Cash and venmo only food truck posted up at a car repair shop on the San Jose/Campbell border. It had been years since I had La Burrita! I came here twice recently and tried a good variety of the menu, and I can't believe it took me so long to get back here. On the first visit I got a Torta and two sopes to share, I'd had the sopes in the past and liked them. The sopes were still very good, but the torta absolutely stole the show. I didn't get it on my second visit because I wanted to try some more stuff, and regretted not getting it because it was so damn good the first time. On the next visit I ordered a super burrito, quesabirria, shrimp taco, and taco plate with Al pastor, all to share again. It was for two of us and was way too much food, but the leftovers were great. The burrito was super solid, nice and big and loaded up with everything. The al pastor tacos were good, and I'd definitely order the al pastor again in either burrito or torta form. Everything we had here was good, but the torta, sopes, and burritos were my favorites. They have 99 cent tacos on Tuesday evenings, an unreal deal. There's a covered area next to the truck with a few picnic tables.

Been here twice, once in the summer & now! Solid spot for $1 tacos and you get what you paid for. I've only tried the pastor and wish it was more tender and juicy. I would say it's more on the dry side, but that's why you eat it with salsa. First off, the salsas here are BOMB. Super spicy with flavor! They definitely make the tacos taste alot better. This place seems poppin on Taco Tuesday because there's a line whenever I'm here. They also accept cash or venmo! This is a good spot if you're on a budget.

Soooo scrumptious. Taco tuesdays here should be gatekept, so consider yourself lucky if you're ready this review. You really can't complain about $1 tacos in this economy!!! The Al Pastor is definitely a big highlight here! Sweet and savory. Well made, and has a fresh sweetness from the pineapple they use. Tender pork and it's quite delicious. There's only 4 picnic tables outside this little truck, so expect to get this as takeout during peak hours!!

Who doesn't love $1 tacos on a Tuesday!? Found this place on tik tok and had to go here on a Tuesday! It's in San Jose adjacent from the Campbell area. The food truck shares the area of an auto body shop, so you can park directly on site or park the KFC next door. It's only a 3 minute walk away. There's always a long line since the tacos are so good and the turn around is go fast. They have 3 meats of el pastor, carne asada, and pollo. Our group ended up getting 20+ tacos at the end of the night. The place has benches for sitting but you're going to have to wait or share since it's a popular spot. Definitely coming here again!

About six months ago, I had the goat quesabirria tacos at Copita in Willow Glen. They were fantastic -- tender, flavorful, totally worth the price. The goat flavor was bold and unmistakable, yet cooked so well that even someone in my group who never eats goat ended up taking my whole taco... and then we ordered another plate. That's how good it was. The only real miss? No horchata. I had to pair it with alcohol, water, or a fountain drink, and honestly... quesabirria without horchata just doesn't feel right. I walked away thinking, "If only they had that white horchata, this would've been perfect." So for the past half year, I've been on the lookout for a spot that serves both quesabirria and horchata. Today, I finally found it at this food truck (they've got tables set up outside) -- and it felt like checking off a little bucket list item. The beef quesabirria tacos here are loaded with big chunks of chuck, slow-simmered until juicy and tender, with just the right amount of collagen. Way better than the shredded versions. Portions are generous too. Only downside? The salsa verde could use more heat. Now, the star for me: horchata. Thick, rich, full of rice flavor, with a bit of grainy texture and specks of real vanilla bean seeds. Not the watery sweet kind -- this one has weight, depth, and a lingering vanilla finish. Pairing it with quesabirria felt like the universe was finally aligned. And here's a bonus detail: through the food truck window you can see a trompo al pastor turning slowly. Didn't try it this time (already too full), but just seeing it there was enough to make me drool. In the Bay Area, most taco trucks rely on prepped meat -- very few still use the real spinning trompo. That deserves credit. Friendly owner, fast service, clean setup. For a food truck, they do not cut corners. Bottom line: if you're chasing beef quesabirria tacos with real horchata, this is the spot. For goat quesabirria, go to Copita -- but for that "dream fulfilled" moment, this truck is the one. -- Dr. C Only writing for what truly earns the stars.

