They also had to change out the rotors which I am always suspicious of but the technician explained really nicely what the situation was and how I can take better care of the vehicle to prevent this in the future (which, by the way, is to wash your undercarriage during the winter to prevent salt corrosion to the rotors). The team took care of my vehicle at the appointment time and finished when they said they would. Everyone I spoke with was polite and friendly which is a bonus at a time when everyone is super busy. Great first impression but things went a little sideways during installation…read more Last week I called in about the price for studded winter tires and wheels. As the associate spoke to me, I took notes. $110 per tire, $22 per tire to add studs. $77 per wheel. The total I was given was $862. I confirmed this number. Afterwards I did the math and my total came to $836. That's fine, maybe there's a service fee or something. I called the next day and said let's go ahead and do it. I was told the tires would take 3 to 5 days to come in and then they would be studded on site. I didn't think to confirm the price again. A few days later I got a call that the tires came in, that they would be studded and mounted to the wheels, and did I want to make an appointment. I said I would call back to schedule an appointment. Two days later they called to remind me that my tires were there and ready. So I called back and scheduled an appointment. This morning I arrived for my appointment over an hour early. Luckily they were able to help me right away. When I was told the total was $986.24 I was a little bit shocked. I couldn't figure out where the additional $124 came from, and neither could the associate who was helping me. Another employee overheard and asked what was going on. I'm assuming he was a manager because he really did everything he could to try to help me. Maybe I wasn't quoted for labor/installation? Maybe they didn't quote the certificate/optional warranty? He was able to lower the price down to $936. Sure, let's go ahead and do it. A little while later someone came out from the back to tell me not all the tires had been studded, and then it would take a little while longer than expected because they had to be studded. Okay... thanks for letting me know I guess. Another slight annoyance. About an hour later my car was done. Everyone was really nice the whole way through, really informative and answered my questions. I wish this had gone a little better, but it's sort of a running joke that things go wrong when I'm involved. I'll definitely keep coming back since it will be free to switch back to my summer tires. Unless something goes wrong there too and they try to charge me. (Just kidding...? Hopefully this doesn't happen) I'm hesitant to say who helped me, since this review isn't great. But all the employees seem wonderful, especially the one who helped lower the cost by $50.

I ended up getting a new rim to match my set (long story) and new tires, it was past the time I think I put 76,000 miles on those, they were able to order the rim and get me in quickly. The first…read moretime was probably about 10 years ago when they first opened and we had the oil changed in our car. Most recently, we brought our 2017 vehicle in to have the air conditioner fixed. We had hit a deer while driving home from Yellowstone National Park in August 2020. We were told from out insurance company that because of the front bumper and hood damage, we had to take it to Russ's Auto Body. Russ's Auto Body installed a new condenser and told us all the work they did would be covered under warranty for 2 years. A few months ago it stopped getting cold and started making a sound like something was leaking. We took it back to Russ's and it was like pulling teeth to get them to look at it again. They insisted it had to have been something else and not what they had done. We immediately left there and made an appointment at Meineke to have them diagnose the problem. Sure enough, the problem was the o-rings on the condenser were not lined up properly, causing the gas to leak out. We never told Meineke anything about what was fixed previously at Russ's, yet they correctly diagnosed the issue. We took that information back to Russ's where they honored the warranty and supposedly fixed it. That was just a few months ago. In the last month or so, we had noticed the air conditioning would make a noise and was not getting cold. My husband and I both agreed to just take it to Meineke even though it would have still been under warranty at Russ's. It just wasn't worse the hassle. We made an appointment at Meineke and it only took them a couple hours to not only fix the issue, but to get it working better than before. All their staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Sam at the front counter was a huge help and is always so pleasant to talk to. Their prices are fair and they all-around are great to do business with. I highly recommend!
