It never fails, I find a place I love but they are 30 minutes away! I live in San Martin but Lolla's is worth the drive. I currently can only eat pureed food due to a surgery and the soups at Lolla's are amazing!! Bring back the carrot ginger soup!! So tasty and I love that there are soups with NO CREAM. I am lactose intolerant and finding good soup without cream can be a challenge. My husband and daughter have tried a few of the sandwiches and love them. They have two tables outside. That's it. It was a hot day and sitting outside was not enjoyable. The service was fine. The girl working was doing everything by herself. The food was good. I can see why people like it here. Quite a few people walked up, got their food, and left. We split the Brie, Bacon, and Jelly sandwich. It was flavorful, made just right, and was very unique. I don't particularly like most sandwiches save for a couple but my husband loves them so I eat them now and then regardless. I decided to surprise him by stopping here and I'm so glad I did. We had the grilled pastrami with cheese and we agreed that it was easily one of the best sandwiches we've ever eaten. Was a little annoyed that they knew we planned to eat there but had to take it to go after we came back from the bathroom to see out table had been taken (there are only two). Eaten here a dozen times or so. Food is tasty and made from high quality ingredients. We have tried the salads and several soups. All yummy. Our usual go-to's are the turkey san and the banh mi (a special that is often on the daily menu). Both are terrific. My only negative is the ciabatta roll they serve some of the sandwiches on. Ciabatta is awesome bread, but it has to be uber fresh because it dries out in a hurry. Had that happen with a couple of ban mi's from lollas. But ymmv, and they have other breads for people like me, so no big deal. Like I said, food is excellent. And the ladies behind the counter are some of the best!
