Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE place! Customer service is slow (even when the place isn't packed). I ordered the country style buttermilk chicken (fried chicken w/white gravy) a baked potato and side salad. To begin with they only brought us out 2 rolls. It took about ten minutes for our server to bring us out more rolls. The food was very bland and not to mention a bit pricey for the quality. I hadn't been here since our last visit (3 years ago) cause we got sick from the food. However we decided to come by again during lunch and give it another try. I was very disappointed, if customer service had been exceptional then it would have made the visit ok and I could have dealt with the food. We also asked for drinks to go and never got them so we just paid and left. I recommend you drive 10 minutes more to Texas Roadhouse for better service, food quality and selection. read more

The service made the eating experience less than favorable. The steak wasn't medium rare instead medium well and the soup finally made its appearance at the end of the meal. The manager didn't charge us for the late soup which was a plus. Therefore we give three stars instead of two. read more

Just stopped by and before evening leaving I wanted to write this review and give our server/ bartender Nick a big thank you. He is the best and this store needs to recognize his efforts and his energy. The whole time he served us he made sure we had everything we needed and kept our drink coming. It took awhile for us to get served. We didn't know about there happy hour and was pretty crowded. It took 30 min for us to get a salad no refills on tea. Asked for lemons 3 times never got them. Food was ok service is lacking. They need more staff during these busy peaks. Did I mention it took 15 for me to get my ticket. I asked twice. read more

I ordered the half rack of ribs and it was the most dry, weird tasting ribs I have ever eaten. My salad had brown lettuce and the mac n cheese tasted disgusting everything the waiter brought me tasted like it had been in the fridge for weeks! The only good thing was that we didnt have to pay for any of it. The manager didnt charge us after we complained. And then the waiter asks if we want boxes to take home. Cmon, dude... Worthless staff and service. Hum, so apparently my concise review was too short. Ok; took 20 minutes and asking 4 times to get a drink refill. Medium rare steak was well done boot leather, waiter thought it was fine. Apparently it is standard to ask multiple times to have salad dressing with your salad. I would assume dressing that you ordered would come with the salad not 15 minutes later after asking for it 3 times. The staff at Mickey D's is way better than this place. read more

Decent happy hour prices on food and drinks. Limited selection on good beer though. Food is all "ok". It does not taste bad, just cheap and often very greasy. For a happy hour, that is not necessarily a bad thing. Good service every time I've been and it has a nice open seating area for larger parties. Have not had the steak at this location, so no comment there. read more

They have the best flavored teas served in a mason jar. Strawberry is my favorite. The veggie screwers are a good side, very tasty.

Visited yesterday and would not ever go back. After being seated we waited about ten minutes for our waitress to come over and take our drink and dinner order. The waitress did apologize but something was off with her. When our food arrived it didn't look great and the serving of food wasn't spectacular. The kids meal was not great, at least at Longhorn they serve it with fruit as well as a decent amount of fries. The only reason I gave 2 stars was the rib eye my husband ordered he said was good but he complained he only received a small amount of fries. I ordered a sirloin with lobster tail and was far from impressed. The lobster tail didn't taste right, I only ate it because I was paying an extra 9.99 for it. My sirloin was not tasty at all, it could've used cooking with some butter or seasoning, something to give it some flavor. We would have complained but our waitress did not once ask how our food was. She did drop the check off quickly at some point during us eating with out saying a word. We were ready to pay and sat there waiting for our waitress and did not see her anywhere! I got up to bring my child to the restroom and the bathrooms were pretty disgusting. While I was in there I heard someone crying. When coming out of the stall I saw one of the waitresses crying and talking to the waitress we had been waiting for. The girl was saying she was going to quit and also said some swear words. It was very uncomfortable. After going back to the table we waited about 10 more minutes till the waitress came over and picked up the card. She must have been watching us because as soon as my husband signed she came quickly over and snatched the holder before we could even stand up! She obviously wanted to see her tip. If we had seen a manager we would've told them what we thought but no one ever asked us! I regret paying $50.00 for what we received . Most of the staff seemed very young and could use some customer service training! We will be sticking with Longhorn prices are about the same but the food and service is 100% better. read more

