They also have a tent set up with a table and chairs, which would typically be nice although when I came it was windy and about 95 degrees out. As much as I'd like to eat my burrito quickly, I don't feel like doing so while it feels like I'm inside of a giant hair dryer. So the good is that the burrito is delicious and the salsas are fresh and tasty. Two small complaints. First, it took about 10 minutes to make my burrito with only a single order in front of me. That is just too long. So if you're in a rush, well, maybe don't be in a big rush. Second, while I know meat prices are up, $16 before tax is a lot for a medium size burrito. If the burrito was huge I'd say fine, but it's just a little small to make me feel it's good value. Maybe for $12. Anyway, the bottom line is the food is very good, I can't imagine someone having a problem with that. But it's a wee bit expensive and a wee bit slow. The meat was cooked well, the tortillas were fresh, and the tacos had good flavor. The salsa was decent too, although I personally prefer something with a little more kick. Everyone has different tastes, so this is just my opinion. One thing I really appreciated was how clean and organized the restaurant was. You can tell they take pride in keeping the dining area nice and welcoming. The staff was friendly, and my food came out quickly. It's always a good sign when a restaurant pays attention to both cleanliness and customer service. I've eaten at a lot of taco places throughout the Bay Area, so I naturally compare every new place to some of my favorites. While El Halal Mexican Restaurant didn't make the top of my list, I still had a good experience and I'm glad I finally gave it a shot. Not every restaurant has to be your favorite to be worth visiting. I also like supporting family-owned businesses because I know how much hard work goes into running a local restaurant. The food was good. They have a sweet potato and kale option for those that don't eat meat. This is a great alternative compared to places that just do regular potatoes. I liked their agua frescas because they're not super sweet. It is on the pricier side for tacos but I think more places are pricing it like that nowadays. It's a great spot if you're in the area!

It's clean and has a lot more space than the truck. Food might take longer because of the demanding service. Fried chicken is always consistent and leaves little room for improvement. I was working from his room to stay busy but after 3PM, I was getting antsy. After Gavin was out of the recovery room and back to his room, it was after 5PM, so I went downstairs to get something to eat. I ordered a banh mi chay, an order of mozzarella cheese sticks, and a bag of shrimp chips. I didn't wait long for my order and was glad that they accept cards. I was able to stay on top of my religious dietary needs and enjoy my meal despite everything Gavin and I were going through. + friendly service' + The banh mi was delicious, the baguette was crunchy, filling savory + the mozzarella cheese sticks were very good and comforting, too An unfortunate way to enjoy a meal, but I appreciated it.

I had a birria taco from Mi Lindo Apatzingán, my husband got four tacos, and we also got rice and beans that we really enjoyed. Our food came out pretty quickly, definitely in less than 10 minutes. We also got sour apple drinks from Las Cherry's. The drinks took a little longer, over 10 minutes, but there was only one girl working at the time, so it was completely understandable. The drinks were refreshing and I definitely want to come back and try more of what Las Cherry's has to offer. I really like the whole concept here because there are so many different food trucks in one place. There's plenty of covered outdoor seating, TVs to watch while you eat, and colorful decorations that make it a fun but still calm and chill place to hang out. Even with some of the trucks being closed, there were still plenty of options. I would definitely come back, especially to try more from Las Cherry's and the potato food truck that caught my eye!
