    Testing out my throwing skills
    Jenny M.

Great idea for a date night, and amazing to let out all that stress by tossing them axes. I was nervous at first, but I managed to get it to stick to the wall on every throw. Never get it straight on the target, but I shall practice hahahaha I believe it was $25 per person for 1 hour. The girls working at the moment were kind enough to show us how to throw, and the safest way to throw. Gave us pointers to ensure the axe always lodged to the wall.

Does anyone complain about axe throwing? We heard the fun happening from the shared wall and had to check it out. We've both axe thrown and had fun, so had to get a session in. Candace helped us and they were freaking awesome. I've ace thrown multiple times and NO ONE took the time to help me with my form or figure out the best way for me to get the axe in the wood. I had no issues here!! I wasn't drinking, but my husband was. They had some great liquor options. The price felt really fair as well, an hour is plenty of time to get some good throws in. An awesome end to our day in this area, highly recommend.

First time here. The staff was friendly and ensured we were having a great time. At the end, 1 of the staff members came over and demonstrated throwing 2 axes which was fun to watch. Drink options available for purchase with options of nonalcoholic and alcohol options (beer, ciders, seltzer, wine). Definitely recommend and will return

We went out for a friends birthday and had such a blast! Candace was such a great teacher and the whole feeling was so chill. We played, missed, hit bulleyes and every part of it was incredibly fun. This was my second visit and I will be returning again and bringing new friends each time!

Axe throwing is a big trend right now and I have been very curious about trying it out. We had so much fun! You pay per person per hour. Non-axe throwers do not have to pay. They also have some games (arcade, Jenga, etc) for kids and adults other than axe throwing. They serve beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. You can bring your own food if you'd like. If you go on a weekend make sure to get a reservation, bc it gets pretty packed! The staff was very helpful and attentive. If it's your first time, no need to worry they teach you how to throw and give you pointers throughout your session. I was initially told their axes don't bounce since they have plastic handles vs the rubber ones most ax places have. They still bounce and slide back toward you!! It's actually not quite as scary as it sounds and you get used to it after a bit! Just make sure to pay attention, lol. We had a really enjoyable experience and it was fun thing something different from the norm. I will definitely be back to sharpen my axe throwing skills!!

Had a good time and some fun exercise hanging with my family this labor day weekend. I was the only person out of 7 who had ever done this before. My group got to play with sharp items and get a workout at the same time. I am glad I planned this event, because our family learned my 15 year old nephew is a axe throwing master. It was a good time and you all should come try it out.

Took my bf here for his birthday and he enjoyed it! It was something we never did before so we decided to give it a try. We made a reservation and was one of the first people there, so it was cool to be by ourselves for a bit before the crowd started showing. Our instructor was such a cool guy. He explained everything, talked to us for a bit and even introduced us to some of his favorite tacos from the spot next door (and they were good) We chose to do the hour and it more than enough time, unless you want to eat. I'd say axe then eat just so your time won't be taken. They have a couple of games like Jenga and others that you can play in the mean time.

Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but if you're in the Arlington area looking for something fun to do this is the perfect place, whether it's a family activity or first date, this is a great spot for fun and drinks! Our server Candice provided excellent customer service and was very friendly! My go to technique is the two handed throw And a pint of michelo ultra! 11/10

This place is a hidden gem, located in downtown Arlington. The area is in a developing spot. There are bars and a few restaurants right in the area. Staff is very knowledgeable on axe throwing and try to help you as much as they can so you can have a great time! This Axe throwing venue is a perfect environment for family and friends. Prices were decent. This place is good for most ages. I believe you must be at least 8 to throw. However, they do have arcade and table games for those who are under age. Overall, we had a lot of fun and plan on making a returning visit.

I came into this location on a whim, I would say that I did enjoy myself. I have never been prior, I came out to other people, we only stayed for about 45 minutes there was nothing wrong with the location. We just didn't find it too entertaining for long periods of time, I will say that mask by staff aren't enforced. The person who was working at a particular time barely wore mask when talking to us other than that the facility was clean and well-maintained.

A Lawsuit Waiting to Happen - Overpriced and Unsafe If you…read moreare thinking about bringing your kids--especially teenagers--to Nerfies, save your money. This place is incredibly disorganized and honestly feels like a lawsuit waiting to happen. For the amount of money you spend to get in, absolutely nothing here is worth it. Here is what you need to know before you go: * Zero Staff Supervision: There are no staff members supervising the bounce room or the shooting area. Because of this, little kids are running wild with guns everywhere. * Not Teen-Friendly: Because the facility is overrun with unsupervised "littles," teenagers do not have a dedicated or safe place to actually play. If you have older kids, this is definitely not the place for you. * Broken Games: The "video game" area is a joke. They only have 12 older games, and only 4 of them actually work. * No Basic Amenities: There is absolutely nowhere to put your shoes. On top of that, they do not offer any food or drinks for sale, meaning you have to haul everything in yourself. Save yourself the headache and the money. We will not be returning.

This allowed for all of our participants to be involved and not worry about the general public and smaller kids! One of our participants was able to get out of his wheel chair and enjoy the bounce house! Oh the smiles! The employees interacted with our participants and even called them by name! We will definitely be back. We were able to bring our own lunch and had a place to sit. The AC was cranking -that was needed!
