From the moment we walked in, the restaurant felt bright, clean, and welcoming, with a fun, lively atmosphere that made it the perfect place to gather around the table and catch up with family. Our server was outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and always seemed to appear at just the right time to see if anyone needed anything without ever making us feel rushed. As we looked over the menu, my mother-in-law highly recommended the Loaded Maple Bacon Burger, so I took her advice. I'm glad I did. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium-rare just as I had requested, and every bite was packed with flavor. The amazingly delicious, well-caramelized onions on top added a rich sweetness that perfectly complemented the savory bacon and beef. It was one of those burgers that makes you immediately start thinking about the next bite. The crispy fries were excellent too, and I loved that they were served in a miniature shopping cart, which added a fun touch to the presentation. Cheryl ordered the Caesar salad with salmon and commented on how perfectly the salmon was cooked and seasoned. My brother-in-law had the Reuben, another of my mother-in-law's favorites, and said the juicy pastrami and beautifully grilled rye made it one of the better Reubens he's had. My mother-in-law decided on the pastrami sandwich with mustard and, to everyone's surprise, finished the entire thing. That's saying something because she almost always brings home half of her meal for the next day! My sister-in-law also enjoyed her steak tip salad, mentioning that the steak tips were cooked perfectly to medium and were tender and flavorful. Between the yummy food, outstanding service, and relaxed atmosphere, Tailgate Tavern delivered a wonderful dining experience. It's easy to see why it's become one of my mother-in-law's favorite spots, and after our visit, I can definitely understand why. If you're looking for a great casual restaurant with delicious food and friendly service, Tailgate Tavern is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back!

It was great to see Mo a long time bartender still working for them. They were having karaoke night & they have a nice little stage out back for the "maybe soon to be famous singers to perform on". It started @ 7/8pm (can't remember) & went to midnight. No cover charge to get in. It wasn't very packed here on the Thursday night I went, but I have heard that it does get very packed to the point that you may not be able to get in. So keep that in mind when heading over to check them out! I didn't get anything to eat as I was not hungry. My cousin got the fish sandwich with tatter tots. He said his sandwich was good & I had a few tatter tots which were yummy! They still have their famous lobster roll for a crazy, reasonable, too good to be true price! My Mom had asked me to check on this for her as she loves their (State Street) lobster rolls. I do want to go back before I head home to have one as I have in the past & it was very tasty & they fill the bun up with plenty of lobster meat. They have one of my favorite flavored vodkas, blueberry so I was drinking those up. It was nice & cozy in there, temperature was just right. The bathrooms were clean & they have more then one stale inside their rest room so I never had to wait. State Street had less bathrooms & that would make for a long wait when needing to relieve the bladder. I saw some familiar faces while I was in there. Their door guy for that night, Aaron was a really nice guy. Friendly & smiling all the time. You definitely need to check this place out. Stop by for a drink (or two) and/or a bite to eat! Last mth my SIL, Mom & I sat @ table in the bar area for lunch & the waitress never came back after serving our food to check on things. They have a room way in the back that my SIL & friend's were playing darts in that was kinda small with all the teams in there, it seemed like its a function room. I wish I had grabbed a piece of confetti cake to go as it looked amazing!! The sink in the ladies room seems to be uneven as the counter collects water from ladies washing their hands & collects on top so be careful not to lean into the counter or your shirt will get wet. The parking lot is kinda small so when its busy it may be hard to find a spot close by.

My grandson got chicken wings. All of the entrees were delicious. My husband said the pizza was very good. Ate it all. I had to take the rest of my turkey dinner home.
