The atmosphere was really cool, and I was looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, the service completely changed the experience. I ordered a mocha and specifically asked for extra, extra, extra chocolate. It came without the extra chocolate, so I politely asked for more. I had to go back a second time because it still wasn't right. Instead of simply making it how I requested, the employee commented, "That's like half a cup of mocha," which felt unnecessary. I wasn't asking for an opinion I was just asking for my drink to be made the way I ordered it. When you're spending $22 on two coffees, that's not an unreasonable expectation. My boyfriend and I also noticed two women playing pool and asked if they'd like to play doubles. Before anyone even responded, the employee behind the counter yelled over, "Hey guys, it's $4 per person." I said, "Okay, we'll pay after," but he then went on to tell us it was a "$4,000 table," as if we'd suggested otherwise. The whole interaction came across as rude and made us feel unwelcome. Charging $4 per person for a single game of pool also seemed excessive. It's unfortunate because the atmosphere has a lot of potential, but between the high prices, disappointing service, and feeling unwelcome, I won't be coming back.

The texture and lack of bitterness was amazing. I will be going back a million more times for that cold brew. It was worth the 45min drive. Plus the baristas are so incredibly kind. I had my hands full with my two kids and the barista carried my drinks to the car for me and she had a freakin boot on (broken foot I'm suspecting) but I didn't notice until she had put the stuff in my car. 10000/10 service and she was so sweet about it too. I didn't get a photo of the menu, since it was in a booklet at the counter vs posted on the wall. I only glanced for a moment, since I always get the same thing wherever I go. From what I could tell, there were lots of options, and some specials - plus the barista said they have a few off-menu "secret" options. Service was quick, friendly. I enjoyed "shooting the breeze" with them for a sec. It was nice to reminisce about the area before Millcreek's development, as she and I were both native to the area. :) The ambiance of the shop was really comfortable, modern vibe, well-lit. Very clean. I appreciated the lush vines and leafy plants that really added to the calming atmosphere. (See my photos) There were people working on their laptops, others softly chatting. I am participating in The Coffee Crawl during the month of August and this one was next up on my…read morelist. When my partner and I pulled into the parking lot, we were intrigued by the building. It looks like an old house, repurposed into a coffee shop. Inside, however, it's one large space with tons of seating. If it ever was a house, it ent through some major renovations Service was friendly, welcoming and quick. I asked the barista for her favorite drink, which ended up being The Poly. It was delicious and probably not something I would have ordered without the encouragement. That's why I like to ask for the barista's favorite-you'll get to try something new and maybe find a new favorite yourself.
