Seller Beware.......Yesterday I took two high end bags and a pair of $150 shoes in to be sold. At that time, the employee told me that only the shoes were accepted and offered me a very low payout which I accepted. I carried what I thought was my two bags to the car and thought nothing more until I realized today that I'd only been given back one bag. I immediately called the store to explain what had occurred. They've told me that I can buy it back IF they can find it. It's still in their system as unsold but after two hours they've not yet found it. I've shopped and sold things at Style Encore for years but I won't be going back nor will I recommend it to anyone who inquires about shopping there.

The meh- staff seemed disconnected, not particularly helpful and what I would call "frosty". One skort I pulled was stained, so I'm not sure how carefully they're inspecting the items they purchase for resale. Would I revisit? Maybe, if I'm in the area- but I'd advise anyone thinking of shopping here to carefully inspect any items before purchase and to not expect the experience to be friendly or welcoming.

My gripe is with the bathing suit selection for women, and surf attire in general. They don't carry any functional bikini tops! Everything is a triangle that rushes on the bottom that 1. Will move around in the water so you can be flashing everyone and 2. Will hurt your sternum if you're surfing for longer than 20 minutes. Anything with beads, ties, other lumpy textures in the front of bathing suits is painful when you're on your front paddling. Just saying. Everything looks like surf fashion but I was hoping for actual useful surf stuff. Not many powertops or shorties for when it gets a little chilly either :-/

Opened in 2002, Rag Street sells gently used ladies clothing, shoes, designer handbags, jewelry, home goods, decor, and furniture. They add over 500 new items to their sales floor every week so there is always something fresh and new to shop. If you want to consign with them the term is 60 days and you receive 40 percent of the sale price. The shop is set up like a boutique with inviting racks with name brand clothing like Ralph Lauren and Lily Pulitzer. They had good sales all over the store like 60 percent off glassware, a lamp, and select shoes. I especially liked the cute bags.
