serve coffee that may or may have not been from the morning and may or may not have tasted OK instead of inquiring how old it was or just putting on a fresh pot of coffee!!! Our response to her comment was reflected in her tip, half of what we would've given her, and the other half was a verbal tip written on her receipt saying "next time you think the coffee is old make a fresh pot of coffee " read more

I also believe that the first review is false. First off, they do have Yuengling Lager at this location and it's on their happy hour special everyday! Second, every restaurant that I've ever ate at has their own version of a "house salad". If your that particular, than you should ask the server what comes on the salad. I don't like bacon on my salad either. However, I asked if they could leave it off and they did. My salad was very cold and fresh! Bacon bits are a very common salad topper and their's are fresh. Not that imitation stuff. Third, I took the liberty of comparing their prices online with the closest chain steak restaurant. And before you say anything...... Hoss's is in no way comparable to a real steak restaurant that hand cuts their own steaks everyday! So, although I like Texas Roadhouse just as much as Logan's Roadhouse, they are the closest most comparable restaurant. Although it was busy, my husband and and I were seated fairly quickly. When we received our mozzarella sticks, we discovered one of our small plates were very visually dirty. We never received our dinner rolls, until a server brought us our entrees and we asked her to bring them. She replied they were busy & running out of everything, but would try. When we received the rolls, they were undercooked & inedible. My salmon was nicely done, but my sweet potato fries were ice cold. My husband's prime rib was cooked properly, but completely cold. We had to ask our waitress for our bill after waiting a long time from when she cleared our plates. We watched as our waitress socialized several times with customers that were not even in her section. Again we waited, then after finally bringing our bill, the waitress takes our credit card & bill, then lays it at the server station & walks away. Meanwhile, other servers and even other people walking past to use the restroom had full access to it while walking past. To me this is completely unacceptable! A customer's credit card should never be left unattended! We will not be returning to Logan's in Hamburg, nor would we recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Went with family party of 10. I'm not a fan of such types of restaurants and merely went along just to be with family, but of course I needed to eat, too. I have eaten here 4 times since the place opened. The service has been terrible every time. This last time one of the bartenders was our waitress. So she was preoccupied most of the time. Towards the end she was gone and the other bartender took over our table. She was much better and I wish we could have given the tip entirely to her. We have been to this location multiple times to eat, only because we had a coupon to use. The food is okay, definitely not outstanding. Luckily we have always had a good waitress. Our main complaint is that numerous times we have been seated that we can see into the kitchen and they need to improve their food handling. We have seen them heat cheesecake in the microwave and the person would test it with his fingers and not wearing any gloves to see if it was thawed out - he did this numerous times with just one piece of cheesecake. We have seen them do the same thing with french fries, wearing no gloves, use their hands to put a pile of french fries on a plate. Definitely not a fan of the bare hand method of handing my food. Don't know that we will be going back since we saw them handle the french fries with their bare hands. read more

Stopped by while visiting Cabelas. Had the prime rib, my son had the burger and I gotta say the best prime rib I ever had. I have eaten tons at Texas Roadhouse and have to say they were left in the dust and will give it some thought bout going back to them. They are building a Logan's in Allentown and cant wait til we have our own location. Plus the staff was very friendly and got the food very quickly. Sorry , not a good experience for My wife and I, twice. Shortly after opening we tried it and our Steak and Baked potato were extremely salty. Service was Okay and the manager tried his best to make us feel better. July 4th we decided to give it another try. Unfortunately , not good. Once we were seated there was a longer than normal delay until we got our drink order and received our drinks.( Iced tea and water) not real difficult. The peanut bucket was empty ,the server made no attempt to fill it until we requested it after our meal, not a big deal to some but why have it there if your not going to do it right. It took quite awhile for our salads to arrive and before we got 1/2 way through them our waitress brought our dinners. We requested that our steaks not be salted very hard so that was better. However our New york Strip steaks were about 20 % fat and they seemed to have an excessive amount of charcoal flavor but no steak flavor. My baked potato had a definite reheated taste and my wife didn't get the sour cream she ordered with hers. Still extremely salty My wife and I both ordered our steaks medium but hers had to go back to get more of the red center cooked. The dinner rolls were pretty good, after we requested them, after our meal was finished. We happened to bump into some friends on the way to the door. Worst ever! We had two previous bad experiences with Logan's since they opened. Have avoided it for two yrs, and decided to give it another chance. Such a bad mistake! Our first clue should have been when they started cleaning and mopping at 8:30 on a Saturday night. We ordered a simple meal to keep it quick and easy, an app trio and a bacon cheeseburger. The burger came out with a few bacon bits on and no house sauce like advertised, the wings were dry they forgot to sauce them and they forgot blue cheese and sour cream dippers. Waitress informed us they had the bacon put away for night and that was the last of it, and we would pay another dollar for hot wing sauce!?!? Why wasn't it on the hot wings?!? And I can go on and on! I don't expect much when dining at a place like this but this was the worst food and service I ever experienced. Ordered steak salad medium rare. Asked for the onions on top that were optional on a steak order. Apparently the server and I were not on the same page, as the salad came with the type of onions that I didn't want. She offered to bring the onions that I did want and she did just that, however what I got was a clump of raw breading. My steak was also rare, not medium rare. The server never offered to refill my soda. And that was after I sat there and ate salted peanuts. It is a small point, but the steak knives themselves had such a large serration that to try and cut the meat, you actually chopped it up. Why not a steak knife that cuts the meat, not chops it up? And, last but not least, from the time we were done eating until we got our check and receipt, it was a full 30 minutes. You would think that with people waiting in line to be seated, the server would be a little more prompt with the check. read more

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. We gave our names to be waited on. We sit at the bar while waiting to be called. A little while later I notice that people that were behind us in line were being seated. So we approached the staff about when we were up. They told us our name wasn't on the list and then they tell us we skipped over you by accident. We are then seated shortly but we sit and the waiter forgets to give us silverware. We ask for it and they said they have to roll up more because they are out. I don't understand how a restaurant runs low on silverware. Then I go to order some chicken and they tell me they are out. Which is ridiculous and I had to change my order up. We waited a very long time and we decide to talk to the manager about our bad experience. We then just ask for the bill and they told us they will wrap up the food for us. We decided to leave and the manager said the appetizer and drinks we ordered were on them which was the first thing that was done right. Don't ever come here.
