Possibly a hidden gem if you're not familiar with Liberty Lake. Best butcher shop in town and they have a small menu of sandwiches, salads, and pastas. Salads are pre made so you can grab and go. New to the area and craving a good steak, I discovered The Butcher Block via Yelp and was very impressed. Typically, I would get boneless ribeyes from Whole Foods for around $21/lb. I got a boneless ribeye at the rate of $24/lb at The Butcher Block and it was worth every penny. The quality of the meat was that of the highest. Great marbling and the meat literally melted in my mouth. It was like I had a Ruth Chris steak in my own home. I also opted for some crab cakes, and I failed to ask what type of crab, but I would imagine they are made with king or dungenous. These suckers were huge and also, worth every penny. I appreciate the amount of meat they are made with, not bolstered by breadcrumbs or other fillers. Ultimately, I was pleasantly surprised with this hole in the wall butcher and will be going back in the future. read more

Huge fan of this place! The to go salads are out of this world. Anytime I've gone here, there are always people running in and grabbing them. They make their own dressing and the salads are always fresh, always delicious. I've bought a few different meats here too. I'm a fan of Snake River Farms and usually they carry them. Looking forward to trying a dessert on day. They look so good too. They always have a pretty impressive wine collection. Definitely a place I want to frequent. read more

I've been to Butcher Block a total of 3 times in the past few months. Latest was today. Every time I go I have to request that the employee helping me put his mask on. Today I got a disgusted look from the employee and an eye roll. Butcher block has good quality meats but the attitude of the employees leaves a lot to be desired. Especially when there is a sign on the front door with info about the mask rules. I want to support local businesses but I prefer those with employees who are happy to help and are customer oriented. read more

LOVE this place. Just signed up for the wine club super excited. Have gotten meats, cheese, dips, wine, beer, and soups here and have not been disappointed.
