Our last name isn't spelled out on Yelp, nor is anyone else's. What occured is detailed here. It was worse than what we disclosed: Cottonwood's veterinarian said our dog's heart was failing. He used a stethescope to make this assessment, not an x-ray. We made an appointment to bring the dog to a cardiologist the next week. The cardiologist found no issues with our dog's heart.

I got myself out, got him up the rocks & into the car & rushed him to the vet. They were wonderful. Boo was almost frozen. Sleeping Giant Animal Clinic fit us in at the very first available appointment. From start to finish, the experience was incredible. Dr. Hunter Rung was amazing--thorough, compassionate, and clearly knowledgeable. He performed an ultrasound and a urinalysis on the spot, explained everything clearly, and started our dog on the right antibiotics so we could get back on the road with peace of mind. The front office staff and vet techs were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, even though we were just passing through. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. The cost was also extremely reasonable, especially given the level of care. I only wish this clinic were closer to home so they could be our regular vets.