Oh man their nacho cheese fries are so good. Super hot and fresh. So much toppings. Just had to add their spicy orange sauce to make it spicy. Their taco Tuesday is only good for their Al pastor. The asada and chicken are always too dry but the sauce can make up for it. The pastor is always moist though. I wanted to try their asada fries and it was really nice on a cold day. Fills you up and keeps you warm. Just rmemebee you don't get to go containers for the sauce if you dine in. Their tent with tables is a really nice touch to just hang out. You really don't hear much Road noise even though you're pretty much near it. Service was just simple too, order, get food.

Saw this taco truck on Tik Tok promoting 1$ tacos on Tuesdays and had to come check them out. I ordered 15 tacos 8 pastor and 7 chicken. They are small portions but worth every bite but you definitely get what you pay for. The sauce is super flavorful as well and service was pretty quick after I ordered. Highly recommend if you're in the area to check them out. Will be coming back again on Tuesdays! Btw orange sauce is really spicy.

Food was very good, ingredients were very fresh. The hot salsa was actually really hot loved it. They also prepared the food very quickly. Also they have ample seating for bring parked near a gas station. We might make this our regular taco place

Tried this spot on a whim and it was so good! I got chicken, Al pastor and asada tacos my favorite of them was the asada it was very tender and flavorful. The chicken and Al pastor were good as well just not as good as the asada was. All of the salsas were pretty spicy so if you can't handle spice you won't like any of them. Ended up getting 12 tacos for $48. Overall really good spot! I'd come here again for sure.

But it was sooo gooooooood. First taqueria for me that had a beautiful presentation along with delicious, flavorful food. My mouth wants to eat more than my stomach can handle. Meat was really good.

Lengua Tacos Best of the best for a quick Lengua Taco. Very flavor able and the salsa is very good

    "Out" of pastor

Stopped by for their $1 Taco Tuesday, which advertises unlimited carnitas, pollo, and al pastor. Sounds like a great deal, but the experience didn't quite match the promise. They said they were out of al pastor, even though a full stack was still rotating on the grill for everyone to see. It came off as more of a tactic to slow down orders than an actual shortage. The tacos were fine, but the way they manage the deal feels misleading. If there are limits, just say so. People understand cost control, but pretending something isn't available when it clearly is doesn't leave a good impression.

Lots of take out orders and dine in orders. I ordered 5 super tacos to share with different meats (pollo, carne asada, al pastor, carnitas and chorizo). The super tacos come with cilantro, onions, avocado, sour cream, cheese and pico de gallo. All the tacos come with homemade corn tortillas - you could tell they were fresh. The tacos are big, not small at all. The carne asada, carnitas and pollo was my favorite. Al pastor was good as well, chorizo was not that flavorful for me. However, they also have 3 types of salsas (green, red and a creamy orange) you can use to help add some more flavor if needed. I plan to come back here to try their burritos and tortas as well next time.

The tacos were good and the tortilla they used was quite thick. The enchiladas had good flavor as well, and I would be interested in trying their enchilada with the verde sauce next time. Their prices have steadily risen over time and they have updated their menu prices as well. One thing that elevated this restaurant to 4 stars is their sauce! The red sauce and green sauce recipe is definitely unique compared to other taquerias. The red sauce bottle helps with the flavor tremendously and without it I would have rated this place lower.

