At the 3 month follow up appointment she said just give it time to heal.. At our initial consultation she said 100% I would develop a cataract in that eye, 6 months has passed, my right eye vision is so bad I went to see my optometrist, he checked my eyes and did NOT see a cataract. Just that my vision has dramatically declined in that eye. As other's have said, for the 3 month check up they were preparing to leave for lunch when they realized all the patients after me had been seen & I was still there, the assistant / nurse had never noticed my appointment "slip", ugh! I have been on hold for hours the past 2 days by the automated message to cancel my 6 month appointment this Thursday, no one ever answers, I think they must be closed part of the week. You can not even leave a voicemail! Even tried the billing option, you can leave a message there, the woman says she will get back to you in 42-78 hours! I finally sent a general message asking to CANCEL APPOINTMENT, we'll see if they respond? The whole experience has been a nightmare, I'm making a appointment @ Southwest Medical Center!

Leaving here feeling really good about and confident in my previous retinal treatment with Dr Rostami. Kudos to him on his good work! However going forward I will be moving on over to this office. Here's why: *friendly efficient staff *very "dialed in" system here (very little waiting) *I was in and out of office in under 1 hour *Dr Choi has excellent bedside manner *Super knowledgeable about all areas effecting the retina and mine specifically *He put my big scary fears at ease *He explained things to me about the "trifecta" or perfect storm as he calls it in regards to my left eye. *This office also has a team of surgeons just like Dr Choi, season experienced and highly knowledgeable. *Dr Choi also discouraged me from Lasik with my left eye - too risky on that left eye. *Told me not to try and correct the floaters too risky Bottom line getting older sucks, being very near sighted sucks but at least I have Retina Specialists and Dr Choi in my corner! Feeling thankful! Should you choose to come here I know you're in great hands!

They didn't even open the front window to provide patients with forms until AFTER 10-15 mins after we signed the sign-in sheet. Thankfully, I already filled out the forms online, so I only had to wait an hour. :/ After waiting an hour to be called back, the gal taking images of my eyes on the OCT machine didn't even wait until the light was green. It was mostly blue or red when she snapped a shot. The medical records gal was very unkind as well. She claimed some of my meds were not real meds because they were "just over-the-counter vitamins". When I told her 2 were treatment for severe Vitamin B12 and D deficiencies, she just said, "Oh". Not, "I'm sorry." Just, a callous "Oh". When we got to allergies, she claimed my allergy to a med wasn't a real allergy. So when I told her that that's what the hospital staff told me when I was treated for the allergic reaction to the med, I just got another uncaring "Oh". Dr. Santosh Patel was no better. He decided since I only have blurry vision and difficulty reading and making out details, but don't have light flickers or floaters, then there's no way I have a macular hole. This, BEFORE he even looked at the images of my eyes or reviewed my medical records. Then he belittled my Optometrist saying, "I can't believe he thought you had a hole in your right eye when you obviously have blood leakage". I told him, "I can believe it...because it was my LEFT eye he saw the hole in, not my right." When I asked him why I have bleeding in the retinal part of my right eye, he said it's either due to my diabetes or hypertension. When I told him I have neither. He said, "Oh, then there's no reason for the bleeding since you don't have either, and you're in perfectly good health otherwise." I said, "Really? Because I've had 13 surgeries, 3 in the past year and the most recent was my 3rd heart surgery, which I had a month ago. So do you think the bleeding might be due to any of my other health issues or meds, like Eliquis?" He said, "No, it's nothing to be concerned about. It'll resolve itself." Dr. Santosh Patel told me to return in 6 months to recheck. Not happening. STAY. AWAY. FROM. THIS. OFFICE.

OnExperience Review My overall experience with this eye…read moreclinic was disappointing and frustrating. From the very beginning, the process felt like being on a conveyor belt--shuffled from room to room, with a different technician each time, and very little personal attention. When it came time to meet the doctor to select my lens, I never received a clear breakdown of the options. Instead, I was given a handwritten note showing only the most expensive and the lowest- priced choices. I wasn't entirely sure what I was choosing but ended up selecting the most expensive option. The second eye surgery was delayed by a week, which pushed back the time I could start using the new lenses. I left the appointment without any instructions for a follow-up. When I called the office to confirm, I was given incorrect information. On my next visit, after going through the same conveyor belt process, a doctor I had not scheduled with examined me and said my eyes were too dry to proceed, requiring another reschedule. The scheduler then informed me there would be no availability for at least a week, possibly longer. By this point, I was very frustrated with the delays. During another appointment, I was not given any prescriptions or priority scheduling, even though the manager had previously said I would receive both. Several other things stood out: * There were no refreshments or snacks offered, despite positive reviews mentioning them. * There is a second waiting room, which I still do not understand the purpose of. * I was recommended to use Miabo eye drops, which my insurance did not cover and which cost nearly $900 for a small bottle. Overall, my experience was poor and left me feeling neglected as a patient. The entire process was disorganized, communication was unclear, and the costs were extremely high--around $9,000 in total. I want to share this so other patients are aware of what they might encounter. counter. Approximate Cost: $9,000 Final Opinion: I cannot recommend this clinic based on my experience. the initial evaluation, I felt like I was on a conveyor belt being shipped from room to room and never with the same technician. Then I was supposed to meet a doctor to choose the lens, he never showed te breakdown of the lens, instead he sent a hand written of my options the most expensive and the lowest, not sure what I had chosen.but I chose the most expensive. On the second eye surgery. I was rescheduled to another week, which extended the time of getting the lens up and working. I left with no instructions to come back. I called the office to see when I was to come back and was given wrong information. After the conveyor belt again, I went to a doctor's office. A person who I had not scheduled with showed up and started looking at my eyes and said we have to reschedule the appointment because my eyes were too dry, for one week. The scheduler said there was no chance for a week and it would be considerably later. I became quite agitated at this point as ''this was taking forever.'' Another appointment, after the evaluation, I was not today given prescriptions and no priority booking my appointment as I was told by the manager I would like address a couple of good reviews, there was no one passing out snacks, there is a second waiting room, which I still don't understand, and they wanted me on Miabo, eye drops, which my insurance did not cover, and the price was around $ 900.00 for a very small bottle. All this made me want to inform customers as this is obviously my opinion. The cost was about approximately $ 9000.00.

