I think I came here years ago just for the gelato. I've always passed by and liked the vibe of the outside area and wanted to come back for a drink. Definitely crowded inside but the vibe was awesome. Super warm and inviting yet modern rustic. Got the pear spiced Bellini which I loved and can't wait to have again. Definitely want to sit outside and hang when the weather is nicer.

Wowwwww the dessert martinis that Lola's has are unbelievable. They blend the cocktail with gelato to make it rich, creamy and delicious. The chocolate martini was decadent and amazing. The pistachio one was also yummy and with chunks of pistachio throughout. My friend got the espresso and those were great of course. Wish there were more places in the world that made dessert martinis with gelato because WOW.

I challenge you to a better combo than banana pudding gelato dipped in espresso martini. Just a dollop - and share.

Lola's is the best bar around for dessert Martinis. They use their gelato in most of them, and their charcuterie board was very good as well!

Have no idea why it took us so long to finally come here! This is quite a gem of a place. Ambiance. Service. Comfy. Delicious martinis. All this on a frigid below zero evening. We'll be back! Gelato looked good too!

Loved everything at this bar/café in Asbury. Come for the vibes, stay for the espresso martinis!! Lola's is a staple in Asbury and the perfect spot to start a night out or end it! They have a few different espresso martinis and often do specialty martinis seasonally. Not to mention, they are strong!! I love the classic & can't wait to try the rainbow cookie martini when I return. Some of the espresso martinis are blended with their gelato and it is truly a creamy and decadent take on an espresso martini. Definitely make it out to Lola's if you can!

Best panini ever!! Toasty rosemary bread with turkey, Brie, fig jam and arugula was SO DELICIOUS!! Very pretty ambiance and nice staff. I will dream of this sandwich!

4.5 stars My friend and I were in Asbury and she wanted to meet up with some of her local pals for a drink. Those fun folks suggested we grab a beverage at Lola's, and I was so glad that they introduced us to the unique spot! The inside resembled a cafe that was filed with feminine, Victorian decor, and its centerpiece was a large display case full of gelato that was served in standard scoops or in a boozy milkshake. The cocktails were on the sweeter side and many were dessert-like. I had a seasonal beverage that included chocolate (not their Chocolate Martini), but I cannot recall its specifics. I did enjoy it, however! The trendy, yet cozy space also offered live music on select evenings and a large outdoor patio with prime views of the downtown main street. Lola's was a true gem that combined creativity with a classic vibe, making it a perfect spot for a girls' night, date night, or even just relaxed drinks with a friend!

Cool bar with a European vibe and outdoor dining rught in downtown AP! We stopped in for pre-dinner drinks. Had to try their famous espresso martini and it lived up to the hype. Awesome spot!

"Lola's in Asbury Park is a hidden treasure. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, makes you want to stay and relax. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel personal. You can tell the owner cares about his Lola. Whether you're stopping in for coffee, or gelato or both like we did, Lola's is the kind of place you'll want to come back to.

My kind of place. I wandered over here on the 4th of July with my top-tier chum as we waited patiently for some parking spots to open up in Ocean Grove next door (on us entirely - if you want parking on one of the heavy hitter beach days in the summer, you get down here before the sun comes up). We were able to find parking over here though relatively easily, since Asbury basically has multiple business districts and this one is a 10-minute walk from the boardwalk chaos. We saw numerous high quality pooches on our journey from the car to the entrance of Lola's, which was a holiday delight. It's hard to describe the vibe in here. Yes, very European but also with a whiff of hipster. The interior is pretty dark and we didn't spend a ton of time in there, opting instead to take advantage of the pleasant weather outside, but it had a lot of cool Old Hollywood shizzle on the walls - I'm always down for that iconic pic of Rita Moreno giving Jayne Mansfield stink eye (leave Mariska's mother alone). Very edgy, spacious bathroom as well. I was thrilled to see a familiar cocktail chum on the menu, the Gold Rush, which is a bourbon/honey concoction that I first enjoyed at the Vault in Sedona - an all-timer for me. This one wasn't quite as good as that one; I thought it was a little bland and had too much of the lemon. which drowned out the sweeter, honey aspects. (I just checked the Vault menu to see what additional ingredients that drink had, and it looks like it's bitters. They should get that or something similar here.) A lot of people are shouting out the paninis, and rightfully so. They use a rosemary bread for it that's delicious, and turkey, brie and fig just hit no matter what. I accidentally ate three slices of Domino's earlier in the morning so I didn't have a fully appreciative palate for it, otherwise that item would have been 100% devoured. My chum, who's a notable grazer in this day and age, ate everything on her plate - another testament to how tasty this item was. The biggest area for constructive feedback is the management and logistics of the outside drinking/dining area. It's SUPER narrow out there, and it really looks like they could widen it by another five or 10 feet, which would help out tremendously. Any time one of us had to go back inside to use the restroom, order an additional drink, etc., we had to basically have a strategy session to maneuver past people to get into the restaurant again. Additionally (and it WAS a Friday afternoon, so probably not their fully-staffed crew), they only had one bartender inside and a server/runner that I could see, so you had to order everything through the bartender, wait for the drinks yourself to bring outside, and if you wanted anything else, go back in. The server wasn't an assigned waiter, if that makes sense. Again, that might be a moot issue later in the day but I'd argue for the 4th of July, you have an extra person working. Minor quibble and something that's likely easily fixable. The bartender was very nice, especially given that she was in charge of literally everyone's drinks and processing the food orders. Impressive stuff. One of the better establishments I've been to in Asbury, which is saying something.

My new favorite place for after dinner drinks and desserts. I had no idea walking in that they do gelato so that was a wonderful surprise. I got the store gelato and was astounded by how good it was. Maybe even better than I've had in Italy. We got a classic espresso martini, chocolate martini and affogato and all were so delicious. It's a small place but decorated so nicely. The wait for drinks was not long at all.

Loved this spot! Adorable inside and out. We tried the turkey brie and prosciutto pepper paninis- both delicious. Had to finish with their homemade gelato- amazing!! Highly recommend.

Right now they have a tiki theme, however, that's it in my opinion as far as draw to keep going there. The drinks are an overpriced smoke screen for people who want to waste money on a sugary drink. And it goes along with the whole Asbury Park eclectic vibe but most of the drinks have a 5 or more ingredients I never heard of (which is fine) but it waters down the drink. I don't want to have a drink (or pay $15+ for a drink) that tastes like a fruity cup of juice. As far as the limited food suggestions on the menu- only 2 or 3- this is the third time we've been there and they said they were out of food -so then take it off your menu if you can't be consistent!!! We're not just going to keep drinking without anything to eat to go along with it. As far as the service it's inconsistent, when we sat down there was only two of us- The server was very nice but we waited too long for our drinks. A party of 7 came in about 1/2 hour after us and they had their drinks within 5 minutes- that should never be. After one drink we got the check and we left, we are completely scratching it off our list, we will not return there. It does bum me out because it has such potential and there's nothing like it around but I'm not going to visit an establishment where I walk away feeling it was a waste of money.

The Matcha Matcha Man was smooth, creamy, and dangerously easy to drink -- the matcha coconut cream with the ginger beer gave it such a unique refreshing kick. The food menu is definitely more small plates/appetizer style, but honestly everything tasted super fresh and packed with flavor. The coconut shrimp were jumbo and crispy with the perfect sweetness, the mango habanero chicken bites super fresh, and the wagyu sliders disappeared embarrassingly fast. The real star though?