We were seated at the booth in the back, which I have always admired, but I now realize it has its disadvantages. It is right by the bathroom, which got a bit of traffic on our visit. That's not such a big deal. The bigger concerns I have are: (1) there is no cushioning for those of us with little of our own and (2) you have to sit up fairly straight and if you want to lean against the wall, you're likely to rub shoulders with the wall hanging. Next time I will ask to be seated someplace else as there were two 2-tops outside. The food is always made from quality ingredients and I'm glad to see they are experimenting with pricing and quantity. I did not see mention of their daily happy hour, which was a feature of last year's visit so that may be gone. However, they now have a five tacos platter which offers relatively good value from the menu prices. This would be good for sharing for two people I think. But that is not what we ordered on this visit. My wife ordered two vegetarian (verduras) tacos and the Blood Orange/Jalapeno mocktail. I ordered the huevos rancheros. Unlike Luna, tortilla chips and salsa are not complimentary. So we let our appetites build. Our food arrived fairly quickly, so that was good and we dug in. My wife had ordered two extra eggs (extra charge) to accompany her tacos, and I think she was glad she did. The vegetarian tacos were not terribly generous for the price. My huevos rancheros came in a neatly stacked pile. My wife thought to ask if they had a hot sauce and they do! So we requested their hottest version. It was a welcome addition to the meal (gratis). A little vinegary, but plenty of heat. The mocktail was quite good. Like Spindrift and some other sparkling waters, it is not sweetened, but it had a good amount of strained blood orange juice, and you could taste the fresh jalapeño. I wonder if they have tried adding mint to this as I think it would be welcome. Maybe next time I will ask if they can experiment with me by adding some mint.

Service was not good at all. We had to wait over 15 minutes to get our order taken and then we watched our food stand on the counter top for another 5 minutes. Once we were served we were never checked up on until the end when we had to flag them down to get the check. I don't think we'll be coming back.

This made it so seamless to reserve here. Our group got there at opening and our table was ready and most of the group was already seated when we got there. Drink orders were flowing as the waitress caught up to me and I got a cafe de olla. We browsed the menu and the more I looked the harder it was to pick one thing. I ended up choosing chilaquiles with a bandera sauce and carne asada as the added protein. The rest of the table got all different types of dishes from carne en su jugo to birria to omelettes. While we enjoyed each other's company sipping on our cafecito I enjoyed the ambiance of the space. Nicely decorated for the holidays. Since it was opening time it wasn't as loud as I imagine it can get in there. The sun did shine on the faces of those facing the windows which was not enjoyable for them. There was no way to cover the sun either since it was coming in from the top windows with no shade. My food came out along with the rest of the plates and we went right in to enjoy them. My favorite chilaquiles was covered in the white sauce. The red and green were good but the white sauce was my favorite. The carne was cooked well but I could taste it wasn't marinated or lacked flavor. I didn't get a knife to cut the meat so it was very difficult to enjoy a piece with my chilaquiles. It was hard to cut with a butter knife. I thought it would be a piece of steak but it was a piece of carne asada. Eggs were scrambled and cooked well. The whole plate was filling, had flavor, and was a good portion. The cafe de olla had a good flavor but a tad sweet for my preference. The space in here is a vibe. A fun place to enjoy large gatherings. I came for breakfast but will update when I come back to visit for dinner. Bathrooms are clean. Staff was welcoming and efficient in taking care of our group. Hospitality was a 10/10. Parking in the am was a breeze but at prime time I can see it being a complete nightmare so plan accordingly. I enjoyed my visit and will come back to check out the dinner menu.

