Kiki also has a loose front incisor tooth, that Dr Higgins recommended extracting and to check for any other issues to other teeth. We immediately scheduled the cleaning with the staff at the front desk, who were very friendly and accommodating. They were able to get Kiki in 2 days later to have the procedure, from pre-anesthetic blood panel, to the actual sedation under anesthesia, to the cleaning of all teeth, the extraction of the incisor and one molar. Dr Arakaki performed the surgery and did a fabulous job of keeping us updated on how the procedure went. Madison, the technician was also amazing from when I brought Kiki the morning of the surgery, reviewing everything in detail and as well, when we picked up Kiki. We would like to compliment entire team at Baxter Creek, from the front desk personnel, Madison, Dr Higgins and of course Dr Arakaki. The clinic is very clean and state of the art with their equipment and would highly recommend them to any pet owner Thanks Baxter!

After his non cancerous granuloma was discovered on his MRI, Dr. Valerio suggested spinal surgery to remove the growth that was compressing his spine. There aren't words to express how incredibly grateful I am for this team, this hospital and this surgeon. From having to be cathetered, gurnied, and carried with a harness to walking freely, my boy has surpassed our expectations! Thank you so very much for your professionalism, care giving, phone support, and efficiency. Amazing. ~Adrienne

They saved my beautiful Catahoula-American Staffy mix, Gabby, a couple of times now. Dr. Owen is a bada** surgeon! She was able to remove both adrenal glands and the cancerous tumors attached to them, with zero damage to kidneys and without touching the main artery that is close by. She also removed a sarcoma tumor in her foot that was wrapped around a tendon, with no loss of foot/leg. And Dr. Culver has been wonderful with Gabby after the adrenalectomy, managing her Addison's disease. And fir what they do, it is very affordable, in my opinion. Thank you all for being so excellent at what you do!

It was a Saturday and we were frantically looking for a vet clinic to help, that was open, and chose WellHaven. We ended up having to put her to rest after 16 1/2 years with our Doxie. I cannot adequately express how wonderful, and patient, both the vet and the tech were. They even went above and beyond in helping make arrangements to get her home to us after her cremation. Thank you for making a horrible situation a little bit easier with you care and compassion.

I have nothing bad to say about them. The business, however, is unscrupulous and I will provide concrete examples and receipts. Wellhaven prioritizes line-item price gouging over care. My last appointment lasted a half-an-hour. It covered my dogs annual vaccines, a checkup, a heartworm test, flea and tick medication and a shot for his allergies. In 30 minutes, I racked up a bill of $1,010 (see itemized invoice attached). I spoke with a few dog owner friends. Their annual dog exams with vaccines (PLUS a rattlesnake vaccine), cost around $200. Further, they gave my dog a rabies and DAPPi vaccine that he didn't need because he got them last year (same clinic) - these are 3 year vaccinations. Their business model is unethical and gouges pet owners. On the bright side, their big city IT and marketing are spectacular. My advise would be to find a locally owned vet that prioritizes animal care over line-item price gouging and upselling you treatments you don't need.

Peaceful Journey - Dr. Jenny Muckey, Owner

Professional would be an injustice to her. She was more like a friend who truly cared and truly wanted to help. She understood and she made the entire process simple, no stress, no hoops. Simple and very compassionate. I told her what I needed, or was looking for, she told me Jenny would get a hold of me within a certain amount of time and Jenny did. Jenny, too, was the same, compassionate and caring. Both ladies new this was not just my dog. They knew it was much more than that, to me. Jenny made it more that work when she arrived at my location. Her set up was quick, took no time and she proceeded. While doing so she wanted, truly wanted to know about my life with my friend. I could offer very little. She knew what a sad time this was and recognized how much it hurt. I managed only to tell her that Bruno had shared more life and more adventure, more happy time and sad time, more ups and downs across this country than any human ever would . We ate and drank together, slept at the same time and traveled. When we wore machine out we walked pads off his feet and soles off my boots to get parts. He never would leave me to go alone , took every pump and every high time right beside me. Never a complaint, never wanding loyalty. Jenny knew that was all I was able to say at the time. She wanted to hear whatever I wanted to tell. If this situation would ever force itself again, I would call Mikki and ask her if we could find a way to fly Jenny to my location. I'm sure she would do her best to make that simple, if at all possible. And I'm sure if Jenny could actually fly to me she would handle the situation with as much care and kindness as she did with Bruno. I don't think a better service offered by anyone could ever be found.. Sincerely, Joe and Bruno the Wonder Weiner Dog.

While there they notice his nail was getting a slight infection and due to his past he needed to be put to sleep to handle it. Lone peak got him in the day before Christmas very last minute and worked overtime to ensure Rory could get stitched up and a drain put in. Both times lone peak vet called after to see if there was anything else they could help with and to ensure the dogs were doing fine. The only thing I'm sad about is that I don't live in big sky year round so my pups can't go back for their care when needed.
