First, the glassware is cleaned using a 3-dunk system where the final rinse is sanitizer rather than clean water (see images). I react to sanitizer residue on glasses, and, as an MD, I assure you that any exposure is detrimental to your GI microbiome. We politely asked whether the glasses could simply be rinsed and dried before serving but were told this would only be possible during slower periods. As a workaround, we began bringing our own glasses. Second, the bar staff assured us their pours were standard 16 oz pints. To avoid confusion, we marked our glasses at the 16 oz line. On a later visit, the owner's daughter (whose approach to customer service was unnecessarily confrontational) stormed over and informed us in a rude tone that their glasses were actually 14 oz "shakers," not pints. She then poured the beers well below 14 oz. After measuring the remaining volume at home, the pour was close to 10 oz. We own 14 oz beer glasses, and to receive true 14 oz, the glass would need to be filled to the rim, which obviously is not how beers are served. In practice, customers are receiving roughly 10 oz pours for $7 - excessive and misleading, especially when places like Yard House serve actual pints for $5.49 in properly dishwasher-cleaned glassware. Regarding the food, everything is supplied by Sysco, and nothing is made in-house. It is served on plastic or aluminum trays. Overall, the combination of lack of properly clean glassware -- which is the bare minimum an establishment charging premium prices should provide -- deceptive pour sizes, and the dismissive handling of legitimate customer concerns left us very disappointed. We won't be returning.

The cheesy tots were not that cheesy but the fries were delicious and everybody enjoyed their food. It was fresh tasty not overly salted. Service was great and they have an outdoor dining area and it was sunny and breezy almost a touch too cold, but it was too beautiful of a day to be indoors. Lots of parents with infants. They had some shot specials for Saint Paddy's day seven dollar Jamison shots no pickle backs, they have pineapple or orange juice shots to chase it. I wish they had a drive-through so I can try all their breakfast burritos in the morning. I just can't get motivated sometimes. Burgers have Hawaiian rolls as buns I like that because it kind of teases the savory with the sweet. Only drawback is the pricing I fear for the want to be regulars wanting to enjoy the drafts and tater tots

Everything in the dining area seemed clean and I saw the bartender wipe down counters and tables several times. The food itself was pricey considering it just included the sandwich with no fries or chips but the amount of chicken on it was extremely generous. All the sandwiches come on Kings Hawaiian which I don't like at all, but the bartender made me aware I could substitute for a sesame seed bun which I did. We also had the onion strings...yum. I'm not a beer drinker but my husband enjoyed his German beer. I really wanted to give this place more stars but the delivery of the food was not acceptable. First my sandwich arrived, then 5 or so minutes later the onion strings were brought to us and another 5-10 minutes until my husband's sandwich arrived. This meant I was nearly done eating when his food arrived. Also, we saw a kitchen worker arrive and clock in when we were sitting at the bar that literally looked like he had a long night out and just rolled out of bed. Not how customers should see your staff. I hope to give this place a chance to redeem itself because they have a nice outdoor seating area that I would like to try. I hope someone from this location reads this and takes steps to improve their timing.

However, during the Super Bowl halftime, the broadcast was switched to a different program (Turning Point) instead of the official Super Bowl halftime show. This was very disappointing, especially since this was a paid event and there was no prior notice that the halftime show would not be shown. When we asked about the change and requested a partial refund due to the lack of transparency, the owner's wife refused to discuss the concern and appeared upset that we even asked. When the owner, Jeremy, became involved, the situation escalated. He stated that because we are minorities, it didn't matter, and told us that it was his business and that they didn't need our business. We felt disrespected, insulted, and belittled based on our race and appearance. This experience was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. We chose to leave early because of how the situation was handled. It's unfortunate because the event started off well, but respectful communication, transparency, and treating all customers with dignity should be a priority for any business.

First off--ask for Matheo. The guy is the definition of friendly and on top of it. Service was quick without feeling rushed, and he made the whole experience feel welcoming from the start. Now the food--this is where they really shine. The fish and chips are hands down the closest thing to authentic British fare I've had stateside. Crispy, perfectly cooked, and just done right. Prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the quality you're getting. Atmosphere-wise, they clearly aim for that British pub feel. The only slightly off note is the servers wearing kilts--it leans more "UK mashup" than strictly British--but honestly, when everything else is this good, it's easy to overlook. And whatever you do, don't leave without ordering the sticky toffee pudding. I'm not exaggerating--it's better than anything your Nan could make back in the UK. Fast service, great people, legit food. This place is a win.

Attractive staff will give you fast professional service. But what about the food you ask? We enjoyed our meal very much. My wife had crab cakes, I had the pork schnitzel and our friend had the fish and chips. The Schnitzel was very good and I asked for a side salad and veggies instead of the normal chips and sauerkraut. My wife's crab cakes were Texas size and she could not finish them but enjoyed them and the next day. When my friend was not looking I stole a few fries and part of his fish. Yummy! This place is very big with lots of outside seating on the patio as well as a double decker bus. Not sure if that is only for parties or big weekends. So brings your buddies and lads and have a great time down at the pub in Leon Springs. Maybe I will see you at the next Super Bowl?
