What a complete waste of money for me and perhaps the worst customer service I've experienced in a very long time. Beware.. this family walks around wearing very expensive jewelry and who do u think pays for it.. we do! They sell low grade merchandise, much of it silver, and way overcharge. Save ur money and go to a reputable jeweler. One set of earrings were supposed to be 14 kt gold and they made my ears swell, turn red, and itch. They were clearly not 14 kt gold! Hadn't realized that they'd expanded, added in vintage dealer spaces, and moved to a new place. Luckily, I found them online and realized that they had a new location. Dear Hubby and I had been staying in nearby Santa Maria and decided to drop in on our way south. It was worth the trip. I like that they have such a great variety of merchandise. The main front room is mostly spaces for local crafters / artisans with new or newer goods. Moving toward the back and side rooms, there are many booths for dealers with vintage / antique items. It's a browsers paradise! Couldn't resist picking up a sparkly pair of earrings, a "Farmhouse"-logo pillow, and some small succulents for a great price. Most everything seems fairly priced, actually. The woman minding the store (owner, perhaps?) was very friendly and helpful as we rounded up our purchases. I did ask about Mike's Birdhouses, which was one of the reasons that we'd stopped by. We'd previously purchased several of his charming rustic creations and were looking for more. Mike also operates a shop with model train supplies, but is only open a couple of days mid-week. The woman told us that she's reached out to him a number of times about him bringing in some of his birdhouses, but he hasn't made it happen yet. Still, it was enjoyable to see the different displays of goods. A lot of emphasis on Valentine's Day, which is coming soon. I'm sure they'll dive headfirst into Spring/Easter soon thereafter. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the area.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Fox Jewelry in Ventura…read more I came in with a buyer to not only sell my peice of jewelry, but also have the buyer resize the ring with the store. A staff member confidently told me (IN FRONT OF MY BUYER) that my IGI-certified 4CT lab-grown diamond was fake and "for sure Cubic Zirconia", even after I demonstrated the paperwork. After more staff members took a look, they come back to confirm it WAS actually a lab diamond (like I tried to explain!) That level of contradiction is beyond unprofessional and completely destroyed trust in the middle of a sale. On top of that, they tried to quote me around $3,000 to "rebuild" the ring because the band is thin, which felt wildly inflated. However, another person on the floor was much kinder and explained that this was due to the professional grade. Either way, she was much more informative than the other person that did not know the difference between a CZ and a diamond. This was embarrassing, frustrating, and handled terribly. I would not trust their judgment. Get a second opinion somewhere else.