Sip Happens... and So Does a Solid Taco Night…read more My husband, daughter, and I were in the mood to shake things up with margaritas somewhere new, and our daughter pointed us toward Copita Tequileria y Comida. As we cruised by looking for parking, it was clear we had picked a lively spot--buzzing energy everywhere: inside, outside, and even upstairs. We were quickly seated indoors, though on such a beautiful day we assumed we'd be offered outdoor seating. No big deal--we asked, and they happily moved us to a shaded table with plenty of space. Much better. Drinks were first on the agenda: margaritas and a michelada, all refreshing and exactly what we were hoping for. Our server, Michelle, was friendly, attentive, and even shared some helpful tips about perks with our American Express Platinum Card--a nice, unexpected touch. We kicked things off with queso fundido, though a brief mix-up brought us chips and guacamole from another table first. Once we pointed it out, it was quickly handled--but honestly, it looked so good we ended up ordering it anyway. No regrets there--it definitely hit the spot. We hadn't planned on a full dinner, so we went with lighter bites. The tuna tostadas and halibut ceviche were a hit--fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. I went with the tortilla soup, which was good and nicely presented... but didn't quite wow me. I've been on a bit of a tortilla soup tour lately, and this one leaned a little heavy on the tortillas (soaking up too much broth) and had more zucchini than I expected. That said, major points for serving it piping hot--something a lot of places miss--and the avocado was a great addition. One thing worth noting: I didn't catch it until later, but there's a 4% living wage surcharge added to the bill--and it's taxed. That caught me off guard, and I'm still not entirely sure how that works in California. Overall, a fun, energetic spot with great drinks, tasty bites, and solid service. Not perfect, but definitely good enough to come back for another round.

Landed at SJC and headed straight to this Bib Gourmand resto before my first meeting of the day…read more Loved the warm and inviting space with its charming banquettes, wrought iron chairs, and rustic wood tables, and couldn't have asked for more accommodating service as staff graciously allowed me to order from the lunch menu even though it was still breakfast time. The gluten-free Steak Salad (a quarter pound of all-natural hormone-free grilled skirt steak, organic mixed greens, roasted corn, avocado, cherry tomatoes, Point Reyes blue cheese, balsamic vinaigrette) hit my macros beautifully and was a joy to both my eyes and my stomach, while the complimentary housemade tortilla chips and salsa utterly destroyed said macros but were totally worth the sacrifice. :D

We ordered the deliciously filling breakfast bowl and swapped the eggs for rice. The banana chocolate smoothie was rich, refreshing, and honestly was my dessert. We also tried the sweet potato waffle, the steak bowl, and 2 cocktails: the Cool as a Cucumber and the Blue Oaxacan Skies. Every single item hit the mark Left full as a tick! If you're looking for a spot that delivers great food, great drinks, and great vibes, you found it!! Can't wait to come back!

Why have I just tried this Mexican restaurant?! I've always seen their food truck a few years back…read morebefore they began to gain enough finances for brick and mortar store fronts! Yay for mom and pop eats :) Well, I was introduced to this place by my best friend, but I never carried cash to go, so I never tried it until another friend of mine mentioned the Blossom Hill location and them accepting credit card payment! (Yay, but let's not get carried away). I came on a Tuesday evening with friends and saw the place packed! Thats always a good sign~ We each ordered an individual dish to eat and chat. I was intrigued by the burrito bowl and worried it may be small. Jokes on me, it was way more than enough! Don't let the size of the bowl trick you into thinking it's not enough. The avocado was nice and perfectly ripe, the crema sauce drizzle was not overwhelmingly added onto the ball, and the salsa had a nice acid and tomatoey compliment to the beans, meat, shredded lettuce, rice, and cheese! I think this place is pretty solid for the price point and quality. They also have a free for all sauce bar too which is nice! Everything is so spicy, except for the green salsa lol. Servers seemed okay. They didn't really check on us, but it feels like a service yourself kind of place. You grab your own waters, condiments, and sauce here. If you want their chunky mango salsa, you have to flag a server down! However, 1 star is knocked off for the credit card charge, which I'm not even sure what the percentage is. I didn't see a sign at the register or perhaps I didn't look hard enough. I think this should be mentioned on the door and possibly their menu (if it isn't already). Can someone confirm if the credit card charge is 3%? Even my receipt wasn't clearly mentioning the percentage--just the fact that there's a credit card processing fee.

There is a QR code (see photo) Cali-taco: it's a good size, fries are crispy. We recommend this one. Would get it again. Quesabirria: 2.5/5 - it was just ok. Wasn't as flavorful as I've had before Super burrito: 3.9/5 - it's a hefty size. Very filling. I had to eat half otherwise I'd go into full nap mode after. I'd recommend it for any burrito lover and someone who can eat a lot.
