The next morning I noticed oil dripping under the car. They said, "it was leaking when it came in". B. S. I took it back to my regular shop and was told that some dummy cross-threaded the drain plug. I had to pay $270 to get a new oil pan. Stay away from these incompetent crooks. When I was there, the staff were a bunch of kids playing grabazz with each other (out in the lobby) and listening to rap music. Unbelievable.

The guy at Transolutions said "well If I knew it was for sale, I would have bought it! I might go over and outbid you, haha". Too bad they weren't joking. I had already made an agreement to purchase the vehicle from the daughter who had it listed. The mother has dementia and didn't know or remember that her daughter told her that she already agreed to sell it to me. Brian went over right away and convinced the mother to sell it to him. He had to have gotten the keys and Title from their friend who had already agreed to meet with me a few days later. Clearly he felt the need to hurry and go buy it as soon as possible before I had the chance to wrap things up. He knew full well that he wouldn't have even known it was for sale unless I had called Transolutions asking about it. According to him, he said "if anyone's in line before me to buy it, sell it to them", but the granny didn't remember that her daughter already told her it was sold. I pointed out to Brian that he was literally going against his own word, and his response was that it was "God's will". I asked Brian if he was a good God-fearing Christian, and he said "of course!". Sorry Brian, but I really don't think Jesus would approve of your slimy behavior. If someone is willing to act like this as an individual, I doubt they'll have any integrity in running a business. Now, I am trying to resolve the issue with Assistant Service Manager Shane. Hopefully, they will ethically do the right thing. As this was not accomplished the first time. Resolution: Equitable and fair resolution. They will order the required tire. They will absorb half of the cost of the tire and installation. I will incur the other half of the cost of the tire. I do feel this is more than fair under the circumstances. In addition, since they already had my vehicle in the service bay, they did take care of reprogramming both key fobs as when I changed the lock/unlock tone, it disassociated both key fobs. When Googled, apparently, this is a common occurrence. Will I be back for future service . . . we will see after the installation of the tire. Tire installation was quick, accurate and they only charged me their cost for the purchase of the tire. I felt this was fair.

Lithia Ford of Missoula diagnosed it was the rear wire harness and they would have to special order it. After two weeks I called to inquire about the status and was told it wasn't in yet. Three weeks, no parts. So I called another Ford dealer and asked them for price and availabilty. 12 were available in the warehouse and it would be $409, at my door in 5 days. I was hesitant to rely on Lithia Ford of Missoula's proper diagnosis of the faulty part and didn't want to shell out $400 on a non-returnable part. Four weeks after the "special order" and I call Lithia Ford of Missoula again. "Oh, it just came in today." I made an appointment for 8/21/2025. Harness was installed in about 45 minutes. My vehicle sat in the parking lot for over an hour while I waited for the technician to finish the billing. When he hands me the repair order it's $1135 - $995 in parts and $180 in labor. I was understandably shocked. The technician then asks me to give him a glowing review of his fine work. I told him I don't work for free either. I purchased the lifetime oil change at the time I took delivery of my vehicle when purchased new. I refuse to step foot in this dealership ever again so I buy my Rotella oil at WalMart and do it myself.