The first optometrist misdiagnosed me, claiming I had glaucoma, which is incurable. I refused to accept that, so after talking to some colleagues, I went to see Arzoo. She determined I have cataracts, and it's an easy thing to cure, where 99%+ surgeries are successful, and fast. She recommended a surgeon, who I won't name since I want the focus to be on Arzoo. :) I had plenty in my HSA, so I went to the surgeon she recommended. After two surgeries, one per eye, my vision is now better than 20/20. I'm so happy that I can see so clearly so far away. I need reading glasses for anything under 18" but I can see the instruments in my Jeep without any issue. I was told before surgery and I am totally fine with that! I just use reading glasses when I'm at my computer at home or work. I really mean it when I say Arzoo saved my life. Life today is so much happier than it was before I had cataract surgery. She is quite experienced, and capable, and she has the interests of her paticince in mind. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Kaplan was my daughter's pediatrician for her entire childhood from birth until her mid-teens…read moreand I always felt extremely blessed to have found him as her first primary care physician. Since my daughter spent a few months in the NICU before coming home, we had time to consider who would be her pediatrician once she came home. I made several calls to the "highly-recommended" pediatrician groups around town, only to become disappointed that calls were not returned, or that because my daughter had been born early and I was still not pregnant, they would not honor the usual invitations for new parents to come meet the providers. I also realized that a large group, no matter how good the doctors may be, would not offer the consistency or personal attention that I anticipated might be needed bringing home a preemie infant who had just spent 11 weeks in the NICU. So when I was referred to Dr. Kaplan, I was thrilled that his nurse Holly called me and actually spoke to me like a real person and a new mom bringing home a NICU baby. Since her discharge date from the hospital was uncertain, Holly assured me that all I needed to do was call her when we came home and they would see us right away, no matter when that might be. True to their word, we were able to come within our first 2 days at home. Whenever we had any issue at all, I could call Holly or any of nurses/assistants, and the calls would be returned almost immediately. As a NICU baby, my daughter's early life was spent being followed by several specialists including pedi pulmonologist, pedi ophthalmologist (for a rare eye disorder), vision/retina specialists for ongoing testing, developmental pedi specialists, and later a pedi endocrinologist. At each well visit, Dr. Kaplan sat and took the time to go through specialist we were seeing and get an update on what was happening. Once, when we had a health scare requiring urgent testing be arranged, his staff even went above and beyond to call our other providers and rearrange scheduling of other services so that we could be available for the urgent testing, and Dr. Kaplan even called me personally to discuss the situation. Dr. Kaplan's bedside manner with kids is also the best. From the time my daughter was an infant, he has always entered the room greeting her first. He has a gentle and kind manner with his pedi patients that we would all like to see from any doctor. Overall, I cannot thank or recommend Dr. Kaplan enough. He was the best and only pediatrician my daughter ever needed, and made our early years that much simpler knowing we were in the best hands possible to care for her medical needs.

Came to Dr Goldsberrry for an exam.Cataract surgery was recommended. I elected to have it. I chose the upgrade lens. Procedure went great.... At first. Called a week later and said "I don't think this feels right ". His tech assistant said to me via text: "Hi Gary I got your voice mail. You are still healing and going to have fluctuation with the vision. Please make sure you are using lots of artificial tears throughout the day and using the steroid drops as directed. As long as you are not in any pain and not seeing any big floaters or flashes you should be ok to wait until the next post- op appointment. We will measure your vision then." When I went back for a 30 day post surgery visit. I learned to my horror, I had a detached Retina. A detached Retina Requires a whole new surgery. Still not sure of my vision outcome. Dr Goldsberrry got me an appointment with a Retina specialist pronto. However, I said "Dr I called your office for help" 3 weeks ago His response was basically oh well. Total cold fish. My vision may be ruined forever. Too bad So sad was the attitude I felt when learning my retina had become detached post surgery For over three weeks my retina was detached and undetected- and could lead to permanent eye damage . to this day, I've heard not a word about his concerns for my eye. I thought he would've called to follow up. He has shown zero concern or empathy for my condition. Message to all patients. Be your own advocate. If it feels wrong to you it's wrong!
