I'm typically a black coffee or Americano drinker, but this time I ordered an Iced Americano w/cream and pistachio-baklava syrup. I'd been hearing the buzz about JJ for a while. And yep, the hype is real. The matcha... chef's kiss. Smooth and vibrant. They've got a bunch of house-made syrups you can add (tempting!), but I'm a matcha purist and ordered mine plain. It was so good it didn't need any extras. You can tell they actually care about what they're making. Not rushed. The take their time and it shows. Bonus points for the music too. Great vibes all around. It was definitely buzzing when I went, which is always a good sign. There's a decent amount of seating, but fair warning: it fills up fast. I found myself wishing there were a few more spots to sit because once it's busy, it's busy. Still, service was impressively quick and the staff were genuinely kind. It's fine but it's nothing special and it's overpriced. Grabbed a caramel iced latte and it was over $7 for a 12 oz. Absolutely insane. Taste was just okay. Don't think I would be back honestly. Lots of room to sit so if you want somewhere to work this has plenty of room but everything was very expensive. read more

Their matcha was really delicious! The minimal decor and light wood accents inside look so good! The parking is a bit difficult as you'll have to park at the library but that is expected for parking in the city. I also got bread with jam and that was delicious as well. I've seen this place all over social media and honestly, I get the hype. Everything we ordered was really good! We had the classic avocado toast and the lox bagel on an everything bagel, both were fresh and yummy. For drinks, I got an iced latte with banana bread syrup and toffee, and my sister ordered their lemonade. Both were delicious. The service was wonderful, super friendly and quick with our food. This new shop makes some great coffee. It's stays pretty busy, and you can generally find parking at the library on the next block. This is a decent shop for smaller groups, and the decor is simple, with a lot of white and wood. There isn't much on the walls, but its still a good chance to settle down and work on a project or catch up with friends. The coffee itself is good with complex notes. The baristas are great and super friendly. Overall I would say this is a great shop and would recommend it for people in the area. Most the parking in the area does require payment, but this would be a good spot if your taking trax anyways. read more

Been seeing this place all over my socials so of course I had to give it a try. I walked in and was immediately welcomed by the amazing staff. They were all so friendly, kind and helpful, I appreciated it! I ordered Hannah's favorite latte, a honey and cinnamon hot latte. One of the best lattes I've had and I always love me some aesthetic latte art. I also ordered the toast, i am sucker for some sourdough bread and butter. Everything I tried was great! On the corner of 400 s and 300 e just across from the library, you have to find parking and walk a little. Clean shop, white walls, very minimalistic decor. But I don't think they're trying to go for the cute coffee sho vibe, just good drinks. Went on a Saturday morning after a spin class and almost every table and chair was taken. read more

I'm super impressed with JJ Coffee Co! It's definitely worth the hype. I've been twice since they opened and both visits were great. It was really busy when I came on Sunday afternoon, and then on Tuesday morning it got busy around 9:30am. I liked my Banana Bread Latte a lot, but especially loved my Coconut Ube Matcha. I'm pretty picky when it comes to matcha but I loved JJ's. I would love to see if they can do a Coconut Ube Latte next time. It's pretty minimalistic inside and while there's a good amount of seating, they seem to get pretty busy. There aren't many outlets so I recommend charging your devices ahead of time if you plan to work! Parking can be kinda tough since it's downtown, but if you don't mind walking a couple minutes there's a good amount of 2 hour parking towards the library. read more

I must say I am pretty impressed with this place. I recommend finding paid parking and walking over because there is no parking nearby, so just a heads up. But, this place is worth it! The drink options were great and when I read "syrup," I thought they were going to just squirt some sugary syrup into it- nah, it was not that at all. The matcha tasted high quality and tasted so good when it mixed with the ube syrup we chose. Their chai tea is also good- please add a syrup to it though, you won't regret it. The staff were amazing and they helped with recommendations. It's also a great place to go study, read, and just chill. Can't wait to return!! read more

The drinks here are so fun and the staff is very friendly! My favorite has been the matcha with their house-made blackberry cobbler syrup with oat milk. A little disappointed that my hot drink didn't come completely full, there were no issues with the iced drink. t's a bit chilly in the coffee shop and they don't have a ton of tables for their space so hopefully they add more for those who need to get some work done. Loved our drinks at this new coffee shop downtown. The matcha latte tastes earthy with the perfect amount of sweet with the vanilla (they have house made syrups!) and the coconut ube matcha was perfect, not too sweet as well. The baristas were all so friendly. The space has potential, i enjoy the open landscape and wood details but i do hope they fill it up more for a cozier vibe with some plants, art work and more outlets for people who want to work out of a coffee shop since theres really only wall and floor plugs. I went here on opening day and it was PACKED. There's a good and bad way to do opening days and this was one of the best. The whole community with the customers, vendors, workers, everything was so nice. The wait was a long line out the door but everyone was friendly and enjoying it. Once you get inside it's a decent size coffee shop which is great for the city!!!! They have food as well which is a huge plus for coffee shops here. I got a Banana bread latte and an apple chai latte, my friend got a blackberry matcha and they were all 10/10. I love these cute cups though they do seem a little small. I have been going to the one in Orem for a while now and I love JJ's whole brand this store opening was so on par for them. They had a dj, Swedish candy vendor, charictures, and jewelry vendors. The workers were happy and excited the whole time though I got there 5 hrs in of a line all day. Would definitely recommend the flavors of JJ's and the experience they offer! read more
