It was my first time visiting this location. I had the iced honey pandan latte. It was very good and tasted both strong and light at the same time, very refreshing. Our drinks came out pretty quickly. The inside of the cafe had plenty of seating and looked clean and open. I'll have to come back soon to try some of the food options.

I was craving an affogato on a rainy day and Coffee & Water Lab totally hit the spot. The place is really cute -- I walked in to a lot of people on their laptops, so it definitely has that cozy work-friendly cafe vibe. The drink itself was great! My only complaint is that it came in a very small cup. The price is pretty standard for the Bay Area, but for the size, I was a little disappointed in the value. When you're craving an affogato, you want more than a few spoonfuls! Small cup aside, the quality was there. Perfect rainy day spot.

Coffee and Water Lab has an excellent decaf Americano--second only to Peet's Coffee, in my opinion. It's rich, smooth, and creamy, without tasting watered down. I also love the beautiful to-go cups, and the baristas are always friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Amazing coffee place! The espresso was smooth and perfectly balanced (not bitter or acidic). Plus the flavor syrups are perfectly balanced in the latte. I tried the Honey Black Sesame Latte, and while I wasn't sure I would like it, I ended up loving it! The flavor was super delicious, and went really well with the espresso flavor. We also ordered the avocado toast which is made on a Japanese milk bread slice. The seasoning toppings were super interesting and yummy, just maybe would have liked a bit more of the toppings personally. I really liked the larger menu of super unique drinks and definitely will be coming back to try a couple more that caught my eye! People are super nice and even though it's busy (for a good reason) there is plenty of parking and places to sit indoors and some outdoors.

Interesting digital coffee shop. I was excited to see this shop was located in the same shopping center as Mitsuwa. Parking can be tricky, but, luckily, we snagged a spot right in front of the doors. Walking in, every table was filled with people working, talking, and hanging out. The staff were busy yet friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Honey Black Sesame Latte with Oat Milk and my partner got a drip coffee. Our order came out in less than 10 minutes, even though there were many orders ahead of ours. I found the digital system to be interesting to watch while I waited for our drinks. My latte was very tasty and balanced. My partner's drip coffee was okay, nothing to write home about. Overall, nice coffee shop experience. Not sure if I would go out of my way to try it again, but it is worth it if you're in the area!

5/5 for product 3/5 only because they're so successful they really need to figure out how to scale. Came in Saturday around 11. The entire cafe is full of an ordering line and a pick up line. They don't really call out the orders so we kept checking in from outside. It's cute and there is ample seating probably more tailored to a week day. My boyfriend got a burrito and said it was very fresh. Will definitely come back for coffee on a weekday (: hopefully avoid some of the crowd

Ambiance: nice, well lit place with a a few tables to study and chat. However, seats are limited, so hit or miss if you can snag one. Also some outdoor seating. Mellow, cafe-like music to fit the setting. Service: service could have been a bit better. I wasn't greeted and felt like I had to flag the worker down to take my order at the counter. He was also very soft spoken and seemed disinterested. Drink: - Honey pandan latte: 5/5 would get again. Had a distinct pandan flavor without feeling artificial. Was surprised it wasn't hidden away by the espresso. You are able to customize your milk preference and espresso level (light, medium, dark). Warning that iced drinks cost a bit more. Togo cups cups in a nice, durable feeling plastic(?) container

The yuzu lemonade fizz was not appealing, it tasted artificial had not a pleasant taste. The honey lavender latte after mixed tasted mostly like milk and not enough lavender or coffee, I would have most likely needed a double shot for that flavor to go through. The Vietnamese nitro was something unique. That drink tasted the best out of the three that I received. I loved how there were options for different types of roast which was refreshing to see. Service was decent, drinks came out at a decent time and offered a take out cup when you're not finished. Seatings were enough, provided some inside and outside seatings perfect for studying and casual conversation. The inside felt modern and clean as well.

    Avocado Toast, Tomato Ricotta

The toast was honestly the highlight, one of the best toasts I've had. The coffee was pretty average. It's always been busy when I've gone, with limited seating and a lot of students working. The space is also very bright with minimal decor.

Love this spot so much! One of my favorite matchas in the Bay- clean, good quality ingredients-always great customer service too Didn't even notice the sweet design until we got to the car :) Highly recommend if in the area! *Always perfect amount of outlets for WFH or any laptop work*

I decided to stop by this aesthetic cafe after seeing it on Instagram two years ago. This place was packed after 10 am. The barista was patient to let me decide what to order since this was my first time. Eggnog Latte- not too sweet with a good cinnamon and nutmeg flavor. Tomato Ricotta Toast- savory goodness, and the Shokupan bread was soft. Overall, the service was friendly, the cafe had spacious seating, and a mini apparel section. The outlets are conveniently located under the seat. I had difficulty concentrating on reading since there was a group of people chatting at the next table and a music playlist in the background. I should bring my headphones next time. I would come back to try their Asian-inspired lattes and dessert toasts.

I've been coming here for a while and decided to give this place an official review. People are always working here. I think it's because it's spacious and has good lighting. Even when it's busy, the service is pretty quick. The workers here are always super friendly. I don't think I've ever had a negative customer service experience here. They have a solid base menu and unique seasonal drinks. From their regular menu, I usually order one of their cold brews. I ordered the maple cream cold brew this time around. It had a nice maple syrup taste and was perfectly sweet. My fiance ordered the banana bourbon latte. We both really liked it. We always look forward to their seasonal drinks. I ordered the Chinese sausage breakfast burrito, which I had been meaning to try for a while. It was tasty, but a little small for 8 dollars. I still liked it, it's just not something to split between two people (which my fiance and I planned to do haha) Definitely check this place out!

Came here for coffee and carbs on a Friday morning upon the recommendation of my daughter and son-in-law. We sat outside as this coffeeshop was packed and we didn't want to rub elbows with the other customers. I wanted to get the Honey Black Sesame Latte but the disinterested cashier said it was unavailable and suggested in a mumbled tone, a cappuccino. One star deducted. After begrudgingly saying yes, I was thankful that he allowed me to order the rest of what was on my list of dine-ins and to-gos. I guess my wife liked the Blueberry Mascarpone toast and Vietnamese Nitro Cold Brew Float as she finished hers before I was done with my overcooked Ham & Swiss Cheese toast. Another star taken out. The cappuccino was decent though. The Madagascar Latte and Toasted Caramel Latte we took home brought no complaints from the daughter and SIL as well. I was told that I could've requested specific roasts which got me all excited at this coffeeshop, but that one crew member spoiled it all for me. I don't see myself returning here. There's just to many good cafes in San Jose with pleasant cashiers.

Are there plant milk options & vegan food options?

There is plant milk (oat) and I believe there are some vegan options, including a pretzel.

Does a bag of beans purchase come with a feee drink?

Both fell below my expectations and my excitement fell flat. My pulled pork sandwich was sliced pork! And, the sliced pork seemed my smaller than the pulled pork. They never said they were out of the pulled pork. The side salad was nice, but lacked dressing. I saw the cake roll come out fresh as I was ordering my sandwich, so I added that to my order too. Well, the cake roll was not fresh, it must have come out of a very cold refrigerator, or it might have even been a freezer! I drove back to my office and ate my sandwich with the cake roll sitting in the open, 20 minutes later, when I went to eat the roll cake, the strawberry and chocolate mousse filling was still frozen and crystallized when you went to eat it. It was not ready at all to be served. What a shame, because it's not like it was inexpensive. There is some quality there, but still lacking consistency.