We went a few days ago and they made us wait for a table ( it wasn't even busy!!) there a bunch of tables open and yet they made us wait ..... Even the people before us were like "why are they making us wait" so they left to Lubys ......Luckily my dad spoke up and told them that they had a whole section that was unused so they seated us...... After that our server came and well it took him a while to come with our drinks (only four of us) then we ordered and it took them a long ass time being it wasn't even a busy time and the staff of girls at the front just gossiping instead of helping out and well our food was pretty bad compared to other times we've come...... Oh Logan's, your food is actually good but why does the service have to be not so good? This location is fairly new, small, and has a really good floor plan but the staff servicing this location could use a little schooling. For example, when I travel and eat at restaurants by myself I will sit at the bar for constant service. So, I sat at the edge of the horse-shoe shaped bar where every server and bartender will walk by me. In my mind it made me believe I would receive quick, prompt service and a good experience. Not the case sadly. Across 3 different servers that brushed by my shoulder numerous times or the bartender dedicated to the bar, it took 20 minutes just to get a menu and a glass of water. Add another 10 minutes and my beer finally shows up. Right within the hour was my meal served. At least the rib-eye and baked sweet potato I ordered made up for most of this blunder. Still, this location needs to reexamine their wait-times and customer service or the competition down the street will happily take the customers leaving this Logan's. read more

First of all it took them from 8:30 to 9:45 to prepare a table for a party of 8, on a Wednesday night. Second it took about an hour and a half after we ordered our food for it to finally come out. Every one in our table ordered something different, steak, burgers, wings, and a salad. The burgers came out first and the last thing to come out was the salad. I had asked the waitress for some extra sauce for the wings and asked her about 4 times until she finally twenty minutes later brought the damn sauce. By that time they were cold and at the same time she brought the chicken for the salad. We ordered a side of mac and cheese and that never came. Ordered the most expensive margarita and just tasted like a cheap margarita mix, no liquor at all. We came from out of town and spent almost $200! I will never ever eat here again nor will my family. We have had terrible service each time (total of over 10 visits). The reason we kept visiting this Logan's is because we truly believe in supporting our local restaurants but after 10 times of consistently bad service, we will no longer visit this restaurant. First we were told each time that we were not allowed to sit where we want. I do not understand this since there is always plenty of empty tables, obviously other customers are staying away because of the bad service already. Then we were told that we would not get attended to because we refused to sit where the hostess lead us. Then after 20 minutes someone came to take are drink order but they made it very clear that we should not expect the server to be attentive. Then we were served a salad with no silverware and later someone came by and after seeing that we had no silverware asked if we would like some silverware. I was so shocked I could not even respond. Then we had to wait over 30 minutes for our bill after we finished and was told by the hostess that she nor anybody could help us and that we just had to sit there and wait for our server, which she reminded us that we had already been told that this server was not going to be attentive because they had customers that they were busy with. I do not understand in a restaurant that is half empty why could the manager hire enough servers and if they lacked manpower then they need to shut the restaurant down temporarily until they are able to recover. The manager never came to our table so we called him over but he decided instead of an apology, he would just state repeatedly of how justified his staff was in not serving us, because we had been warned about our server not being able to attend to us because they were attending to another customer, which absolutely makes no sense to me. Oh and the steak was oversalted and I took my food home for my dog, it was terrible. Then I felt bad about feeding the dog terrible tasting food, so I threw it away instead. We paid over $40 for 2 people and it was a horrible experience, every single time. We visit alot of local restaurants like Olive Garden, Cheddars, etc and have never had a bad experience, yet every single visit to Logans has consistently been horrible. I was born and raised in Harlingen and feel a loyalty to our local restaurants but I have been to this Harlingen Logan's too many times and not one single time have I had a good experience.
