I was taking my dogs to LDP for 20+ years and spent thousands on overnight care as I travel a lot for business. In October 2025 one of my dogs was injured while at daycare and the way the injury was handled was unacceptable. During a meeting with the new owners, they explained "they were not trained for such things". They did the right thing and paid the $1000 vet bill for my dog which was incurred when I returned and found his wound to be severe and close to infection. I am told since this incident there is a policy & procedure manual created for the employees and owners and training has been done to avoid an incident like this in the future. Please ask to see this document as the same employees are still working there.

It seemed that they just had most of the dogs in the one "play area". I checked in to see what my dog was doing and noticed that a few bigger dogs were nipping at him and I could tell he was getting frustrated and kept trying to hide and run away. I saw other smaller dogs who were extremely uncomfortable as well. When I called and asked them what was going on the man I spoke to was incompetent and had no idea what was going. He could barely hold a conversation with me so I just decided to come get my dog. When I arrived and asked him why they are all in one play area he explained to me that it's about age and not size. It literally says in the website that they separate them by size. He told me "I said I was sorry". Also told me that the dog that was harassing my dog was a 5 month old poodle. If you have a small dog don't bring them to this location. I have gone to the centennial location which does keep them separate and have competent staff. I also reached out to talk to a manager and was told they are on vacation. Very unprofessional establishment that doesn't care about the safety of the animals. Update: It took two days for the "manager" Kristina to talk to me on the phone. Once I got her on the phone she told me that all the dogs are under 30 pounds in the room my pup was in when I said that I didn't believe for that to be true she got defensive and escalated the conversation. When we pull into the parking lot in the mornings she perks up because she is so excited to go play with her friends. All of the staff members are so kind, knowledgeable and helpful but, we would like to particularly thank Leela (hope I spelt it right). When Olive was out sick for 2 weeks and ran out her promotion days she so gratuitously extended us for the days we were unable to attend. She calls promptly with any issues that might be going on so we can make sure everything is always okay with our baby girl. Overall we are so happy we found City Bark and not to mention the HOURS! It's not the "nicest" looking place, but I've taken Moose to fancier daycares where he was just stressed out, and I did not like how the staff treated him. I love City Bark's staff because they go out of their way to get to know each and every dog, and I just couldn't be more impressed with how they've taken care of Moose and how much they love him. He's collectively spent months of his life there since I travel so much, and I always love to look on the webcam and see him getting love. You can tell that it is important to Lynn that you feel confident and informed when you leave your dog with her. I've found her to be quite flexible with scheduling or changes. She is responsive, and communications are very clear, (especially drop off/pick up procedures). Lynn's Loving Pet Care has a system, and the system works. The best part of Lynn's Loving Pet Care, besides dropping your dog off and actually not worrying, are the videos. Lynn provides daily video updates to let you know how things are going. I can't explain to you how much it means for us to be traveling and see Arlen happy, wagging, having her treats, and playing with the other dogs. We are able to enjoy our time away from home knowing that Arlen is too (something we didn't think was possible).
