Cool little bar. If I lived in Kerrville I'd be there quite a lot. Good selection of draft beers and friendly service.

The only place in town with food after 10pm that wasn't a fast food chain! We came in from the road at about 10:15pm sat at the bar and got our drinks and food just fine. It's a fairly small place with lots of locals but everyone was friendly. read more

A nice little hole in the wall icehouse with great staff and a decent list of drafts. However, going to knock off stars for the quality and timing of the food. 5 of us eating and our food came out individually with about 3-5 minutes apart each. The flatbreads were ok. The nachos were subpar and lost all their crispiness. You can see the frito wrap in the pic. I'm not sure how it turned out that way except maybe they might need some more practice on their folding. The ingredients were ok without much flavor. Good choice of beers but a little pricy for drafts. read more

I am visiting from Houston for work (I havre been here for a week and a half)....So for me the bar is set high!!! I would rank this phenomial establishment and bartender (Natalie) right there with my favorites in the 4th largest city in the USA!!! I had the unfortunate opportunity to visit establishments before I found Wilson's Icehouse!! These particular establishments are very unwelcoming, rude and (it wasn't a matter of if but when a fight would breakout, which they did) made me feel very uneasy!! The atmosphere, service and food is impeccable at Wilson's!!! I want to get to the best part though!!!.....Natalie is one of the best inviting, upbeat and unforgettable bartenders I have ever met!!! She "owns her bar"!!! She knows every client that walks in..what they drink, eat and like to talk about! Natalie is SINCERELY A TRUE HIDDEN GEM IN KERRVILLE!!! It is a must you visit Natalie and Wilson's if you are even remotely in the area! It seems like a cozy little bar, there's enough tvs to watch sports. Food was ok nothing to brag about. The service was just awful. Had one beer with the meal, asked for another and then was completely forgotten. No one ever came back to our table. Finally I had to ask for the check. I give two stars in hoping they can get it together. read more

The last few times we have stopped by there was something different we couldn't put our finger on. Found out Wilson's is under new ownership and apparently the days of awesomeness are gone. Beer selection sucks now and the all about money philosophy is in full effect. Service was still great, have not eaten there in a while so not sure about that. My husband went in hoping for a drink and good meal as I have been before. This time was awful. I ordered a Moscow Mule but the bartender/waiter brought me the same beer my Husband ordered. We had to get the menus ourselves. The bartender took 25 minutes before he asked us what we wanted to eat while we watched him go to the other table 3X. This place is awful. What a gem! If I didn't know better, I would have driven right by. The bartender was wonderful and knew her way around the bar. There were at least 3 full tables and quite a few people at the bar and she handled it like a pro. The flatbread pizza is delicious and they do all kinds of events with crawfish boils. Super cute spot in Kerville. They always have great rotating craft beers on tap. They also a great menu, back bar section, and food. The staff is super friendly every time I come in. They host many fun pint nights as well. I think it's one of Kervilles hot spots to hang out. They open early and stay open late. Highly recommend a visit for a great beer and/or cocktail. Stooped in for a drink with Friends to watch the Christmas parade. Nice atmosphere, clean bathrooms and super friendly staff! We had some cocktails and beers and the warm pretzel with beer cheese, which was delicious. I'd stick with beer, as the cocktails were weak, mostly juice, but tasty. The staff and atmosphere were enough to bring me back. only think I didn't like was the music. Be nice if they had a jukebox. fun place! read more

Great hidden gem in Kerrville after long day of riding Three/Twisted Sisters this is a must to relax have a cold beer and enjoy pleasant conversations without yelling. It has great seating inside and out. But one of the highlights is their beer selection from Death by Coconut, Rolling Rock to Coffee Porter. Don't know anything about that last one except its local and had good flavor. We all had the flatbread pizzas and while i would have liked mine a little more crisp flavors were really good. They have seafood like shrimp & oysters to flatbread sandwiches with goat cheese....really but its not foo foo type place. Large selection of specials and Sundays 10am-2pm Bloody Mary bar...that should get ya going. read more

I really liked this place. The bartender was polite and friendly, the beer selection was better than another bar I went to (Ol' Watering Hole), there were plenty of plush chairs and sofas to sit in, in addition to comfortable bar seating, not to mention a chess board. The clientele was also a lot nicer than some of the other local bars, and the interior was also well thought out and kept clean, including the bathrooms. I also never order bar food, but decided to give this place a shot. I ordered the green goat flatbread pizza. It could've used some more seasoning, but was otherwise pretty good and made to order. Meh. The good bartenders have left and the new one Steve kinda sucks, awful, and rude. Drinks sucked and service was awful. Had to watch him take shots with regulars while my cup was empty where he hardly even looked over to see if I needed anything else. Was too busy taking shots in the back or outside with other guest. The bar itself is good. If you get the older women at night you better cash out and go somewhere else. Ive visted here a few times and every time at night theres either a cute girl with long hair and cool ink or the mean older women. At first i thought she was having a bad day then the next time i went she was still rude. Taking shots and talking to a select few people but very snappy still. I hope this lady learns to be nicer to guest maybe stop drinking on the job. some day ill be back to try it again but for the time ill go to other bars while im in town. read more
